One of the best banh mi I have ever had. The 14 hour brisket is immaculate. Great people watching and crunchy bread

I stopped by and ordered a brisket pho and the meat was so delicious - it reminded me of southern bbq style smoked brisket more so than traditional pho and was very thick cut and just a little fatty which I liked. There's a nice little back patio seating area and my friends both enjoyed their bahn mis. Definitely recommend! read more

I've been to Lucy's a few times, but only during the peak pandemic times. The space is very small, with only a few tables in the front area. Ordering is at the counter. Indoor seating was closed the last time I went, as was the backyard area. Outdoor seating in the front was open. I've tried the following dishes: Tofu Summer Roll (4/5): A nice rendition of a summer roll. Nice, fresh ingredients. No major issues with this dish! Vegan Ginger Chick'n Pho (4.5/5): I really enjoyed this pho. It was super flavorful for a vegetarian broth. The noodles were well cooked -- not too stiff or soggy. There was an ample amount of veggies in it, in addition to the vegan chick'n. I would definitely order it again. Vegan Ginger Chick'n Banh Mi (3.5/5): This was a decent vegetarian banh mi. The bread wasn't bad -- it wasn't fresh out of the oven, but was very decent. There could've been more bo, but the sandwich otherwise had the right internal contents. I really like Lucy's and would definitely return for a nice bowl of pho! read more

So glad that I stopped in for a takeout lunch! I had their Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi. The bread itself, pickled carrots, cucumbers, and other veggies all perfectly complemented the chicken itself. Will need to come back soon to try the Smoked Brisket Bahn M next! read more

Casual and cozy ambience, friendly staff, and delicious food for carnivores as well as vegans! I'm vegan and always love when I have more than one choice that's not salad to enjoy from a restaurant. We tried the bahm mi, pho, and stir fry noodles with tofu and delicious plant based chicken. The peanut butter and hot sauces are on point. The Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is to DIE for and my husband loved the iced tea. We loved our seats outdoor in the super cute backyard and couldn't recommend this restaurant more. Definitely coming back with friends! read more

Ordered the Lime Grass Chicken sandwich and Brisket Bowl. The sandwich was very savory and fresh Good portion of meat to greens ratio. Bread was a soft crunch but a little too flakey. Brisket Bowl was very good. Was craving more brisket after! Service was very fast the shop was such a cute vibe, will be ordering again! read more

I walk by this place all the time so I decided to try it out. I was excited to see that the bag it was delivered in looked very nice and came with some high quality Lee kum Kee Sriracha and hoisin sauce. Sadly, the food itself was just not good. The chicken seemed pretty low quality as it had brown spots all over it and was just not a great texture. The vegetables and mushrooms were not fresh either, and overall the bowl just didn't have much flavor. Very infrequently do I not finish my entire meal, but this one was too tough for me to stomach that I ended up having to throw a good portion of it away. read more

Lucy's - Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli Bowl - Vietnamese Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Amazing vegan chicken pho. I will definitely be ordering again. Broth was very flavorful.

My friend and I came on weekend for lunch. We both got a lemongrass chicken bahn mi. Not super impressed, apart from the tender chicken, there wasn't much flavor going on. Especially for the price. There are definitely better and cheaper bahn mi places. read more

Lucy's - Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi - Vietnamese Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I don't like giving low reviews and I probably should've researched the menu beforehand, but it is not normal pho - more like southern fusion so it really did not hit my pho craving at all. Honestly smoked brisket gets dried out and actually overpowers the entire soup. Literally just tastes like the brisket and it's fat, which is not terrible but doesn't even taste like pho anymore. I'd say skip the pho if you're looking for that craving, order something else like banh mi. read more

I was a little skeptical at the rave Yelp reviews for Lucy's when I arrived yesterday - it was largely empty at the beginning of the dinner period (6:00 PM), but after eating here, I can safely say that this is a premier Pho destination in the NYC area. The good: Quality of ingredients, fast prep and cooking, great service, extremely reasonable pricing The not-so-good: Bar none, Lucy's has some of the best broth and meat portions I've ever had in Pho. The brisket alone was extremely tender, was well seasoned, and was of the same quality that you'd expect at a barbecue joint. My wife had the lemongrass chicken, which was equally well-seasoned and is extremely high quality. In retrospect, Lucy's could charge much more for their Pho offerings than they do, but I was thrilled at the price point. Two pho bowls plus drink, tax, and tip, was $40. I look forward to coming back to Lucy's and trying the rest of the menu. Outstanding experience. read more

More feeling a 2.5 if comparing to the pho I grew up with, but 3 in compatible to pho in ny The noodles were good! The soup was warm and comforting. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of a smoked brisket - it gave me Texas bbq vibes mixed with Asian noodles. Service was nice and quick! Ambiance was casual. Still appreciate this place as something quick and warm, just not the most authentic pho places. read more

Tried the Beef brisket Banh Mi sandwich. It was great! I would recommend it. Generally, I'm not a fan of the traditional Banh Mi sandwiches because the are usually a little too dry to suit my taste. BUT this brisket had the the just right texture and taste. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I order off grub hub for pick up the other day. This was my first time ordering Lucy's, they give you a nice reusable tote bag and the portions were all generous. I order the lemongrass chicken pho and the lemongrass chicken summer rolls. I really enjoyed both, the soup had great depth of flavor and good amount of meat and noodles. The summer rolls were perfectly done and refreshing. The fish sauce was very good and paired perfectly, just wish it had more peanut flavor in it. read more

One of the best vegan-friendly Vietnamese places that I've been to. Strictly for take out, we ordered their vegan chicken pho and their vegan chicken summer rolls. Not sure how they did it but they got the texture of chicken done right and the seasoning on point. Vegan chicken is made of non-GMO soybeans and cholesterol free. Vegetarian broth is flavored well. The star of the show - while the pho was great - the summer roll. Perfect balance of Thai basil, rice vermicelli, red cabbage with hoisin sauce on the side. It's the perfect appetizer Can't wait to reorder again and stop by to support a local business. read more

Lucy's - Vegan Ginger Chicken Pho, 2 for $7 Summer Rolls - Vietnamese Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Great Western take on an asian cuisine! Food 4/5 Food was great but it's more of a fusion rather than authentic pho. The pho served with brisket rather than thinly sliced beef. As an asian person, i think i still prefer the original pho. I think the most popular dish is actually the lemongrass chicken. Service 5/5 Friendly, fast and safe. Over the counter and everyone was wearing a mask and following covid 19 protocols Ambiance When I went, it's either they are putting up or tearing down the outdoor dining area. There weren't any i door sitting then read more

This was a cute, small Vietnamese restaurant. I was actually surprised at the menu since it seemed like they focused on specific proteins but for the summer rolls, they didn't have a shrimp option so I opted for the lemongrass which wasn't bad but my favorite would still be shrimp. They're very filled and packed so that was nice. There was no steak pho, which is also my staple and favorite so I opted for lemongrass chicken pho...which I don't think I've ever had a chicken pho before. It was definitely interesting, the broth wasn't as flavorful but the chicken was chewy and soft. It was just pretty bland in my opinion and didn't really give me any kick, even with the hoisin and sriracha sauces. I think their brisket pho is their main dish as it's soaked over 14 hours? Maybe I'll come back to try that or the other dishes but wasn't super impressed. read more

First and foremost I want to thank Lucy's for taking exceptional care of the us healthcare workers fighting on the frontline during this crazy time. They've brought us food not once, but multiple times. The delicious vietnamese coffee which tastes good at any time of the day is just the pick me up you need at the beginning, middle, and end of your shift. I had the pho and the spring rolls. I was too busy to actually eat the food when it was brought to us, but I took it home. It was packaged cutely in the containers. Noodles and meat in one, and broth in another, and they packaged it with instructions, and let me say If it was this good the day after I can't even imagine how good it was yesterday. The broth is the perfect balance of salty and tangy, with a hint of spice, if you like more spice you can always add it in. The broth had many depths of flavor and I could probably drink an entire container of that liquid goodness. The noodles were still tender Somehow, and the beef brisket was so so so d@mn good. It's got a black pepper crust, and it's was tender and so palatable. I can't say enough good things about the food at Lucy's, as well as the people behind the operation, I appreciate you and all the delicious food. I look forward to when our country is safe and we can all be out and about (safely) and we can come in and try your entire menu! *disclaimer I would've photographed the food for everyone to see but my hunger outweighed all other things read more

Solid spot for no frills, fast casual Vietnamese food. I've been here a few times and can never resist their tofu banh mi--super thick and filling with all the sauces you could ask for already at each table. This is possibly the best banh mi I've had in New York but I haven't tried enough to qualify myself. Prices are fair for the area and this has become a bit of a go-to, need-food-now place in Williamsburg. read more

Crazy amount of single use plastic!! So much plastic even when dinging outside at the establishment. Everything was served in plastic separately from the side sauces, veggies, broth, noodles, water cups etc. I would understand if we ordered to go but we sat outside to eat there. It's just upsetting to be so wasteful and more so it kills the dinning experience. There is a recycling bin but doubtful that it actually gets recycled as I've seen people accidentally mistaking it for trash bin. The pho here is great with the smoked brisket. The broth is delicious and the meat is good. This is not your authentic pho. It definitely has a twist to it and is shaking up the pho game. I would prefer more veggies served with it like basil and fresh Thai peppers. But I think this franchise is catering more to the western culture. The spring rolls are good, honestly it's the brisket that is the star of Lucy's. The bahn mi is also not authentic. But it's good, filling and if you're hungry for a brisket sandwich I would order it! We would consider coming back or ordering to go! Staff is super friendly and kind! read more

Personally not my favorite place for Vietnamese cuisine. The authentic flavor is missing. I will note that for a restaurant that is trying to be more vegetarian/vegan friendly, I will acknowledge that they provide you plenty of vegetables in their portions. The pho broth wasn't so bad either, but this is not somewhere I would go out of my way for in order to have Vietnamese food. read more

I was really craving noodle soup today, so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered their brisket pho to go, which is a bit pricey ($15.95 pre-tax) and it was delicious. The brisket was so tender and there was a generous amount of meat. I wish the broth was a touch more flavorful, but overall the pho was fantastic. My biggest problem is how they packaged the food... The soup and veggies were in one container and the noodles and brisket were in another... Both were reasonably full so it was tough to pour soup into one container and vice versa. I wish they gave you a bowl or something for take out to combine everything. read more

I am so confused by the average rating. Ordered the lemongrass chicken pho. The chicken was not bad it was tender, but what makes this a 2-star for me is the vegan broth. It is SO SALTY. The broth is supposed to be the main character, but wow it made the dish almost unedible to me. This place is not for me and I won't be coming back again. read more

It's soup. It had chicken. Broth was ok. But choi and huge sections of chicken thighs??No herbs. This sure isn't pho.

This place will not cure your pho craving. Not a lot of options & it made my tummy hurt.

American Pho. Don't try unless you're looking for that type of food. I tried bc they had good reviews and 4.3 stars. For the broth being vegan, it's pretty good. It's just not pho. If you think it's just noodle soup, it's decent food. Unfortunately the noodles were over cooked for me, they give you a very small amount of bean sprout, some weird hot sauce that's nothing similar to Siracha or hot oil spice sauce. I got the brisket pho as they advertise. The brisket alone is good but not sure if it belongs on a bowl of pho. We also got chicken banhmi but that was meh. Maybe this is a good place for vegans. Not sure. The time to service, place, music etc was all good. But don't come here expecting the traditional pho. Food - 5/5 Service - 1/5 I really like the banh mi at Lucy's! I've been here a few times and will definitely go again. Unfortunately last time I went there, one of the staff members was incredibly rude. Their ordering system is kind of a trainwreck. I placed an order for dining in, but it didn't ask me either my name or if the order was for dining in or take out. I guess someone had left the ordering mid way, so I didn't see that screen. I went and sat in the back and came back after 5 minutes to pick up my order. I saw that there was a tall Asian guy working on my banh mis so I just waited for him to finish. Once he was done, they were just lying there, so I tried asking him if I could just pick them up. At first he ignored me and subsequently yelled "Just wait for it to be packed man". I tried explaining to him that it wasn't a to go order but they still packed it up and were acting weird. All this after I tipped well. read more

Everything yes to this place. Ordered delivery for the first time. Everything was packed beautifully, came quick and hot and most importantly... tasted amazing. I got the vegan chicken, and was nervous about it because I have lots of issues with texture and foods but this was perfect and seasoned so well. Complimented the broth so nicely. This will be a new go-to for sure! read more

One of my favorite spots for flavorful vegetarian pho! I've only gotten delivery once or twice but love that they're very knowledgeable in terms of dietary restrictions. The veggie broth is delish! Though I do wish they had seafood protein to be able to add (I'm halal/pescatarian), I love that this is a great option! Their vegan 'chicken' is actually pretty good and flavorful and this is coming from someone who usually doesn't like vegan 'chicken'. Would love to go in person some time but for now delivery has always been on point! read more
