We got the banh uot tower with heo quay, banh khot, banh mi chao, and com tam. I see the appeal of the eye catching banh uot tower, but unfortunately I felt like it was very mediocre. I felt like the portion of veggie and meat wasn't enough for all the rice rolls, plus the actual heo quay was dry with barely any crispy skin. I think they also forgot to give us the heo quay because we had to ask for it much after the banh uot came out. I would skip this next time. I would also skip the banh khot as it was on the softer, chewier side when my personal preference is light and crispy. Those who do like it soft will definitely enjoy it though. As for flavor, it had an extremely prominent coconut taste- it usually isn't so strong in banh khot so I wasn't so fond of this. My family did really enjoy the com tam and banh mi chao. I only had one bite of each, but I would get these items again. Their drinks on the other hand, were delightful. I got the tamarind black tea and my step dad got the lychee green tea. Both were super refreshing and even addicting. I think they tend to do sweet items better, including their rice crispy treats that they sell on the front counter. Service: (4/5) The service here didn't really stand out much but I didn't pay much mind to it. They were very nice but there was a sense of disorganization, mostly due to us not being acknowledged when we first walked in and having some of our food forgotten about.

We had to struggle to get the staff's attention whenever we needed something for the table, so that's definitely a one-star experience for me. Fortunately, the ambiance was great. It's a very nicely decorated place, so I guess they have that going for them. Will I be coming back? For the coffee, yes. For the food, no. For the service, absolutely not. It rests on a bed of ham and is topped with a generous pat of butter and a poached egg. On the side is honey hot sauce. My first attempt at eating this, I dipped the cake into the hot sauce - that was way too much. Then, I made the perfect bite with all the components and added a little of the hot sauce. That was an awesome combination that was really unexpected. Breakfast sandwich with bacon - This is simple, but executed well. Crisp bacon, nicely fried egg, and melted cheese on a soft kaiser bun. Parking - Around the busy plaza, there's 2 free lots. One on the side (gets super packed since it's shared by multiple businesses) and there's a back lot (park with caution in the evening). 3. Limited Menu - This place specializes in a few Viet dishes. So don't be surprised if it doesn't have the typical pho / broken rice / banh mi options. Instead, specialty of this place is more on the egg and rice noodle soup, the sizzling beef platter or the beef stew. 4. Limited Take Out - Depending on how busy this place gets, most of the time, there will be no option to do take out/ to go orders. Best to dine in if you want to eat here. 5. Food - I tried all the food options here and top 2 favorites are the Bo Ne (sizzling steak plate) and the hu tieu mi ñam vang (dry version with a bowl of soup on the side). Both are solid and always so yummy and consistent. 6. Service - Hit or miss... if you really need something during the busy lunch hour, it's best to either wave your arms crazily in the air for attention or simply walk up to the register and tell the staff what you need. Tea comes complimentary and service is speedy. Bo Kho (4.5/5): Insanely tender braised beef rib served in an uber savory broth and thinly sliced onions to break through the richness. Bread is fresh with the lightest crunchy crust on the outside, but fluffier than a typical French baguette. A must get for sure. Hu Tieu (4.5/5): See my last review, but will be one of the best bowls of soup noodles in your life. Super chewy noodles, savory but light broth, and an assortment of pork cuts and shrimp.
