So Iam a sucker for a dumpling. I got two kinds. One fried and one steamed. The steamed one was very good. The fried one had almost a kerosene aftertaste, if that's even a thing. But the dumplings were good. This is a small fast casual place. Most people did take out when I was there but a few sat at the tables. There was an interesting selection of Chinese potato chips. I didn't get them (saw them after the fact) but if I go again, I'll try them. So I'd come here again. The dumplings were good and decently priced. I just would get steamed and not fried.

Brown Sugar Bubble Tea & Braised Pork Rice

Mid food and drink at expensive prices. My meal came out to $25 at the Greenpoint, Brooklyn location. The flavor of the Brown Sugar Milk Tea was barely perceptible but at least the tapioca pearls were soft and sweet. My Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice was so, so disappointing. It was tough and dry. Being Taiwanese, I know that Lu Rou Fan is supposed to be fatty and juicy, and I've had it way better elsewhere in Brooklyn. Perhaps I should have stuck with the dumplings here. Service was quick and friendly, and the interior was clean with plenty of seating. Edit: My review has been removed twice, so I'm posting proof that I went to this location and took the picture there.

I stopped by for lunch early on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. There's only about 6 tables inside and some outdoor seating as well. It was order at the counter and seat yourself. We had the boiled beef dumplings that probably would have been better pan fried which they give the option of boiled or pan fried. We also had the soup dumplings which were tasty. I was most excited for the Mapo tofu but was left disappointed. It was not very spicy but gave the tingling and numbness sensation on the tongue from the Szechuan pepper which I did not particularly enjoy and wished it was just spicier. The place overall was clean but the bathroom was very filthy. Food was just alright therefore don't think I would return.

Scallion Pancakes Veggie Dumpling Shrimp Dumpling

Closer to 3.5 but rounding up as those veggie dumplings really hit the spot. This is a good fast casual, no frills dumpling spot in Greenpoint. We got: - veggie dumplings pan fried (4.5/5) - delicious, would definitely get this again. Make sure to grab some spicy chili sauce to dip it in at the front. - shrimp dumplings (3.5/5) - solid but the veggie ones outshine these. - scallion pancake with shrimp (4/5) - scallion pancake was flaky and it was nice. - shrimp bing (3.5/5) - I wish this were crunchier but the bing was a little soggy. I heard the veggie one was better so I'd try that next time. - taro milk brown sugar boba (3/5): standard, nothing special but hits the spot if you are craving it.

Pork Soup Dumplings, Pork Belly Gua Bao (Buns), Beef Noodle, Taiwan Beer Lychee

The "Oh" in Oh Dumplings stand for Oh My God because these were some of the tastiest soup dumplings I've had in the city! So much soup inside and bursting with flavor- 10/10! The bao buns were just okay for me (I wouldn't say necessary to get them). But then the beef noodle - wow wow wow and even that's not enough. The beef was incredibly tender, noodles weren't too soft, and the rich broth made it the perfect winter comfort food. 10/10 I recommend you get it. The Taiwanese beer (lychee) was also delicious!! The restaurant was clean and the service was quick and friendly, and prices are good! I love affordable dumpling spots and this will become one of my regulars for sure.

I always order the boiled vegetable dumplings. The cashier is very friendly and I go so often he has become a friend. My foodie wife enjoys the beef noodles, rainbow dumplings, and lamb bento. It's always a pleasant experience coming here.

amazing food . delicous had the. egg fried rice delicous, pork dumplings delicious. string beans where real good just wish they came warm but the taste was amazing . and the tawainese beef soup was also delicioso. dont forget the chili sauce . ill definitely be back

Don't lie about all your dumplings being fresh. I ordered the Cabbage Pork Dumplings, mini Pork and Mushroom Dumplings, and Chicken Congee on Ubereats. Overall, the experience was very average, the Cabbage Pork Dumpling tasted very fresh and was quite flavorful but the Congee was a bit stale for my liking. However, when I moved on to the mini Pork and Mushroom Dumplings, I thought they looked familiar. Then when I took a bite they tasted identical to frozen ones you can buy for $5 a bag (pictures below) Again, other food was okay but if you advertise your food as being fresh then don't be this blatant about serving frozen dumplings on your menu at an insane markup.

The food was fine, but it seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. Nothing exceptional but fast and convenient.

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

The pork with garlic sauce was absolutely delicious. This one isn't spicy so it didn't numb the mouth. The mapo tofu was also delicious and a little spicier but still not numbing the mouth. Def better to have it with rice though. The green pepper fish was mouth numbing and honestly I couldn't taste much of the flavor because the combination of spice and the hot temperature of the food was overbearing for me. So if you're like me and can tolerate some spicy but not numbing spicy then I would recommend telling them less spicy. Portions were perfect for 5 people (3 males and 2 females) as we ordered 2 of the pork with garlic sauce, 2 mapo tofus, and 1 big green pepper fish dish. We went on a Saturday at 5:30pm so it wasn't too crowded. Overall delicious and the staff were all friendly and very attentive in filling up our water for our spicy meal. (mapo tofu not shown as we were too hungry)

Pray tell, why would you send me on my way with 3 packets of duck sauce and one container of…read moreketchup for crab Rangoon?? Where is the sweet & sour? Where is the sweet chili? Cheap. There was nothing that I ordered that needed ketchup. Nothing. There wasn't even soy sauce in the bag. Then had the unmitigated gall to charge $22 for the salt baked shrimp and told me I had to pay $5 extra to substitute the lo mein for white rice. Who is eating white rice with shrimp? Girl bye. I'm not paying almost $30 for one meal from a hood Chinese spot. If there's no heat in your establishment, your prices need to be in lowercase. If it looks like you might catch staph in your establishment, your prices need not to be so loud. I also believe they overcharged me. They did have a sign saying that the prices went up, but I think they may have been too cheap to print out a new menu if that was the case. I was going off of what they had on the wall for the general public. So as I stated, I ordered crab Rangoon ($7, allegedly), honey wings ($7, allegedly), a shrimp egg roll ($2, allegedly), spare rib tips with fried rice ($12, allegedly). My total was $31. My assumption is they probably charged me extra for pork fried rice, which I didn't ask him for. I know for a fact they are not charging tax because there's no way that you're forcing people to pay in cash while also charging them for taxes that you don't pay. The crab Rangoon was actually pretty decent even though I didn't have the sauce that comes with it. The honey wings were OK. They actually taste more like honey BBQ. I prefer C&Y honey wings. It's real honey and stay hot for an hour due to the way honey maintains heat. I also don't appreciate when these spots chop up a wing and call it two wings. 1 wing is the entire thing. STINGY. The spare rib tips I don't like and neither do I like their pork fried rice. The rice is a bit bland and I don't like those large spare rib tips. I prefer the boneless spare rib tips that C&Y has. A shrimp roll is a shrimp roll is a shrimp roll. It wasn't too bad and it was actually pretty happy. The shrimp was a little bit larger than those baby shrimp that they normally stuff in shrimp rolls. Their pricing is on par with C&Y yet I don't have no issues paying what they ask and their food is good aside from their lo mein. They are not stingy and have pretty decent customer service unlike the guy who took my order here who paused my order to take another order over the phone and tend to the person behind me. This is what I get for cheating on my spot and being lazy when they both were far af.
