My favorite combo if they have both flavors when I go is the Banana Pudding which they're known for and the chocolate PB swirl. Their ice cream flavors are fun and always delicious and creamy, but what I really love the most is their customer service you feel right at home like a long time friend

Can't say enough about how cute and cozy this place is. There is seating outside as well as the options to play corn hole! On to the ice cream !! I had two scoops Pistachio Sundae and Banana pudding. The pistachio was a dream. Fudge ribbons with a more than generous heap of pistachios. My personal favorite flavor of ice cream and Creamy Cone absolutely knocked this out of the park. The banana pudding was enough to bring this Kentucky native to tears. Pure excellence. Real Nilla wafers and real banana flavor. Absolutely top tier. They also have a large selection of toppings and multiple cone options. Such a sweet moment to end the day. The server was knowledgeable, kind, and quick on the draw with offering samples of flavors you're curious about! Support local Black Business!!! Yall made a forever customer today. Thank you!

Aiiiite, some things to note about this place when dining in for some delicious Vietnamese food:…read more 1. Cash Only - When you first come in, there are signs posted around the restaurant with the cash only sign. If you don't have any, Bank of America is only a few minutes away by walking. 2. Parking - Around the busy plaza, there's 2 free lots. One on the side (gets super packed since it's shared by multiple businesses) and there's a back lot (park with caution in the evening). 3. Limited Menu - This place specializes in a few Viet dishes. So don't be surprised if it doesn't have the typical pho / broken rice / banh mi options. Instead, specialty of this place is more on the egg and rice noodle soup, the sizzling beef platter or the beef stew. 4. Limited Take Out - Depending on how busy this place gets, most of the time, there will be no option to do take out/ to go orders. Best to dine in if you want to eat here. 5. Food - I tried all the food options here and top 2 favorites are the Bo Ne (sizzling steak plate) and the hu tieu mi ñam vang (dry version with a bowl of soup on the side). Both are solid and always so yummy and consistent. 6. Service - Hit or miss... if you really need something during the busy lunch hour, it's best to either wave your arms crazily in the air for attention or simply walk up to the register and tell the staff what you need. When settling the bill, just head to the register and let the cashier know what table you're sitting at. Overall, solid place to eat (with the hole in the wall kind of vibes) but just know there are some small quirks to it ahead of time so you won't be unpleasantly surprised.

If i can give this place a zero star I will. First of all…read morethey don't accept cards, ONLY CASH. And no to-go.Keep that in mind. I thought they have the atm in the store that's why I went there. but apparently when we ask the owner about the atm she talked to me like I'm bothering her or sth. Walk away while telling me the atm is not in the restaurant and tell me to go to the bank outside. After had lunch here my friend and me feel extra thirsty and have some headache. Usually that the sign that we eat too much MSG. So this is first and last time. NEVER COMING BACK!

Finally got a spot at this super chill restaurant in Othello. Took a couple times to get in because…read morethe other times the chef said she was cooking for a wedding. Not a bad idea to call ahead of time, but no reservations needed or possible. We went on a Saturday night and my boyfriend spontaneously ordered some meat and veggie with injera...it was absolutely delicious! We weren't really sure what to expect, however, because they didn't have any menus. They did have a sick Eritrean music video lineup though. The lighting was reddish and the place had a nice ambiance with local Eritreans drinking beer in the back outside the restaurant. If you like a little adventure, you will not be disappointed by Momona (misspelled on Yelp). It's also the only Eritrean restaurant in Seattle, according to its staff.

My second visit was a COLOSSAL disappointment. I discovered Momona Cafe & Restaraunt last year at…read morethe Plate of Nations and was HUGELY impressed by the service, the amazing Ethiopian food, and the amount of food being served at a remarkably inexpensive price. The owner was quite happy to explain the dishes and was just a delight to chat with. She made the visit to Momona my favorite stop on the Plate of Nations list. My second visit was anything but impressive. Flies buzzing in numbers, they had to be fended off while dining, service had to be prompted numerous times to action to perform basic common tasks, couldn't answer any questions, serving dishes were dirty, the restaurant appeared to be very poorly kept both inside and out. The server didnt know how to ring me up: i was charged 2 additional times on my credit card & ultimately had to pay cash (now I have to come back to the restaurant to resolve their billing mistake). TRULY disappointed! I was hoping to make visits to Momona a regular periodic occurrence. Overall score: 2.5 / 5.0
