    Insane, best donuts in Seattle

Absolute perfection. Delicate flavor. Crispy fried exterior, fluffy and soft interior. Incredible donut!

I think what this place does is it's made to order so each donut is fresh. Any you can enjoy them to their full potential. Pairs well with a hot brewed coffee. Always have creative, cravable, flavor combinations. Only issue I've experienced with the traveling food truck location is that one of the donuts I received was slightly under fried. It was edible but the inner texture was somewhat doughy. Regardless the satisfaction of the flavors were enough to tip the scales for me to overlook it. None were overly too sweet or overly tart. Please go out and support them.

I'm not usually a huge donut person, but 9th and Hennepin won me over. We caught the food truck at Chuck's Hop Shop on a sunny Saturday afternoon and ordered all four donuts on the rotating menu: a chocolate cake donut with coffee glaze, a brioche filled with Santa Rosa plum jam and vanilla bean, an apple & fig fritter with cinnamon-orange glaze, and a buttermilk whole wheat donut topped with honey glaze. Each one was made fresh to order by the owner, Justin, and served hot -- which I think made all the difference. The brioche and buttermilk donuts were my favorites, but honestly, every donut had great flavor and wasn't overly sweet. If you spot this truck, don't hesitate -- grab them all and thank yourself later!

Delicious. Order ahead. Easy pickup. I would recommend you pick up as soon as they are ready and eat them. They are hot and amazing. Had the pumpkin braid and the brioche with pear. They are doughy and the flavors are spot on. Not overly sweet or artificial. I can't wait to try again!

Hot and fresh donuts, what could be better??!?!? We caught the truck at urban family on Sunday morning and hot donuts were being fried up right before our eyes. There was a steady flow of people ordering and picking up. We put in a quick order, originally planning to just get two donuts, but three of them sounded too good to resist. Lots of seating out in Urban Family's patio and a lively atmosphere of people getting coffee and hanging out. Called back to pay after a few minutes. It's a one man operation in there, so he had his own flow going. Within 10 minutes we had hot and fresh donuts and they were scrumptious! Each super unique using fresh and local ingredients, the strawberry glaze was bright and fresh, peach filling the brioche tasty, and the whole berries in the fritter were delightful. Definitely will be coming back for more!

Happened upon this place by luck while showing out of town friends around. We were a little confused because we didn't realize it was just a window butttttt once we figured it out, we ordered a donut off each flavor and wow were they delicious! They are fried as you order so sometimes if they have a line it online orders it can take a few minutes but it is so worth it. The donuts remind me of like the old school donut shops back in California with cake donuts, just with really interesting and unexpected flavors. I've been three times now which doesn't seem like a lot but I've made the drive just for these and I live over an hour away lol. They're delicious, give them a try!

The food truck came to our office building, and I never seen a donut food truck before, and decided to check it out because I saw that they always had interesting and unique flavors. There were three different flavors to choose from. I was shocked to see that they were only $3.50 each, especially coming from a food truck. I decided to try just one, and got the Sherry Vinegar Pear Fritter with Blueberry Glaze. He actually fried the donut and glazed it there; I thought they would just have it all ready to go. The donut was nice and fresh. The texture was really good. All the donuts came with glaze, so I was worried they'd be too sweet, but no, this donut with the blueberry glaze was not too sweet at all. It was so tasty. That one donut made me wanting to try more flavors. I hope the food truck comes around again.

I'm still a fan of 9th & Hennepin! Recently caught them on a Sunday at Urban Family Brewing and am so glad they are in the northern part of Seattle (at least for now) at this location on Sundays! Delridge was hard for me to get to so I'm happy that I can enjoy these donuts more often. If you come to the truck at Urban Family Brewing, I recommend coming on the earlier side -- the shift is 8-12 and I came around 11:45 or so and was too late as they were sold out! Love the rotating menu each week. Flavors continue to be unique and delicious as well as seasonal. I recently enjoyed a blueberry sour cream cake donut with fresh hops glaze - yum! Soo good. Pricing is definitely fair/reasonable! My only minor complaint is that sometimes the donuts can be pretty greasy but nothing beats a donut fresh out of the fryer :)

The best donuts in all of Washington state (i didn't try any other donuts) If I'm correct this is run by one guy who rotates 4 flavors of donuts every week. We went to their ghost kitchen (?) on the weekend to pick up a full set of donuts ($12 for 4) and they make them fresh for every single order. Piping hot donuts hit like no other in seattle. Then a few days later they were selling donuts in a food truck at a brewery (with 2 new flavors) so we went and got a full set again with. I wish this existed in calfornia

Hot fresh donuts from a ghost kitchen window in Delridge on Sunday morning. Very easy online ordering - we ordered in advance for a 15 minute window. We were early and they made our donuts as soon as we arrived, so there was a very short wait. I loved my gluten free poppyseed cake donut with an apricot glaze - it was light, fluffy, and with a perfect balance of delicate crunch and tender chewiness. The best gluten free baked goods are ones that are entirely delicious of their own accord and this donut met the bill. I did not have the remaining three donuts - the french cruller with cinnamon sugar, the blackberry filled brioche donut with the urfa biber glaze, and the Rainier cherry fritter with a white chocolate glaze - but the donut-devouring team that I travel with made very short work of them and pronounced them excellent. Cherry hand pie was also delicious according to the team. Menu changes weekly and they may not always have a gluten free option? I would generally recommend eating these hot - because texture and temperature were fantastic - and conveniently there is a picnic table in front of the ghost kitchen on the sidewalk.

They were open at the Trolstice Festival in Fremont. They had some entering flavors and I had a panettone donut. Donuts were made to order and served hot and delicious.

Food: what's not to love? Hot and fresh donuts made to order, hell yes. My boyfriend ordered them through their app, and schedule it for a pick up. Quick and efficient, perfect for any introvert who panic orders.

Who doesn't love a fresh, warm donut? Not anyone, I say. And if by chance donuts are not your jam, you should definitely pre-order and try 9th & Hennepin because they'll probably change your mind. We've had it on our Yelp hit list for a while, and it didn't disappoint. It's at least a 4 out of 5 star rating and would recommend in a heart beat. The staff was friendly and you can tell by their customer interaction that they have a lot of regulars. Also, they rotate their online menu and I appreciate their unique flavor combinations. We tried the following: -- Ricotta Cake donut with Roasted pears, fresh Thyme sugar -- Espresso flavored cake donuts with spiced condensed milk glaze -- Filled brioche cranberry curd, with apricot ginger glaze -- Honey roasted rhubarb fritter, grand marnier glaze We couldn't eat the donuts right away because we were on our way somewhere. However, I couldn't handle waiting and the amazing smell permeating the car got to me, even to the point where I asked...(maybe demanded)...that we pull over and devour them one by one in front of a random yoga studio. Really like that their donuts aren't too sweet, and they all had nice, subtle flavors. My two repeat donuts would definitely be the honey roasted rhubarb fritter and Ricotta Cake donut with Roasted pears and fresh Thyme sugar. One word: Yum!

And then a coffee doughnut which has coffee-flavored icing. The icing is very sweet and the sugar overpowers the coffee flavor. We decided to drop by after eating lunch in the area for a sweet treat afterwards, then ended up picking up a whole dozen... Some notes for a couple that I tried: Maple Bar ($4.99) - Hmm.. Not that fluffy or light. Instead or being airy, it's more dense and has a kind of springy chew. The glaze is sweet and gives off a heavy maple fragrance, an indication they use real maple syrup in the glaze. Maple bars from other places are usually disgustingly sweet with basically no maple flavor - this one is sweet but more well balanced. I think the texture is definitely different from a typical yeast donut. I wonder if it's just because it more difficult to make vegan yeast donuts vs cake donuts? It's a different type of yeast donut, but still very good. (4/5) Chocolate Peanut Butter ($4.45) - Good peanut butter flavor in both the topping and glaze. I think the donut base is also peanut butter but it could be contamination from the glaze. The base isn't very sweet and is kind of almost savory in flavor. The donut is dense but not crumbly and instead very moist. Not really crusty, so not too much textural difference. I think it's baked rather than fried. Still very sweet. (4/5) Devils Playground ($4.45) - The donut base is dense with rich chocolate flavor, and coated with a chocolate ganache of just the right thickness. I hate it when donuts just have a smear of topping to make the donut look attractive, but does barely anything flavor wise. This one, on the other hand, is richly flavored. (4/5) Chocolate Raspberry ($3.65) - This is my favorite, same chocolate cake donut base as above but with bright berry notes and specks of seeds. The tangy berries do wonders to temper down some of the sweetness. (5/5) French Toast ($3.65) - My least favorite by far. Covered with peanuts (which is fine), but the cake donut base or perhaps the glaze tastes heavily earthy, like an overload of cinnamon and nutmeg. (2/5) People who expect the exact same texture as a non-vegan donut, both the cake and yeast types, will probably be disappointed. If I just think of these donuts as their own thing, they're actually quite good. There's another donut shop that I prefer down the street, but Mighty-O Donuts certainly isn't a bad choice for a sweet treat.

The store is really cute with lots of mochi donuts on the wall and a pink aesthetic that is perfect for friend hangouts or dates. I got the chizu matcha latte with stir fried boba, which came out to almost $9 total. Bold of them to charge a convenience fee on top of sales tax to make the drink super expensive. I opted for 50% sugar and there is absolutely no option to request less ice. A supposedly regular had to verbally flag to the worker to not add ice, which I probably should do, but at least please add it as an option so that it is more convenient. I guess they want to cut costs and give us less drink? For 50% sugar, I don't think they respected the customizations as I saw the worker just pour premade matcha latte to the cup and then added the cheese foam on top. When I tasted my drink, it was grossly sweet. Boba was undercooked so I ended up having to toss a lot of the boba out, and the boba was not cheap at $0.95 for the topping. Fortunately, when I got my drink, they had a few mochi donut circles I got to sample, and I am glad they sold out of the mochi donuts as the mochi donuts did not have the chewy texture that is present in mochi donuts.
