We haven't been to Persichetti's in years. Glad we went back. Older place but really nice and comfortable. The place was packed on Friday night so make a reservation for sure. We got the chicken piccata and shrimp scampi. Both come with two sides. My husband got the shrimp over pasta since it doesn't normally come with it. We were both very happy with our dinners. The salad was fresh and mashed potatoes...YUM! If there were an award for best waitress, Lindsey would win. She was amazing! Even though it was super busy, she made sure to check on us often and made it the best experience! We had a visit from another woman and a man to check on our satisfaction with the food also. Great place, great staff and great experience. We will be back to try other things on the menu. read more

Came in for lunch with my mom--already a win because, you know, Italian moms don't mess around with subpar food--and we ended up running into some friends, which turned our casual meal into a surprise reunion. Nothing like good gossip over even better sandwiches. Speaking of the sandwiches: amazing. Like, "can I get another one to-go and pretend it's for someone else" amazing. And the drinks? Let's just say whoever was behind the bar knows what they're doing--no sad, watery cocktails here. The staff is fantastic. This was my first time going to Persichetti's restaurant. Food was was very good. I just had spaghetti and meatballs and a zucchini appetizer. I sat on a small table by the bar. The bartender was very nice and friendly. Got me a beer. My only disappointment here was they were out of Yingling, but I tried a specialty brand that was very good also. I was shocked by this Italian restaurant's food. The meal was a take out. The Wedding Soup was so so. The sample plate was awful. The tomato stuff that was over the items didn't stick to any of the pasta. The inside of the ravioli was good. The pasta itself was gummy and disgusting. The same for the gnocchi! The spaghetti was way overcooked and like I had already said the tomato stuff on top didn't stick to any of the pasta. It wasn't like any sauce I have ever had. Never again. read more

I was wandering around Jeanette doing some photography when I saw this tall, nicely painted building. Upon learning it was a restaurant, I quickly checked the menu online and headed inside. The most important thing, is that it is really clean, both inside and out. Table tops and booth seats are clean with no sticky feeling. Even the restroom smelled good and was spotless. The ambiance is nice inside. Dim lighting and well shaded from the glare of the sun outside from the awnings. It is also a very spacious restaurant with several large rooms and a separate bar. The staff was AMAZING. Fast, friendly service and it is old-school service (even though some of the staff is quite young) meaning you don't have to ask for refills or extra napkins. It is all anticipated and done for you. Before I tell you about the good food there is something that I think is the most important of all. Especially in today's economy, their prices are FAIR. Some places gouge you on fresh side salads and drinks. I think an unsweetened iced-tea that is $3.00+ is ridiculous. That is what sets Persicehetti's apart... As corny as it sounds, I was so happy to see that non-alcoholic beverages were reasonably priced, as was the rest of the food on the menu. I cannot believe I had a side salad, fries, club sandwich and a drink for less than $20!!! This alone will make me come back. They aren't price gouging you like many other places. OK, so how was the food? I a word, delicious. The salad was lettuce, carrots, diced beets, onions, tomatoes and olives. A generous portion of well-made fries and the club sandwich was perfect. Crispy bacon, crisp, fresh lettuce and ripe red tomato. Plenty of turkey. All on toasted bread. I can recommend Persichetti's without hesitation. Good food, nice, clean atmosphere, excellent service, and fair pricing. If you are anywhere nearby, give them a try. They were a very welcome surprise for me. read more

We went here for dinner on NYE with the family and ordered quite a few different things! The calamari was fresh and hot when we received it and the fried pepper jack cheese and pepperoni was great! Who knew? Friend pepperoni!? Got our salads and the house Italian and each dressings were delicious, plus I'm a sucker for anyone that puts beets on a salad. Plus those side salads are pretty big! I got the crabcake special and the crab cakes were nice and full of crab meat. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't switch to Alfredo sauce with the ravioli, but it was still good! I got the gnocchi as a side for my crab cakes and I requested it with an oil or butter sauce, just something lighter.. when it was brought to me it had a clump of butter on it and the server said let me put that in the microwave so the butter melts... I didn't love that, as no one wants to hear their food is getting microwaved... But the deserts were delicious! We did a tiramisu, the lemon cream cake, and peanut butter pie, and all 3 were super yummy and the ideal comfort food when finishing up an Italian meal! We decided to try this restaurant tonight. The service was good but they were out of bread sticks so we got bread. There was a knat crawling all over the bread throughout our meal- of course we didn't eat any. The shrimp and scallops that I ordered were over cooked. My husband got crab stuffed cod. What a super hidden gem! We stayed at Hampton Inn in Stanton PA. Found this restaurant on Yelp. It's not around the corner but definitely worth the drive. I think it would have only been 20 min away but we missed a turn. The staff was great and very pleasant. We sat in the wine cellar in a tucked away booth with my daughter in law and grandson. Plenty of room. We had the bruschetta for an appetizer, salad and pizza. Everything tasted great. The owner came and checked on us (Jim) and then upon asking a few questions took an amazing amount of time talking with my grandson about some up coming decisions he is in the middle of making. We are so thankful for the time Jim spent even though he was busy. Definitely would go back when traveling again may even make it a destination when traveling through Indiana and Deleware. read more

Went here last night for a pre Valentine's Day dinner with my wife and had a wonderful time, first of all the server was fantastic, very attentive and very kind. Second i got the appetizer of the mozzarella sticks, these were made from scratch and were gooey goodness not the frozen or average ones you get sometimes at restaraunts... for dinner my wife got the homemade spaghetti and meatballs and the spaghetti and homemade meatballs are delicious. Myself i got my usual the chicken parm, when i first got my dish the chicken was lukewarm and chewey and tasted like microwaved leftovers, idk what happened but my meal was instantly replaced with. Hot and fresh dish... mistakes happen but when they fix the mistake quickly i appreciate that... will be back!!! read more

Enjoyed a late lunch. It was surprisingly busy for a mid-afternoon. Nonetheless the service was swift and efficient. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The prices were more than reasonable. We had Fettucini alfredo with shrimp, gnocchi with meat sauce, breaded zucchini with spaghetti, and fried fish sandwich with fries. All of that set us back less than $40! Finally tried this place a few weeks ago after years of living so close. We are fools for missing out for so long. We have been back multiple times now. The food has been excellent. The Alfredo and wedding soup were excellent. The open faced steak was a nice change. When you get takeout the bartender checks every container to your order in front of you to ensure it is right. Food very good, Was seated very quickly and food was very good. Service was like being waited on by a newby ditz. Food was served and she disappeared for 15 to 20 minutes. When she returned to see if we wanted desert or the bill I asked her what kind of Italian restaurant doesn't provide parm or some kind of cheese for their Italian dishes and she says oh I was just so busy I never think of that. other servers were providing cheese to their guests with all Italian dishes. She just seemed like a ditz who was just sort of doing a job. The dining room was very clean and organized. One person in our party said the chicken Marsala was very good and super tender. I don't usually think of Jeanette as a food lover's paradise, but after having dinner at Persichetti's Restaurant I've changed my mind. First, the staff could not have been nicer. Our waitress was very sweet, attentive and willing to please. I love pasta carbonara but it's not easy to find at local restaurants. When I saw it on the menu I could not wait to order. I also chose a salad with their housemade Italian dressing-which I could just drink. All along our young waitress supplied and resupplied fresh Italian bread and refilled our drinks. Others in our party ordered a variety of dinner items like the tour of Italy, chicken Marsala, a poached chicken and another carbonara. Not everyone was pleased - the poached chicken was a little dry. They offered to replace it, but our friend passed. They were happy to remove the item from the bill. However the pastas and the chicken Marsala were hits. I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

Love Persichetti's. I especially love listening to the many ways people pronounce it when they state that they are going there to eat or they have been there to eat. Regardless of whichever way one pronounces it's name, you still end up having great tasting Italian food. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portions that they serve. Their sauce is consistently fresh tasting and flavorful. They definitely follow a recipe because I have never known it to vary in taste. They have weekday and weekend specials that keep their regular customers routinely coming back. Even their wait staff are long established and have probably worked there for over 15 years or better. The menu features pasta, seafood and chicken dishes. They serve various types of pizza, sandwiches, soups and salads. They are able to accommodate small groups for private dining and they also have a separate bar area in addition to the regular dining room. I love supporting local business owners and will continue to be one of their regular customers who keep coming in for a great meal and friendly service. read more
