    Mochi nut donut
    Brian H.

I have seen the light, and it is deep-fried. Nestled in Burien's downtown, this unassuming donut sanctuary has been serving up sugary enlightenment for over two decades. The counter guy--friendly and efficient, like he's got a sixth sense for sugar-deprived souls--hands over a box that should probably come with a warning label. It took me 3 years to match schedules but I finally got in! First up: a mochi nut donut, so chewy and perfect it makes me question every basic cake donut I've ever tolerated. Then, a bear claw the size of a toddler's face, its buttery layers whispering sweet nothings to my arteries. Finally, an absurdly flaky, cinnamon-covered creation that crumbled like my willpower. The coffee? Hot. The vibes? Chill. The regret? Nonexistent.

I wanted a cronut and apparently they only have those certain days. Regardless, they had a good selection of everything else that morn. We grabbed a variety of cake and raised. Both types were soft and fresh. The consistency of the icing was a bit different on the cakes, but the taste was good and not overly sweet. We definitely enjoyed them. (Fair prices, cordial service, large parking lot)

    Just some of their selection!

The best hole-in-the-wall donut shop in town! Haha.. get it? ;-) I have been coming here since my toddler days! 22 years later and I still stop in when I am within the vicinity. Since I first started coming here, the original owners have retired but passed the business to someone else in the family and have kept the amazing recipes. I am SO glad nothing has changed! The service is always so genuine, wholesome and leaves me feeling so happy. Plus, it is Asian-owned and I love supporting my Asian community. You can also sit inside which is what I always did/do with my mom and Grandma. There is one "donut" chair that has been there forever and I always sit in it. To be honest, I actualy am not a big donut person but I absolutely LOVE Lucky Donuts! They are the most light and fluffy donuts I have ever had and nothing I have tried compares. The perfect amount of sweetness, not greasy, and just perfect in every way. If you stop in, you NEED to try their maple bars! I took all they had left today because they are just that good. While you're there, try a classic sugar donut! And a chocolate custard filled! And.. just do yourself a favor and get a dozen! I hope you enjoy this business as much as me and my family does. Thank you, Lucky Donuts, for being the best!

The best donuts in the Tukwila/Burien area by far. They are so fluffy and mouthwatering. Just perfection!

I am thinking about these donuts 3 days later at 1:27qm. Please go support this local business. Idk what's sweeter, the donuts or the service. Both were delish.

Staff is not very friendly nothing special about the donuts good location but they're slow behind the counter and donuts are just basic I would suggest going elsewhere especially when there's several other bakeries in the area customer service is all thumbs down

I got here at 11 and there was a line if 10 people with every table full. The line doe move quick, but be prepared to eat outside (or take it to go) during peak times. I got the smashwich and fruity pebbles rice krispy. We also got the matcha shokupan donut to share. Everything was excellent. The house made sausage patty on the smashwich complemented the whole sandwich well; it was crispy, fatty with amazing flavor. Pro tip if you have the passport app you can save 20% off! Only downside - I think their space is somewhat awkward for seating and overall flow. However they are doing what they can with what they have so it's not a knock on them per se, just putting it out there that the flow is a little off especially when busy.

The biscuit was good but I wish they gave you the option to warm it up. The rice krispie s'mores was not too sweet and the density was just right. I wish they did smaller sizes so you could try the different flavors or a smaller option. The brown butter bourbon latte had just the right amount of carmely, richness to it. I wish the service was more consistent. The first cashier seemed upset and wasn't very friendly. The second when I ordered coffee was much more pleasant.

Fluffy Donuts - A Sweet Neighborhood Treat…read more 9823 15th Ave SW Seattle, WA 98106 (White Center) My first experience with Fluffy Donuts was back in July when I celebrated my 65th birthday. Since then, my grandbaby and I have made a little tradition of ordering treats through DoorDash every now and then -- just because. Today happened to be one of those days when I felt like having something sweet. Here's what I ordered: * Strawberry Croffle - $9.50 * Blueberry Cake Donut - $3.00 * Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwich - $12.50 I honestly don't know what my grandbaby ordered this time -- that's part of the fun when we do our little treat deliveries. The first thing I ate was the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich, and let me tell you... it was amazing. Warm, buttery, and satisfying. I was wiping my hands between bites and licking my fingers -- it was that good. Later, while I was working on one of my blog posts, I enjoyed the blueberry cake donut, which made for a perfect afternoon treat. Then later in the evening, while relaxing and listening to an audiobook, I saved the best for last -- the Strawberry Croffle. A croffle (croissant waffle) topped with fluffy cream, sliced strawberries, and powdered sugar. Sweet, soft, and absolutely delicious. I believe strongly in supporting small neighborhood businesses, especially the ones that bring a smile to both my face and my taste buds -- and Fluffy Donuts definitely does that. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the White Center area, or ordering through DoorDash if you want a sweet treat delivered to your door. I know I'll be continuing to support them -- both in person and through delivery. 9 Flava Snaps -- Lady Flava LadyFlavaNews Review
