    Lucky B's outside patio/bar

First time here and loved it. Quiet Friday afternoon so the place wasn't crowded, but I liked the local day drinkers at the bar(s) and the laid back atmosphere. The new(er) outdoor dining room and bar is fantastic. I chose to eat al fresco and that was a perfect choice. My Smash Burger was a delicious, juicy, two handed treat and the accompanying seasoned fries were da' bomb! Since it was my birthday, I treated myself to a lunchtime Long Island Iced Tea, which was served "properly" in a TALL glass! I highly recommend this "old standard" hangout turned NEW. I'm guessing Thursday Bike nights, with a Corona bucket special, is a crowded fun time. I'll be back!!

Food was very good, including the fries. Prices were about the going rate. Bar area was very noisy.

The pizza is the best in the latrobe area. IF you are in the latrobe area and want a good pizza go here.

Our aunt mentioned Carmine's Pizza & Pasta so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed. We later realized it was the day of the St. Patrick's Day parade so many people seemed to stop by afterwards. We noticed a lot of tables enjoying pizza but since we had just had pizza the day before, we decided to try some other dishes. We started with the Fried Cheese "Formaggio Fritto". The menu mentioned that it was made with aged provolone which is why we ordered it but it tasted more like mozzarella to us. Because of that, it wasn't quite what we expected. I ordered the Lump Crab Fettuccine with marinara sauce. The marinara was sweeter than I personally prefer and I didn't notice much crab flavor in the dish. My husband tried one of the polenta dishes since we don't often see polenta offered at Italian restaurants. We originally thought the polenta itself would be baked but it seemed that only the top was baked. We prefer polenta that's crispy on the outside so it wasn't exactly what we had in mind. The sauce on top was also on the sweeter side, though it paired better with the polenta. One thing we have to mention is the portion sizes. They were incredibly generous! My husband ended up getting about four meals out of his polenta dish. We also ordered tiramisu to go which was sweeter than we prefer but enjoyable with a nice espresso flavor. I almost feel bad writing this review because the staff were extremely nice and friendly. Overall, I think the flavors just didn't quite match our personal taste but we appreciated the great service and generous portions.

It is so terrible that it actually became comical. I wanted to visit Falbo's because I remembered eating there as a child in the 1980's. I was excited to eat there when I was visiting Latrobe. I now live 1500 miles from there. It began when we walked in and we were told that we could sit anywhere. I saw a 6 top table in the corner. Before sitting there I asked if it was ok since we were only a party of 2. The waitress said, "you can sit anywhere except the top level." That was fine. So we sat at the 6 top table since it was on the lower level. We sat for about 10 min without any acknowledgment from the waitstaff. Then, another waitress said, "you are going to have to move because this is a reserved table." I told her we had already asked about sitting there and had received permission. She said we could absolutely not sit there because it was reserved for reservations. We got up and moved to another table. More than an hour later when we were finished and leaving, not one person had ever sat at that table. The waitress was rude and absolutely made it that I will never return. Picture of the "reserved" table is attached. Waitstaff is very inattentive. We waited long periods of time for drinks. We ordered a Chianti and then were told that they didn't have Chianti but had something "similar." I asked what the wine they had was. They didn't know. The pasta is cheap and the sauce is relatively tasteless. I would give FALBO'S a hard pass. Average food at best and terrible service.
