Stepped into Lucky Buns DC recently (I have not been here for several months) and wow, what a meal! I went for the classic combo - a patty melt and fries - and both were absolutely on fire. The patty melt was perfectly cooked, juicy, and hit all the right spots, and those fries were crisp, seasoned just right, and seriously addictive. Service was great. Young bartender Noah with braids held it down. Young man was raised right! Go Commanders lol. Go Wizards! Restaurant was comfy, dark and chill. Inside and outside dining options. The mosquitoes aren't out yet so enjoy the patio. But honestly, the real star of the show, the one that truly stole my heart and taste buds, was the Antigua Bound drink. It was so good I had to get it twice! Seriously, this drink is a game-changer. It's got that perfect balance of refreshing and delicious that just makes you want to savor every sip. You know a drink is special when it outshines a stellar patty melt and fries, and the Antigua Bound definitely did that. Do yourself a favor and get to Lucky Buns DC (18th Street location) for some amazing food, and whatever you do, do NOT leave without trying the Antigua Bound. You'll thank me later! You're welcome!

Awesome chicken sandwiches and burgers at one of my favorite spots in admo. My favorite is hot tiger chicken sandwich so crispy and we'll seasoned its hot but well paired and cool with the veggies. The bogan bun with big assortment of toppings like bacon jam and others. Was savory and sweet. Have to get an order of fries and delicious with either cajun or curry both are excellent this time we got curry. Has a big patio and inside seating. It has divy look that is perfect for when you want a burger. Service was very friendly and nice.

My wife and I stopped here on our way out of town this past weekend and had a great experience. Everything from the food to the service was perfect. I went with the Bogan bun, which is essentially a smash burger, with their burger sauce, however on this one they also put on a bacon jam. The burger was perfect and ever bite had so much flavor. The buns they use are fluffy and delicious. They are perfect for holding together all the toppings and the juicy burger patties. I had the Cajun fries as my side and highly recommend them. They come with a vinegar aioli that went perfect with them. I usually go with ranch for my fries, but the vinegar aioli was such a unique sauce that I used more of that than I did their ranch. The ranch was good, but super dilly. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely be stopping back the next time we are in D.C.

Lucky We Stopped Food We got an order of the queso fries and the Lucky and Bogan Bun burgers. The fries were awesome and very unique. Very upscale feel. The burgers were very good great combination of flavors. Service Waiter was very nice and attentive. 5 star service. Ambiance Had a trendy vibe. Greta place to go with friends or a date. Summary We stopped on a whim but turned out to be a lucky decision as we had a great meal.

It's a chill and casual place to have lunch. Everything was decent and exactly what you're looking for in a burger and chicken sandwich place. Would 100% recommend getting a burger over a chicken sandwich, just stronger flavors and a better melding on components in my opinion! Only get fries if you like steak fries, I thought the malt mayo was interesting but not my taste.

The melt my firend ordered.

It was pretty cold the night me and some friends decided to go see a show. Lucky Buns was down the street. They had good reviews so it was a easy choice. Once inside it was nice and warm. We were greeted right away and seated. The server took our drink orders after he had explained all of their options. The lighting was low but not dark. The place has a laid back vibe to it. After our drinks came me and the guys were ready to order. Our server answered some questions and helped recommend a few items on the menu for us. I ordered and the Choppped Cheese and my one friend ordered the melt. My other 2 friends ordered the OG burger. The come came out pretty quick. I was so hungry after a long day and forgot to get enough pictures. The crew was very satisfied. The pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a try. They also have chicken options. I will be going back.

My husband and I came here on a Sunday evening and we did not wait long to be seated, we were meeting two other people who had not arrived yet and they did not mind seating us without them. The food was SO good! The burgers/sandwiches do not automatically come with fries, however, it is incredibly worth it to order them. We ordered a patty melt, a burger, an order of their cheese fries & a drink. My husband is not a cheese fries person usually but said that these were the best cheese fries he's ever had and later said this was his favorite place we ate on the whole trip! The drink was also tasty and strong! Would absolutely recommend!

Great dining experience overall! The server was really nice, and the food came out really quickly, even though it was pretty busy. The burger was one of the best I've ever had. I got it with a side of queso and it was delicious. The ranch with the Cajun fries was also amazing.

Crunchy chicken sandwich

These sandwiches won't fit in your mouth, they are too big. But with the juicy, crunchy chicken, it's worth trying. Not the neatest, I ended up with shretruce all over me but I didn't care. Service was on target. Food came quickly. Drinks were creative but small. Nice vibe with options and spaces to match your mood.

A classic millennial-run, overpriced burger place with uncomfortable chairs where they try and sell you on "vibes."

Cocktails have become trendy and mostly a lazy combination of a spirit, simple syrup and a fancy-sounding ingredient. Not here. Each combination is crafted and tastes delicious. One sign of a good cocktail to me is that it has balanced flavors that somehow combine well together to create complexity that works. It did here. Our bartender was knowledgeable and guided me well after I shared my preferred spirit and flavor profile. The martini I had was off-menu and well prepared. Nostalgia for days of yore when only a handful of places in NYC were known for "cocktails" - not every happy hour menu in town. We did get the happy hour pricing ($12/drink) and yes, 20% gratuity was included. The service was stellar so I would've done that anyways and had no problem with it being mandatory. I will add - someone complained about the incense smells and when I first walked in, it did smell odd. Over time, I saw our bartender switch it out and the second fragrance was more inviting.

Our server was new and very helpful. The space is tight in there so walking back to our table was a bit of a challenge trying not to hit someone while they were taking a drink, but the energy is high and lively! We ordered cocktails to start, and there were so many interesting choices that it was a difficult choice. We all thought we got the best one! Every dish was fresh, flavorful and fire! The scallion lamb was tender and savory. The crab fried rice was total comfort food and I could eat this every day! All those flavors! The dish that stole the show; however, was the eggplant! Wow! What a wonderful surprise. Hot, fresh and full of flavor, the eggplant was perfectly cooked and we couldn't stop talking about it long after we left!

Advice: sitting outside might be better in the cooler weather because we were being eaten alive by mosquitoes and fighting off flies. I really hope that they consider some type of nature oils near the tables to help guests feel more comfortable outdoors. Also, it would help to get more than one fan. Hospitality: aside from the bugs encounter, I would say that we did not have reservations (they were packed inside) so the hostess was nice enough to accommodate us outdoor. Our waiter, Anthony was a ball of energy and he really understands the dishes and was able to give great recommendations, some of which we plan to try on our next visit. Portions: the dishes are shareable so we only ordered the beef noodles and walnut shrimp and both were more than enough for a party of 2. DRINKS: I ordered the dark and stormy which can best be described as not too sweet and perfect for anyone desiring a well balanced drink. The bourbon smash was also really good. Well balanced with a smoky flavor which I loved. FOOD: Beef noodles- gosh this was so divine! Be warned however, there is a bit of spice to it but nothing that you won't be able to handle. I think the spices paired with the preparation of the noodles and the beef all made this dish memorable. Walnut shrimp- another memorable dish which came with a side of white rice. The shrimps were HUGE! But the flavors on each shrimp paired with that crunchy texture and creamy sauce, spectacular! Safe to say that we enjoyed both dishes and cannot wait to return and reserve indoor tables lol

For context, my last visit to DC in my teens, I was looking to view DC, in a new light, as an adult. Entering Jane Jane somehow felt like home. The intimate, inclusive, dimly lit bar, decorated to feel both modern and vintage reminded me of my favorite spot in Houston, Nobies. While Nobies offers great food, Jane Jane kills it with their cocktails...and the complimentary bowl of cheese its...perfect bar food I guess? Their legend's menu is just that. Although I came in anticipating ordering one drink, that one turned into two after trying the "A La Playa". I'm not sure I'd sip it on the beach, but the sweet, slightly Smokey, fruity concoctions now lives on my list of favorites drinks. It has the perfect balance of flavors. While a $17 cocktail is not an everyday outing (for me atleast), their drinks are strong, and legends worth trying. The shenanigans on 14th are just a welcome bonus.

There was a folded standing menu on the bar and the first item there said the frozen pina colada was a special for the month so I was happy they still had it. What I got wasn't frozen and tasted awful, then I noticed another person at the bar with a frozen drink and looked up the picture on tiktok and saw that my drink was indeed in the wrong cup. So I asked the bartender (maybe I forgot to say frozen) if this was a regular pina colada and he said "no you ordered drink name xyz" with mezcal (which is why it tasted bad to me) I said no I didn't, I ordered the pina colada and he proceeded to argue with me with an attitude. I can't make up a drink name for something I don't know exists because I never looked at the flat menus he handed me. I had to take one star off because that just killed the vibe.
