    Burnt white pizza

Got a takeout white pizza $25.00. Should have looked at it before I left. Trusted that they wouldn't put a pizza in a box that looks like this. Whole thing is burnt.

It's been quite a while since we've been here. Tonight was by accident and so glad we decided to give it try. We were in town for the Night Market, except that it was last week! So we decided to go to dinner. We've done our usual Greensburg favorites for Thai and Mediterranean so tonight we went for Italian. As soon as we parked we noticed the difference. Lots of parking which was not the case years ago. Also a very nice exterior makeover caught my eye. Entering the restaurant I noticed it also had undergone an interior update since I was last there. We were greeted promptly and seated even though we had no reservation. It was around 5:15 on a Thursday. Our waitress was Sam and she could not have been nicer. She took care of us very well from the water glasses to the final bill, everything was done quickly and efficiently. Now the food...what a great menu! I had a hard time deciding but ended up ordering something I would not usually make for us at home. I had the Veal Piccata. My daughter ordered gnocchi with sausage sauce. They both were prepared very well. The veal was tender and her gnocchi were soft and plump. The entrees came with soup or side salad. I ordered my salad with dry blue cheese on the side. Had I known it already came with cheese, I would not have asked for more! The bread tray was amazing! The dipping oil was really good with a bit of Parmesan cheese shredded into it. I could have made a meal on that bread! My cocktail was on the menu billed as the "best dirty martini in Westmoreland County" so I had to order that to see if they deserved those bragging rights. It was pretty darn good, served with three hand stuffed blue cheese olives. I should have asked what brand of vodka they used...it maybe could have been better with a smoother vodka, but still one of the best around. No room for desserts, but they did sound tempting. I need to come back to explore more menu items and maybe try a dessert next time.

Food was amazing and the service was excellent! The bread and dipping oil was to die for!

It was a late dinner we were expecting the staff to be less than steller, but to our pleasant surprise, our witness was extremely accommodating and the food superb. Everything we ordered was tasty and generous in portion. We brought a dish and left overs home that was promptly devoured by family that stayed home. We will be back. Oh, the appetizers did not have a chance to get their pictures taken. We were too hungry!

    Disappointing and cold...

Went for dinner. Food was mediocre. Menu prices were quite high. Dinner for 2 with tip was over $100. Cannot recommend this restaurant.

Pizza was not so good. Wouldn't order it again. Chicken Marsala was average. Sauce was in the sweet side. Overall, meh.

Busy intersection, no windows, and a front door that doesn't work... but don't let that fool you. Entering through the patio entrance, the outdoor seating is an oasis somehow perfectly separated from the busyness just beyond the sidewalk. We opted to sit inside on a humid day.. simple but fitting! The menu is only tapas, but the small plates don't contain small flavors!! We love to split tapas with friends, so we ordered a table load and went all in. We selected: - Street Corn Dip - no notes. Gooey, well seasoned, and plenty of fresh corn! Abundance of chips, more than enough! - Bruschetta Flatbread - every available inch covered in fresh tomato, lacking in the balsamic glaze, but still a fresh, refreshing bite. Honestly, this is a huge tapas, 8 pieces and easily a meal on its own - Headkeeper Toothpicks - THESE ARE THE SHOWSTOPPER!! Clever concept, perfectly executed! Crispy tortilla wraps loaded with chicken, peppers, onions, and gouda. And DOUBLE dips!! - Banh Mi Eggrolls - large tapa with a big eggroll for all four of us. Crammed full of toppings and well seasoned - Balsamic Marinated Grilled Vegetables - great variety, one of each veggie, but a little too much oily sauce (Pro Tip - we cut these up and put them on top of the bruschetta - perfectly paired!!) - Cauliflower - large portion, almost half of a head of cauliflower, dripping with truffle oil, but soooo tender to eat - Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes - only 2, but packed with crab and delicious sweet-chili & coconut-lime sauce! - Lo Mein Bowl - another tapa that could be a full meal, tender beef, but the seasoning was just off for us And of course... DESSERT! Thankful to go on a double date where one from each couple wants to split desserts too. Why not try the best part of the menu too? Vanilla Crème Brulee - a perfect sweet blend of vanilla and custard with a scrumptious layer of brûlée Strawberry Scooter Crunch Cheesecake - decadent swirls of strawberry through the cheesecake and a crisp layer of scooter crunch all over Tell you what! The sauces and pairings show how ingenious this culinary team is... and looking at reviews, the menu rotates and I'll have to try some of the fun items that I've seen from other seasons!

However, on a Sunday night when it is only the second place in the area that is open prior to a show at The Palace Theatre, if the aforementioned things do not bother you and you're just looking for a quick bite and a drink, then this is a place for you. From the outside, if you're not a local, it looks like one of those places you might be afraid to open the door to ... but do not be deterred. Inside it is a little dark and obviously it'll be smoky if people are smoking (thankfully they were not the night that I stopped in), but everyone was friendly. And actually they had more things on the finger food menu than I anticipated, albeit your classic bar finger foods like pepperoni rolls, provolone sticks & what I ordered-fish & chips. And honestly, the fish and chips were a lot better than I expected them to be, it was a very large piece of fried fish, and it was not too greasy and a nice side of steak fries. Their cocktail sauce was more like a Sriracha mayo type cocktail sauce, but I actually preferred that to the traditional and I got some tartar sauce on the side as well. I did feel bad for the female bartender, because she was staffing the entire place, which not only included the bar, but the tables, and it was very hard for her to keep up. Obviously management failed to realize that there was a sold out show at the theater on Sunday night and that hardly any other places were open Sunday night. I had 3 Tito's & sodas and the fish & chips & my tab was only $24. I left a generous tip because I felt bad for the bartender. I would definitely stop in again especially if I was just gonna grab a pre-show drink. Oh & the music was great too. Reminded me of a true late 70's-80's bar.
