Really cool place me and my friends stopped by for lunch and it wasn't super busy. Got a recommendation from the staff that was pretty good! Noodles were thick and filling and I like how you can pay at the counter so you can leave whenever you're ready. It is a little pricey though but overall a great small business

Came here because of the Matzo Ball Soup Dumpling, so rare to see that! It took a while, not really the expected soup dumpling with matzo ball soup flavor but it's more like a wonton soup in a cup. Flavor was a bit mild but interesting to try.

So my wife found this place and the name alone was intriguing me so we went to try it out, when you walk in you will notice it is a small little place and the menu is on the wall and it is small HOWEVER this was by far the best Ramen bowl I have ever had & the portions were HUGE!!! I had the Miso Soup and Chili Garlic Noodles. I ordered a small Miso Soup and the damn thing was HUGE, it was so delicious and it felt so warming to have something this good. Now let's talk about these noodles, they were very creamy, tasted authentic, all the little onions, the sauce and the noodles themselves just was a great meal and the staff was really great, they made us feel good about being here. this is a great place to have some Ramen.

What a great little (and I mean little) place! When we arrived it was during the noon rush on a Saturday. We lucked up as two spots at the bar and a table for two had just opened up. We were seated in about 2 mins. Food took about 10 mins to arrive at the table and everything was delicious! Portions were very generous, fresh, hot and of great quality. I'm glad we came by this little gem of a spot. Reccommend highly.

Lucky Rabbit is one of the few restaurants in DUMBO that deserves to be charging DUMBO-level prices. Walking in, you won't be impressed with the tiny, cramped, poorly ventilated space. But after you order and your food comes out, you'll be thrilled you came to this closet of culinary greatness. I had the house dumplings to start, and my friend tried the massaman curry dumplings. Both were good, and the massaman curry was really delicious. Very filling starters for sure. But the noodle dishes are the real star of the show here. The garlic noodles were incredible. The noodles themselves were the absolute perfect texture, with just the right amount of chew. So delicious on their own, and then the rest of the dish was a pleasant afterthought. They use dark meat for the chicken, but honestly I would consider getting the dish without any additions next time, because the noodles were just THAT good. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, one of the better meals I've had in DUMBO for sure.

Lucky Rabbit Noodles is the definition of a hidden gem--quite literally a hole-in-the-wall, tucked away but worth every step to find. The space is tiny, almost underground in feel, but the service is so warm and welcoming it balances everything out. Their outdoor seating is a thoughtful touch, especially when the inside gets crowded. Now, the garlic noodles. Thick, chewy strands with a buttery softness that makes every bite feel indulgent. The garlic isn't shy here--it's bold, fragrant, and deeply infused into the sauce. Speaking of the sauce, it clings to the noodles in the best way, rich and flavorful enough to keep me salivating just thinking about it. It's a simple dish, yet executed with such confidence and depth that it makes this spot unforgettable. A small place with big flavor--exactly the kind of spot you want to claim as your own.

We found this spot on some fad list and it did not disappoint. Theres about 6 seats, so go on an off hour or order to go. They have an efficient menu, kitchen and staff and a tiny bathroom too. You can enjoy tasty noodles and dumplings just like us! Great little stop off the beaten path under the bridge! Be wary it is also loud being under the bridge.

As with a lot of shops in NYC, expect a line and expect a small seating arrangement when you're seated indoors. The restaurant is a stone's throw away from the heartbeat of DUMBO, stowed away in an alley-like spot. It's grungy and it's got character, so it adds to the charm as a hole-in-the-wall. In our lineup we had the Matzo Ball Soup Dumpling, Yu Choy, House Dumplings, Send Noods, and Chili-Garlic Noodles. Overall, I didn't mind the flavors, but let me warn you that the chili-garlic noodles are extra spicy. I can tolerate spicy food, but this was not enjoyable. It was all capsaicin. Staff are nice and it was easy going to order. It was a chaotic at times when the DoorDashers, patrons paying the check, and patrons ordering all converged at the cash register.

Went to lucky rabbit noodles and tried a Thai tea, truffle gyoza, and garlic chicken noodles. I loved the Thai tea and noodles. if you have random food aversions: just note that the sauce on the gyoza is a harsh grey color and a little off putting to the eyes. The flavor was still good!

I made the trek out to dumbo to check out this hyped spot. The interior is tiny, maybe 10 stools, with a quirky, grungy charm. We were lucky and snagged the last seats on a Monday early evening. Definitely come in small groups or alone due to limited space. I ordered the house special braised beef & noodles and a passion fruit green tea. The dish was actually delicious, but with my total coming out to be $40, it felt overpriced for what I got. tldr; great spot for quick, trendy eats but high price tag. not sure if this is a place i'd go out of my way for.

BOMBBBBBB!!!! I came because when I walked by one night after work, it was packed and the reviews were basically five for me lol. Food is delicious. Everything we have. The ambulance is super tiny super casual fun cute.

Came to Lucky Rabbit at opening (12pm) on Saturday and were the first customers there, but it quickly became filled within the hour. We were told to look at the menu on the wall, pay at the counter, and take a seat anywhere. It was a very casual and small restaurant. It was our first time here, so the staff was very nice and gave recommendations. We ordered: Braised Beef and Noodles ($28) - Noodles were chewy, good amount of meat, and beef was very tender. Great stewed flavor. It did not taste heavy, but there is a decent amount of oil inside. Stir Fry with chicken ($22) - Noodles were chewy. Flavor is on the sweet side. Great portion size, and they did not skimp on the ingredients. Matzo ball soup dumplings ($8) - This is my first time having matzo, so I'm not sure how it's supposed to taste, but I would not consider this a soup dumpling. There is no soup inside, rather it is sitting in soup. There is a good clean flavor, but since it came out after the noodles I feel like the other dishes overpowered it a lot. Recommend you eat this first if you order it. Lychee Lemonade ($6) - This homemade drink was very refreshing in the hot weather. The lychee flavor was prominent and the lemonade was not overpowering at all. FYI they played Pokémon on the TV, which is always fun.

    Alan S.

DUMBO's been lacking for quality eats for as long as I can remember. It's a shame since the vistas from some of these corners could really make for an exceptional dining experience if the food matched up. Perhaps for that reason this quirky small noodle shop has received more hype than it's due. I'm mostly quite humble about my (mediocre) cooking, but I do believe my Taiwanese cold peanut noodles are more compelling than their version. The spicy garlic noodles did deliver the promised punch, but without the accompanying flavor I expected. Ironically, you're more likely to be in luck if you avoid the noodles. A bite of pineapple rice and massaman curry was the best of the evening, and the truffle dumplings were a close second.

The pacing of the meal for the quantity of food received seemed very rushed, and we didn't really have a chance to relax and enjoy any of the courses. However, the quality of the experience was a complete disaster particularly for the price. Clearly, the packed restaurant would disagree, but for the four of us anyway, we would not return. It started with the check in process at what felt like a long hotel front desk with multiple, self important hosts and hostesses overseeing your entrance to the cavernous bar/waiting area. One problem is the noise is so deafening that you can't really hear what they say to you but we check in a few minutes early and waited obediently in the bar area chatting. After about 30 minutes (15 after our reservation time), and watching numerous parties large and small who arrived after us be seated by the hostesses wandering through the dimly lit space who peer quizzically and ask your name, my husband went to ask for an update. (We joked that those vibrating lighted buzzers alerting when your table was ready would have been super helpful, but it was amusing to watch while we waited). It was clear they somehow lost track of us as she had him repeatedly spell our (not unusual) name. Anyway, after that, within 10 minutes after that we were taken downstairs to our seats (but not before standing awkwardly in the large dining area near packed tables waiting while our table was cleaned). Server with a heavy accent was kind and mostly helpful so none of this is on him. The busser who managed to spill half a pitcher of cold water on my husband's back, soaking his shirt and jacket and barely apologizing, is a whole other story. We managed to get a glass of his mediocre Cabernet comped for the experience. If I sound annoyed, I guess I still am. I had high hopes for a fun and tasty experience in a cool part of the city and it just wasn't.

For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich, which was different in the best way and extremely delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the cone "buns" were perfection. Overall, this place is gorgeous and the food matches. I would definitely return. The service was also great, the perfect balance of letting you do your own thing and truly enjoy your evening while still checking in. It is pricey. We had three of the hot apps, Foie gras, lobster shumai with caviar and morel mushroom with spinach crystal dumplings. After that we're deciding between the quail and beef tenderloin wok dishes. Since the quail was spicy went with tenderloin which came with small serving of rice. All the food was great. I felt the crystal dumpling needed a kicked and they brought Out there house soy and hot vinegar sauce. For drinks I tried there mix of a classic martini with an old fashioned and after discussions with there somm who nicely recommended a more affordable bottle that would meet our needs got the Chardonnay by glass as a bottle. Enjoyed the meal though likely spent 5 times what usually spend on Chinese place mainly due to cost of alcohol. Place is well designed with a look similar to Butter downtown with the arched ceiling mixed with with the sound dampening feature of similar design of bar Boulod. Will return to try the quail and the lobster spring rolls and if they keep to this standard will increase rating to 5.
