I've been here before for takeout for the tofu with vegetables and it was alright, not as good as some other places I frequent. The other day, since I was home sick with a summer cold and didn't have anything to eat all day and I was getting weak from hunger, I decided to call them for delivery. I ordered the vegetable fried rice and asked them for their opinion on the fish with garlic or the fish with black bean and they helped me decide on the latter. It was quick and easy and they delivered to me in about 20 minutes. I had just enough strength to hop outside and get the mail and the nice driver was right around the corner with my hot and delicious food. The vegetable fried rice was mixed with egg and vegetables and flavored just right and the white fish was tender and flaky mixed with soft white onions in a light gravy with black beans. I expected the fish to be on the salty side based on other black bean dishes at other restaurants but it was perfectly seasoned (i.e. not salty). I'll be back for more. read more

Food is tasty. Took about 45 minutes. I called to order and still had to wait about 20 extra minutes. I live less than 10 minutes away. Beef is less than room temperature. For $37, they could add another rib or at least fill the to-go boxes a bit more. While I sat in the restaurant, someone walked in to order and they got there food and left about 5 minutes before I did. Hmmm?? There's another Chinese food place that I usually go to but I decided to try this out since I read great reviews. Decided to dine here based on Yelp reviews. Appearance: This place looks like it used to be an express Chinese fast food, but has now become a restaurant. it lacks the restaurant appeal. There were several regulars that came in and the server knew just what they wanted. Service: our server was excellent, very attentive courteous and I loved his personality. Food: We ordered 4 dishes--Shrimp fried Rice, Walnut shrimp, vegetable chowmein, and orange chicken. All four dishes we delicious, and executed in a timely manner. The shrimp especially was cooked to perfection. Overall: this has definitely become my go-to Chinese restaurant. I'm definitely coming back. I love this place! Everything is made as you order and taste amazing! They are very friendly! We always order when our family is getting together and there is always something for everyone! We got all of our family hooked on it! In a way we are happy that our dryer broke down and we were forced to go to the laundry mat! This is a very convenient place to have around. Every once in a while we don't feel like cooking and don't feel like going out...so we order on the Yelp APP and have it delivered to our door. And everything is taken care of. They ring the doorbell and hand you the bag. Quick, Easy, and tasty. And I always get good fortunes in my Fortune Cookies. We usually order the Kung Pao Chicken and some of the fried shrimp. The Kung Pao is generally pretty good, but inconsistent in the spiciness. Sometimes it pretty darn spicy and sometimes its not very spicy at all. After ordering the food is delivered fairly soon. It is always hot temperature wise and generally flavorful with generous sized portions. There is always enough left over for another meal or two. I had previously been hooked on the beef and Broccoli - which was consistently good. The broccoli was always cooked properly and never mushy or overcooked, and the entree was very flavorful. We have never been to the actual restaurant, always relying on the prompt delivery service to aid us on our LAZY DAYS. On a sad note - last time we ordered some food - we noticed that he fried shrimp were no longer on the menu. So we ordered the vegetable egg rolls - which were good, but no match for the shrimp. Place has good Chinese food, but customer service needs some work. The lady that take your order seems mad all the time; as if she hates working there. I asked for my meal to be spicy....she, "ONE DOLLAR MORE!" Or ask for carrots in my Mongolian beef-ONE DOLLAR MORE! I was dining in and tables were dirty, so I asked for a wet napkin to wipe it down....she gives my ONE napkin. WhenI got my Mongolian beef, it was more like Mongolian carrots. The food was okay, pretty average for Chinese food. The food was cooked to order so I appreciated that, otherwise the taste was alright. Not the best in Chinese food that I've had, but better than the fast food at other chinese places where your food sits on the hot water bath underneath and food dries on top. I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein daily special for $5.25 It came with chow mein and fried rice, a pretty good deal in my opinion. The order was ready in 15 minutes, just like she said. And when I arrived she ran through the order again to make sure it was correct. The place is small and probably family-run. Very good food, very good portions, occasionally bad service. And I only mean that they don't like it you decide to eat in and want to eat from your take-out box. But, I guess it's an appearances quirk even though I don't think anyone cares. The food is of a good quality. This place is our favorite company lunch place. Their lunch special portion is good for one person and their price is awesome! It is around$3.99~$6.99. Above all, the best part is they do delivery! ** Please tip them to show your appreciation ** You need to call at least an hour before to make sure you have your lunch on time. This restaurant is called Lucky Wok but it should be Tasty Wok. The food is delicious. I'm not a big fabn of eating out as much because I'm most often disappointed with the quality of the food. I'm also not a fan of the whole "bandwagon" Chinese fast food chains that have food sitting out in steam pans all day. Lucky Wok is the exception. All the food is fresh and made to order...no steam pans...no heat lamps. Panda Express can't hold a candle to Lucky Wok. This restaurant is one of the gems that make living in Paramount great. The prices are reasonable and the delivery service is an added bonus. The staff is always very friendly and accomodating. My fave is the Shrimp Wonton Soup. It is fabulous. The broth is very light and flavorful...almost like a consomme...and the shrimp is plump and juicy. I love the fact that the orange chicken has real charred orange peel and not orange flavored cornstarch like some others I have tried.
