$5.99 Burger + Fries with your Station Casinos Passport
Chad C.

After spotting those eye-catching billboards all over town, my wife and I decided to check out our nearest Station Casino and see what the $5.99 burger-and-fries deal was really about. As always, the entrance to Red Rock has that distinctive smell--I'm guessing it's some kind of air freshener or sanitizer trying to mask cigarette smoke. It doesn't bother me, but my wife isn't a fan. We waited just a few minutes before asking the hostess about the special. She explained it's available all day, every day, as long as at least one person in the party has a Station Casino Boarding Pass (their players' card). Only one card is needed. We were seated quickly and greeted almost immediately. Already knowing what we wanted, we ordered two of the $6.00 burgers and two waters. Our waitress smiled and gently corrected us: "They're actually $5.99." We had a good laugh about that. The food arrived in about 15 minutes, and we were pleasantly surprised. The burger was a solid, classic size--not huge, but definitely enough for a satisfying meal--and the fries were generous. It came dressed with mayonnaise, fresh lettuce, and tomato, plus a small side of pickles and a cup of ketchup. It's not the best burger in town by any means, but it's genuinely good--maybe even great--when you factor in the $5.99 price. I'd happily order it again if the mood struck, though next time I might try a different Station property just to see if there's any variation. Overall, solid value and a fun, no-fuss meal. Worth the trip if you're nearby and craving something quick and cheap.

Late night eats! always ask for the LATE NIGHT MENU! Sometimes the servers wont have it but you can always check the menu online. Please also show your players card to get that price! $5.99 burgers and $9.99 Steak and Eggs! Not bad. Cafe located inside Red Rock Casino!

Seriously, everything about this place was fantastic. The vibe was so chill, and the food? Absolutely incredible. You *have* to try their yogurt bowl; it's seriously out of this world! And don't even get me started on the turkey burger, it was so good. Plus, the prices are totally reasonable for the quality you get. If your a sweet freakx your in the right place!! Sweets are to die for!!

Caught a ride to Vegas with some friends from my old job. We stopped at the Red Rock so they could check in first and drop their luggage. I thought I'd buy lunch since they wouldn't let me fill up the SUV with gas. I wasn't really hungry so I ordered the fruit plate which was really good. A generous portion of pineapple, bananas, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries, and blueberries with a side of plain yogurt. One of the few times I've eaten healthy in Vegas. There was a 20 minute wait for a table so we had time to play a bit before they called to notify us a table was available. Service was good. They took our order promptly and the food came quickly. 2 of our party ordered the breakfast combo but were disappointed with the sausage which was mixed with apple and they were expecting regular sausage that isn't sweet. Other than that, everything was fine. I'd be willing to come back and try some other items on the menu.

What a joke!

It was an off time at 2pm so I chose Lucky Penny for breakfast. The hostess told me I had to give her my name and number and they'll text me in about 20 minutes when a table is ready (Party of 1). So I sat in a chair by the video poker facing the hostess. I received a text letting me know that they'll let me know when my table is ready. 10 minutes later they had a changing of the hostess/hostess. I then watched a new host seat over 6 different parties of 1person, 2ppl, 4ppl,etc. I walked over and asked the host if all these people had a reservation? He said no, they were just taking people in line. I explained to him what happened and showed him my confirmation from the hostess 15 minutes ago to wait... and so he the sat me at a table near their counter. 20 more minutes later I was finally able to get someone's attention for a cup of coffee! They were serving people all around me with no one checking my table or making any eye contact with me. I was finally able to order and received my breakfast about 30 minutes after being seated. My fruit bowl contained old brown pineapple & Watermelon that tasted as if it was sitting out for days. The rest of my breakfast was good. I received my check and was told I just pay at my table and someone will be back. AGAIN almost 15 minutes before I could get anyone's attention to pick up my cash to pay my bill. I've been eating at Lucky Penny on and off for many years and this was by far the worst, most frustrating, experience I've ever had here. 2 hours of my afternoon for a 'quick' breakfast?

Stopped by Lucky Penny around 2am on a Monday for their late night specials and ordered the $9.99 steak and eggs. The place wasn't packed at all but I still waited almost half an hour for my order, which felt a bit long considering it was a single plate and I was dining solo. And my server seemed a little dismissive when he asked if I really didn't want anything else from the regular menu. I got the vibe that he was expecting every customer to spend more? I asked for the steak medium rare but it came out looking more like rare, especially on one side. At that point, I didn't have the energy to bring it up so I just ate what I could and headed out. I also asked for lemons for my water and had to ask three times before they were finally brought out and that was only after my food had already arrived. I'll probably come back another time to try other items on the menu and hopefully have a different server. Late night spots are hit or miss and this visit leaned more toward miss for me.

Went back to my favorite place for Prime Rib and Baked potatoes . The Service was excellent he was a Tall Latin man . We forgot to get his name, a second time! I believe this is the best 24/7 place in town ! Always fast , fresh, and friendly ! The atmosphere is well maintained and tranquil .

Red Rock casino is by far one of my favorite locals joints there is, especially living close by you can't beat all the deals they have. My husband came in on a Friday afternoon after some gambling and absolutely had to take advantage of the $5.99 cheeseburger and fries (you can claim the deal with a players card). We promptly received our food and DEVOURED it. The portion was generous and the meal was delicious. This will definitely be on rotation for good cheap meals while out! Keep it up with the locals specials they are great

Deuces Wild Breakfast (late night $4.99)

A 24/7 place in Red Rock, when you're not craving anything specific, Lucky Penny is a good pitstop especially for their late night specials which start at 11pm. You can get pancakes for $3.99 up to Steak and Eggs for $9.99. They also have a Cheeseburger special as well. I was craving breakfast on this particular night - 11:30pm. Upon being seated, the server was there quickly to get our drink and food order. We were between the Deuces Wild and Steak and Eggs. The server honestly told us that while the steak is good (6 oz) just be mindful that it's $9.99 so set expectations accordingly. With that - we understood and opted for the Deuces Wild. You can choose between bacon and sausage and we opted for bacon. The food came out very quickly - as expected for not being a busy time. The eggs were perfectly over easy, the hash browns fluffy and good. The bacon was just OK - it could have been a little more done in my opinion. The only kicker is I asked for my rye toast dry and it came out slathered and dripping in butter. I didn't see anyone to flag down at the time so I just dealt with it. I do like that they have marble rye, but again, it was dripping in butter - which I wanted the toast dry anyhow. I ate only a half-slice - the one with the least amount of butter and left the rest.

The jelly came in little dishes.

Came by for a late-night snack/midnight breakfast at 11:30 pm. They weren't very busy, and we were seated right away. They have a limited late-night menu, but it fits the purpose we were looking for. Our service was terrific, and the staff were super friendly. She came and took our order. Unfortunately, the food took what felt like forever to arrive. I was joking; they had to run to Denny's to get it. It finally came and met our expectations. The jelly came in little dishes, which was a fun touch. I also give them kudos for having sausage patties, which I prefer over links. Otherwise, the food was as expected for a late-night diner. On the way out, I had to test their maple bars, which were in the case at the store entrance, and it did NOT disappoint! In fact, it was an excellent maple bar. I actually thought about getting one of their cinnamon rolls, but I'll save that for another trip.

Lucky Penny located in Red Rock stopped for a breakfast bite always friendly staff and great breakfast in a great environment.

Cheeseburger

Located in the red rock Casino. We stopped by the Lucky penny for lunch as we noticed the $5.99 burger fry combo advertised everywhere in the casino. You will not find this on the menu and you do need to ask your server and provide your player card. Our server was very upbeat and friendly. She offered us a large portion burger for just a couple dollars more. We stuck to the basics and were impressed by the quality and taste. A great burger. It was also served with a side of mayo, ketchup, as well as a little cup of pickle chips. You also have your choice of a long list of many cheeses for the burger. We ordered soft drinks, which they carry Pepsi products. These are five dollars each so they will make your combo price a little higher, but certainly worth it as they were very quick to provide refills.

We grabbed breakfast here and yes it's a simple place inside a casino but gotta say it was pretty darn good: wife got eggs and toast and it was well made, Greek yogurt and granola was very good!

Avocado toast with poached eggs.

Lucky Penny at Red Rock Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Lucky Penny at Red Rock

I saw on the website you have grave yard specials.. are kids allowed during this time? The South Point is only 21 over and I just want to treat my 15 year old to steak and eggs during Spring Break! 😂

Kids can come any time because it's not inside of the gaming area and the seating isn't at the bar.

Do they still have graveyard specials after midnight?

No. They no longer have the graveyard specials.

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

Our server very graciously had a second plate served up with more of a grill to the oyster which we appreciated. The rest of the dishes were delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert, but would definitely be back because the options were inventive and looked so tasty. A doughnut bread pudding, a bourbon brownie; yes to both please!

Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. Reservation made for 2:30pm made it at 2:00pm just now have wings no fries and my cousin still doesn't have her food at 3:40....and to Christopher I've read your replies and you're disgusting!!! So let me help you with your response...I'm NOT broke, I DON'T need anyone to sponsor or fund my activities when I'm on vacation...DO BETTER!!! However the lemon pepper wings and fries (second request first were cold) tasted delicious. Therapy has potential if the customer service from Chris was better and food arrived in a timely manner. Also witnessed multiple tables abandon their orders due to excessive wait time however ALL the staff is amazing!! Update: actually met Chris after our food came and he is a complete jerk in person too. Drugs are bad people! Save your money and eat elsewhere I will never support this establishment again.
