The physical establishment can use a bit of TLC, but the food was delicious. The place is super small, so I recommend that you take it to go. Ordered delivery yesterday, we had what we normally get 10 items which included 2 orders of egg rolls and 2 orders of spare ribs, house fried rice, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour pork, Fried shrimp (6 small shrimp) and house noodles. The ribs were so small and full of fat, they used to be so good. The broccoli beef and sweet and sour pork were cut into tiny pieces. The fried shrimp was tasty and so were the noodles. The portions were laughable and the rice was hard and old. Our food total came to $112.00 twice the price for half the food & it's no longer good. Oh I forgot I ordered lemon chicken ( 2 thin thin chicken breast breaded and pounded out thinner than my phone with lemon slices on top) $13.39 . The delivery guy just hated life and it sure showed. I stuff the $10 tip back in my pocket and wished him good day. I've been a good costumer for over 10 years. If I pay $112 for 11 items of Chinese food it should be good, and not half full boxes. First off! Thumbs up on that delivery time!!!!! It gave me about an hour estimate before delivery, but the food arrived almost half an hour in. Add to that the food being neatly packaged and well cooked. Big ups for that. As far as my order went: everything was there; no problems with the order at all. I even scored a couple of small sides of white rice that I had no idea were included... Bonus! The one thing that threw me off is I ordered 4 vegetable egg rolls not realizing they come in pairs. Not a problem, because I'll make sure they don't go to waste. Now as far as the taste goes: this is where i'm most critical. I liked the beef chow mein, but the noodles feel a bit plain. Also plain was the fried rice. On the upside, I can tell they don't bombard their food with massive amounts of flavoring like other places, but perhaps a little would go a long way. Their orange chicken is interesting, as they offer various levels of spiciness. Even their mild option is dressed with some mature peppers. It gives it a bitter kick, but I accidentally bit right into one and it threw me off a moment. My favorite dish from the order had to be the walnut shrimp. It's hard to ruin shrimp. These guys definitely know what they're doing in that regard. Second to that is the bunch of egg rolls for which I now need to find a good home. The wrap is slightly thicker than other places, and not as crunchy. But they're delicious. I've just had two as I was typing this. Overall, I was hungry, and now I'm not. I was craving chinese food- well actually fried rice ( with pieces of egg). Since they deliver I called an ordered an few different items. The cashew chicken and beef broccoli are to die for. The fried rice is has flavor and they give you a large portion. This is the only place I go to for chinese food now. so I've learned a few things living in LA (again)...Chinese food is usually pretty goddamned awful. its either loaded with salt or its bland OR my fav...it has so much MSG in it...i'm bloated for 3 days after. not with these guys...its been hit and miss with them I won't lie, but here's the deal... the kung pao chicken is right on... Just ordered delivery for the first time ever (besides pizza) and it was a pleasant experience. The wait said 45 mins it was here in less than 20. I ordered the wonton soup with veggie egg rolls and a side of white rice. Those were the best veggie egg rolls I ever had and the soup was very delicious it had 3 whole shrimp 5 wontons and was chock full of chicken and veggies. The food and service here are really good. I came for lunch with my girlfriend and we each got a lunch special. Our food was hot, fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The only down side is that the inside of the restaurant is ugly and uninviting. The food is so good though that I'm not that worried about the decor. This place has some of the best Chinese food around. Its perfect for families with its large portions. I would strongly recommend the sizzling rice soup with the steamed dumplings. This place was absolutely amazing! I got the wonton soup last night and I was EXTREMELY SATISFIED! I ATE THE WHOLE THING! I love that this place serves the wonton soup without the round white crunchy vegetable. Not sure what that veggie is called but this place didn't have it in their soup. Instead the soup was piping hot when I got it and it was filled to the brim with wontons, chicken, juicy shrimp, broccoli, and I think some kind of leek. But MY OH MY IT WAS DEEEELICOUS! my husband was very satisfied as well. He ordered the chow mein and beef and broccoli plate. The broccoli was cooked perfect. Ordered through Yelp App last week. Called just to make sure they received order and they were very nice. Driver apologized for longer delivery time. So, great customer service. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, Cashew Chicken, and cheese wontons. Kung Pao and Cashew Chicken were very similar tasting, so Next time I would order one or the other. Everything was delivered hot and was very tasty.
