This may have been the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant!! The chicken alla vodka is hands down the best pasta dish I've ever had and I don't even order it my wife did. There was so much it fed her for 3 days! I had the 2lb lasagna and it was also very good, my only complaint is that i didn't know I could put the vodka sauce on the lasagna! More like 3.5 stars. This is one of those places that is always packed so keep that in mind. There are some unique dishes on the menu in addition to standard Italian fare. The interior has an overall modern feel and tables are well spaced out so you don't feel overcrowded. Portions are generally really large (which is great, because food is pretty pricey). I've been able to make two or three meals out of one entree here. Overall, service is pretty good but can be hit or miss. There was one day that I think they must have been having an off night because everyone seemed crazy stressed and very short with us when questions were asked. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the side salad was. It was a great balance/mix of ingredients with delicious dressing. My main entree (Strozzapretti) was tasty but a bit seemed like there was a bit too much grease/oil or something that made the dish seem heavier than it needed to be. We've been here twice already in a one week period. The bar is fun. Our latest meal tonight was Lobster Ravioli and Romano Chicken. Chicken was extremely tender and delicious. I've heard GREAT things about this place, but we came on a Friday evening, and I truly think it was just an off night. I had friends that dined that night as well and they also did not have as good an experience as other visits. We started out with the salad, which probably was the best part! Light, refreshing, and tasty. The French onion soup was overwhelming. It had good flavor, but there was so much onion going on that I don't even think there was any broth to name it a soup. My main dish was the Romano chicken. It was the most bland chicken I've ever tasted, the risotto was par cooked and the sauce was not what I was expecting. Lackluster and watery. My friend got a pasta dish that was seemingly all oil. Overall the food was just average. Our server was nice and attentive, the drink was good, and the space is large and inviting. Gluten free pasta with meat sauce. If you're gluten free and go out to get pasta , you can see the noodles are cooked perfect! I also recommend their salmon. I've eaten here twice. The food is good. The last time I was there it seemed like our waitress forgot about us. I realize every restaurant is short handed these days. A lot of hustling by the workers is unfortunate. I don't hold that against her or the restaurant. My biggest complaint is the lack of signage for the restaurant. Really love the family-friendly vibe here. We were seated at the time of our reservation and the server was quick to take our drink orders. We ordered beans and greens and the fried zucchini appetizer which were both sizable and good. Dinners were eggplant parmigiana; chicken parmigiana; Tortiglioni and meatballs; and vodka cavatelli. Most of us added a side salad for an up charge. The salad was great too but honestly, by the time dinner was served, I was full so I'd not recommend adding the salad. All of us took home the leftover food. A common site you will see is people carrying a large paper bag containing leftovers on their way out after dinner. If you're looking for great food and big portion sizes olives and peppers is the place to go! I got the seafood pasta, when it was time to get a to go container it seemed I barely made a dent. I got 3 meals out of it easily. The hoagies here are huge, the photo does not do it justice. The staff is friendly and attentive here. They have a nice bar area with bar seating and high tops (I personally am I bar area person). Their dining room is large and can accommodate large parties. Ate there for Christmas December 20, 2025. Had 2 prime rib - it was the worst tasting I have ever had. Tasteless except tasted like it had been marinated in Italian dressing or something. Absolutely no rub/crust on edges, that part is weird because the rub is the best part. So tasteless at almost and over $40. It was cold along with the mashed potatoes. Not just barely warm but cold. Sent it back to get heated/microwaved and it took so long everyone was done eating so they had to wait for me. Mashies came back just as cold. Soup very good as usual. Salmon good as always. Sangria's taste like club soda or something, not good either time we have had one. It's hit or miss so we don't go there anymore unless someone gives us a gift card even then we know it will probably not be great. Beautiful place but has food has been too inconsistent for well over a year. Service well you don't get much, I usually have to go find someone after waiting too long. the ambience was normal for dinner and the service was average depending on the server you spoke with. the zucchini platter was very excellent and I sincerely enjoyed it, it was the highlite of the meal. The drinks, bread, butter and salads were below average but edible if your hungry. The pasta was completely over cooked and they said we were getting penne when we got rigatoni, would have been nice to get the pasta we were told and ordered. My wife had the veal and she thought it was good. I had the chicken cutlet Parmesan that was mostly bread and hardly any chicken. The flavor was also subpar and tasted mass produced. The food here is amazing!!!! First time here and had beet salad, roasted garlic and peppers Asiago. Both were outstanding!!! Our mains were steak Gorgonzola and the traditional calzone. The steak Gorgonzola was loaded with everything and delicious but the next time I'd order it with half the Gorgonzola cheese and it would be on point. The calzone was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, provolone, and ricotta and was the best I've ever had hands down!!! Out of two visits here, both have been outstanding. I reviewed it last year after having a luncheon during the holidays. I ate here again during the holidays this year, but had dinner this time. The menu was limited for the last two weeks of December, but everything on it was appealing to me. Having not had many vegetables lately, I opted for the steak salad. It came piled high with a nice assortment of greens, olives, cherry tomatoes, a hard boiled egg, cucumber, red onion, two different cheeses plus French fries and of course, a very tender steak. The dressing I chose was balsamic which was delicious . It was so huge I ate half and took home the other half and had it for lunch the next day. If I hadn't ordered wedding soup to go along with the salad, I might have eaten it all in one sitting. But I HAD to have that wedding soup again. I remembered how good it was last year. Truly the best I've ever eaten in a restaurant. I was so busy talking to my friends and I started eating without taking any photos, but trust me, this place has delicious food and lots of it! My friends all were raving about the place, as they had never been here before. They thanked me for suggesting this as our meeting place for our holiday get together. They all ordered the Basil Pesto Ravioli. They too took half home. My one friend said she had to make herself stop eating it because she was so full but wanted to eat more because it was so good! I know the feeling! Not only is the food good, the cocktails were also very good. I had a pomegranate mule and my friends had the Italian Margarita. We all really enjoyed them. The servicer was friendly and attentive and our food came out in a timely manner even though the place was packed full. We had reservations and I highly recommend doing that. My only negative comment is that there were no paper towels in the ladies room. I told a busboy about it as I was returning to my table and she offered me some napkins. I said, "no thanks, I used toilet paper, but you might want to get some paper towels in there ". Ten minutes later when one of my friends went, there still weren't any paper towels.
