We ordered Dom's take out for my father-in-law's birthday. We got a large cheese and a medium pepperoni and mushroom. The pizza was definitely decent. The crust is fairly thin and it had a coal fired taste to it. We did not go in so I have no idea what the place is like. They delivered to Monroeville which was good. read more

Okay I've been looking for a good new pizza Place relatively close to me and this is right by my work so it's perfect for a after work pickup... many places that were my go to have went down hill so i was looking for the perfect place... i found it... so first of all they got this little gimmick where if u order online u get a free order of (3) breadsticks which were delicious think Olive Garden but better. Two thumbs up for the car ride home snack... okay now the pie, the pizza, the Italian treat... this pizza is so good it's the perfect combination of sweet and zesty, first of all the sauce is good isn't overly sweet but isn't overly acidic which i like this is the perfect balance, the cheese is good exactly what u want isn't no cheap garbage cheese either, they have the cupped pepperoni which is my fav and they also have amazing sausage... some pizza places have little ground up sausage that's more grease than flavor and isn't enough meat to actually chew on, it's like sausage bits which i hate but this place has big chucky chunks of delicious sausage... anyways this is gonna be my new go to pizza place... i hope they keep their quality because it is quality... and other places have gotten the big X from me as they aren't good anymore this is The Pizza to get read more

They make small mistakes sometimes (like giving grilled chicken in a crispy chicken salad) but the food is really REALLY good. It's also very affordable and the delivery always comes piping hot and quick. If you order online you can get a free item! I absolutely recommend this place. read more

Stopped in tonight for some dinner. Food was good, but was surprised when the bill came. When I asked, the waitress said the prices on their menu are old. They are still waiting for their new menus. They could at least tell you when they give you the menu that the prices are not accurate. In their down time, they could white-out the prices and write the new ones in. I had the pleasure of trying Dom's Pizzeria's Food Truck and no doubt now one of my favorite food trucks! Probably wouldn't ever patronize the restaurant since Trafford is a bit far for me. I like the variety of the food truck menu. Fried Dough, to French fries, steak hoagie and of course pizza!!! I was torn on what to order and had a peek at what others were ordering and everything looked delicious. I went with the "pepperoni pizza". I am a fan of the smaller size pepperoni.. you get more flavor with each bite. The sauce was flavorful and just right - the garlic flavor was there but not too overpowering. I am pretty much a fan! ! My best friend and I were on our way to Cleveland for Memorial Day weekend and were starving as we approached the Pittsburgh Pa area. Ron's was the 2nd or 3rd pizza spot that came up in the search results. The reviews were great so we decided to give it a try. And we were happy that we did! By far, the best pizza I have ever had in my life. We got the pepperoni and sausage, yum! I highly recommend this establishment if you are in the area. My sons have been ordering takeout pizza from here for a while and I popped in with 3 friends to watch some soccer on TV and Dom was very accomodating-got the first and second games on the TV of our choice. Rather large ravioli; wonder if this is something they do actually make homemade besides the subs, pizza, pannini's? Very good, and one meatball was enough with bread, wedding soup and the rolls I had with it! Some things they make here, I do actually enjoy! I spilled some of the sauce before I even got it home though; so added some jar pizza sauce to the ravioli! Overall, this was a good and filling meal for the price! Food is okay but I ordered on their app a pizza, half mushrooms and half sausage. When I got it, they clearly had given me cuts from 2 or 3 pies put together rather than making me the pizza I ordered. And it was the second time! So weird! Also, salads are super-small. We purchased a Groupon for Dom's after hearing a ton of excellent reviews. We stopped in on a Friday evening and it seemed relatively busy. The server was friendly but we had to ask for drink refills a few times and only received napkins and silverware after I asked for it. My husband really liked the steak calzone, the pizza we ordered was nothing special. Upon receiving our check I showed the server my groupon but his still proceeded to run my credit card for the full amount instead of deducting the Groupon. He did fix the situation immediately after I pointed it out I just found it odd that in the 30 seconds it took to walk over to cash us out he forgot about the Groupon that he just processed on my phone as being used. Mistakes happen and we'd be willing to go again...just not for pizza. read more

Gotta say, had the food truck pizza, ordered ahead, and came out piping hot with a ton of flavor. One of, if not the best pizza on the east side of town! The staff working the truck had great attitudes and genuinely seemed to enjoy doing it. The pizza came out within 10 minutes and tasted great. Last time we ordered for pick-up we were told that the prices online wouldn't be honored on their website because they "Weren't responsible for what's on there". Not sure who IS responsible then. Second time, dined in. Ordered a large white pizza with no tomatoes. Pizza came and we were informed by the waitress that they did make it with tomatoes because she didn't know tomatoes came on a white pizza and she hoped that it was ok... and that was that. Still will order because the pizza is too good to miss, if it's made correct, that is. Bread sticks are a hot with us as well. read more

First time ordering from here and I was disappointed. I loved my Italian hoagie but the pizza was burnt. My son wouldn't eat it. My husband had two pieces and stated that it tasted burnt. Their sausage is tasty and their food is generally good unless you like mushrooms. They only use canned mushrooms which are chewy, soggy, and retain so much liquid that they prevent cheese from properly browning on pizza. Canned mushrooms also make for a bad chewy cheesesteak. Overall great food if you don't like mushrooms unfortunately. read more

My son likes this pizza, and for while he was getting it once a week for about 5 years because my ex-husband's family lives right up the street. Which is why I thought of this particular establishment when I was planning a graduation party for my daughter, being held one block away from this pizza shop, at the local fire hall. I had called on a Tuesday and inquired about food for her party, such as rigatoni and meatballs. I was told by the man who answered the phone to come in the next day during lunch and talk to the owner. I hesitated, as I would've preferred making the arrangements that day being as the party was five days away, but he assured me that the owner would take care of me. I actually stress that before I got off the phone with him, saying I was hoping to figure this out today, that he assured me the owner would help me during the lunch next day. The very next day, I'm armed with my notebook, pen and catering questions and do make sure I'm there at 1pm, just after any possible lunch rush so the owner would not be busy. (I try not to be inconsiderate that way, and not showing up when I know they're going to be busy) We stood there patiently waiting and we approached what could've been the owner sitting alone at the counter, and he had said he would send someone over for us-meanwhile, my ex-husband (my daughter's father) had told him that we probably needed to talk to him instead but he just ignored my ex-husband. So we were slightly taken aback by this but thought maybe he was busy, let it go. He called the server over again, and a few minutes later she was able to "wait on us". I explained that I had called the day before about a party on Sunday, only to find out she couldn't answer any of our basic questions about party trays. She had to keep walking back in the kitchen to ask him about prices, how many servings would a tray hold, etc, but she couldn't answer any questions. He didn't seem to want to be bothered with us, and she had to keep walking back-and-forth. By the third time (!) she had to walk in the kitchen to ask another basic question (in this case, how many servings are in a tray of chicken tenders, but we did find out the price, as helpful as that was). Naturally we became a bit disgusted about wasting our time in driving all the way to Trafford, seemingly for no reason, so when she came back to the counter we thanked her for her time and left. Many arrangements had to be made for this party, and the last thing I felt like doing was wasting an hour of driving back-and-forth for no reason, other than to feel frustrated and find another caterer that is local. After we left, that server caught up to us in the parking lot a minute later and said the owner would meet with us then. For a split second I hesitated, almost wanting to go back in, but then I realized if he didn't care enough about talking with us, when he knew exactly why I was there as he was told explicitly that I had called the prior day about this party (with what I considered to be an important celebration for my daughter who worked so very hard and graduated Cum Laude at Duquesne University for nursing) then how could I possibly trust and rely that the food I requested would be ready in time for her party on Sunday? Very disappointed in wasting my time, as well as turned off by the manager/proprietor's attitude when he could've just told us from the beginning he wasn't interested in doing a graduation party, instead of having us stupidly stand there asking general questions...I'm not sure if I've ever felt so unwanted in any place of business. read more

Been enjoying meeting lunches over the last few months here. Food is good and reasonably priced. Very few customers at that time so it's quiet. Waitress is extremely sweet. We had 11 peeps there recently and the only thing marring our visit and made a bad impression was when the owner criticized the waitress in front of us because of birthday cupcakes. 1: He has no desserts there, and 2: our group surely made him money at lunch that day. read more

The food is decent at best but the service is horrible. When I first started ordering from here there were no problems and everything was done when they told you to be there. Last time when I got my order I had to wait 15 minutes after they told me to be there. Half my order was cold and the other half was under cooked. It's been a few months and I decided to give them another try. I called and ordered and they told me 35 to 40 minutes. So I show up 50 minutes later. They take my payment and then tell me they're just putting my pizza in the oven now. The lady who waited on me just made up one excuse after another while it wasn't her fault. If I would have known it wasn't even started yet when I got there I wouldn't have paid and I would have went somewhere else. My family is at home waiting for me to get back with dinner and now it's going to be another half hour. This will definitely be the last time we ever come to this place. If you like being lied to and waiting beyond what you should to get your food then this is the place for. read more

The last two times I ordered take out the food was discusting; except maybe the soup and fries. Though the wings tasted good, they were too hard and too cooked, down in the greese way too long. They should take the skin off and make with a lught breading; would be like more homemade and be a lot healthier. The zucchini planks also was in the fryer way too long and parts were even burnt. I don't mind spending money for good quality food; in fact that is what I expect from any establishment I am paying for food. If it isn't going to be good quality food and somewhat healthy then I really don't want it. I would have been better eating a bowl of cereal or oatmeal at home. I don't care how tired and hungry I am; I will not order from them again. Ever since they moved to that location where they are now they, tbey went down hill. I am tired of paying for frozen foods that I can buy in a grocery store much cheaper. The only think they actually homemade or fresh make I think are the soups and their pizzas, and maybe some of the pasta dishes. Also, the bread maybe and the pizza dough. Let me start by saying the flavor of the pizza was awesome. Service was decent considering the circumstances . A ufc fight was going on which was a plus. The pizza I got was paper thin which sucked because who likes a piece of pizza that is like a wet piece of paper. Came here today for the first time. Pretty great little spot in the middle of Trafford. I had a burger and fries and they were really good. My wife had a vegetable pizza and really liked it. The interior is very clean and welcoming. Plenty of televisions with sports all over them. Great spot and will definitely be stopping back soon. read more

My experience with Dom's Pizza was a disaster to say the least!!! Service was bad on several occasions. First time we ate in, and there was hardly anyone in the place and the service was slow. Tried to place an order to pick up was told 40-45 minutes, drove twenty minutes to get it and waited 20 minutes for them to say my order would not be ready for another 40 minutes. Called spoke to the manager and all he said was they are busy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Canceled my order and went down the road to Wise Guys and had the best pizza around!!!!!!
