The service was very friendly and good. The food is delicious. There are only plastic utensils on the table, but when we requested a real knife for this calzone, we got it quickly. It's a nice laid-back atmosphere. They have a pretty large beee draft selection and always have a rotating Arsenal Cider on tap, which I love.

Used to come to caliente often prepandemic for wings and the beer selection especially. First time since the pandemic and first time at the relatively new crafton location near where I work. $16 all you can eat wings on Tuesdays and $4 Great Lakes cans. Each day there is a special of some kind. The cool runnings sauce was exactly how I remembered it. The cry to mommy ghost pepper was sadly more mellow than I recall. Always compared the aroma to a stuffed pepper and heat that made you struggle a bit. This was way more mellow than I recall. Overall positive experience and attentive bartenders. Beer lineup was solid and offer flights which I appreciate.

First time coming in! Immediately greeted & sat, service was great! Restaurant had bar with big beer selection, large TV's- only negative to the atmosphere was the tables were a little too close together. Need a little more space between customers for privacy & space. For the food, definitely a 5/5! Ordered a large pepperoni pizza & the 10 bone in honey siracha wings. Both were big portions, served very hot, and tasted amazing! Ranch was delicious as well! Overall great experience and amazing food!

Holy moly our pizza was huge! We wanted something a little different from our norm so we landed on the Grandma Sunseri. Our server was so kind as to customize half of the pizza so that I didn't have to pick off the black olives. There was a good crunch to the crust and the toppings complimented the pie wonderfully. We both ordered beers from quite a larger selection of both draft and cans/bottles (mine wasn't one that I was crazy about....but that's no fault of the Draft House). We love the location in Robinson as it is easy to stop in on our way home from the burg, and we always get seats at the bar immediately.

Having just arrived (flight was delayed) and staying at a hotel in the area, I came here on a Sunday night for dinner... There was only one other patron in the joint when I got there, about an hour before they closed. I sat at the bar and the bartender was helpful and friendly and explained the menu nicely... he also checked on me during my stay. The food was awesome! I really liked the fries that came with Cajun seasoning and ranch on them... I got a side of their extremely hot sauce, called "Cry to Mama" and that stuff was VERY HOTTTT!!!! But it wasn't just straight, silly heat, like so many other hot things, it had a very nice, smokey flavor to it too! I am glad I got it on the side though, as I was able to dip my fries in it, rather than deal with having it on all my fries (Tip: Get it on the side!!). I also ordered their Luca Brasi pizza, as I wanted a little flavor and spice for my pizza. I had been to a Caliente (the one in Sewickley) before, but had a sub, so I never had tried their pizza and I wanted to give it a try. I have to say that the toppings, sauce, and assembly was great... The only issue was the crust was too thick for a hand-tossed-style pizza. They could have knocked off a ¼" of that crust and the ratio of toppings to crust would have been so much better. Overall - Highly recommend stopping in to a Caliente! This is my second visit to one of their joints and I really liked both!

Food 5 stars. Ambiance 1 Asked to sit at table, was an issue, so sat at bar. Courtesy is to give a napkin. I don't want to open a plastic set to eat in. Also WTF do you have Styrofoam containers? Absolute cancer to the environment. Now I'm stuck with them. Loud bartender and coworker who sat at the bar the entire time and never stopped talking. I've never heard more "tripping balls" than hanging out w my bf and his friends. Maybe this is "the karening" of me, but I LITERALLY had to leave to have a moment without that nonstop voice!!! Yeah, I had a long couple Days working a similar job, and wanted to come out and relax. But the nonstop inescapable musings of the wisdom of someone who sounds like Pamela Anderson, I just could not. If you're not seating people, and a mature couple comes in, chill on the loud bat stories maybe? Nobody is impressed. Did I just become ancient? Bonus, thanks for the 2 free Long Islands for my partner!!

The fresh cut fries are absolutely perfect and the Brooklyn pepperoni pizza makes me weak in the knees!!!!!!

We ordered for pickup and it was ready in about 20 minutes! Started off with the garlic parm fries but disappointingly they lacked the garlic. The fries were fresh cut and delicious. We HAD to get the meemaw based on the description alone but unfortunately we were underwhelmed by the flavor. It boasted of "a five-day, fermented pan dough. Topped it with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil, 3-year-old aged Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and rapini, which is a green grown in Italy. It's cooked with onions, shallots, pepper bacon and crushed plum tomatoes. Then it's topped with porchetta, which is made in Italy. I sliced that and put it on the pan pizza then I topped it with shaved parmesan, a little bit of black pecorino, truffle cheese." All of those wonderful cheeses, truffle cheese, flavorful porchetta just fell short. We'll definitely try again and hopefully the flavor will be worth the price

Very disappointed. $65 for a pizza and 10 wings. The pizza had all kind of extra junk on it and the wings were undercooked.

Great pizza and a solid beer list. The bartender was knowledgeable about the beers, which is important for a place serving craft beer.

Always packed, always impressive array of beer (one of the best breweries in region, IMO), and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The site is so vast, there's never a shortage of seating, you just need to do a little bit of exploration to find a spot, but there's fun in that. Still trying to get to the upper command level - might need to head there during non-peak hours. Oh, I forgot to mention that each day/week there are a handful of beers and drinks that are super reasonably discounted - incredibly appreciated in the economic hellscape that is 2025.

The Millvale location is amazing, so I had to go check out the newish Grist House Command. First off, awesome spot. Absolutely massive. Great views, plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. I liked the double bar set up, made grabbing a beer decently speedy. Beers were tasty as always, huge selection to choose from. One of the few Pittsburgh breweries that have a solid sour selection. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely terrible (details below): - Fresh Tortilla Chips: looks like a 10 year old sprinkled cheddar cheese over a pile of chips and microwaved it for a minute. This entire dish was a massive greasy congealed mess. The fact that they even serve this makes no sense. - Big Pretzel: the pretzel itself was actually really tasty, but the beer cheese was nasty. Terrible texture and extremely grainy. Tastes like someone dumped saw dust into this. Please find a new beer cheese recipe. - Command Style Dog: honestly not bad.... was it worth $7.50? Absolutely not. - Millvale Style Dog: has potential, but the chili is odd. The bun was mush before I even took my first bite. Overall, I'd give this place a 5/5 if it weren't for the food. I absolutely love Grist House, but someone needs to come in and fix the food menu asap.

They have also added a small cocktail menu, which is great for those of us who aren't big beer drinkers. I was excited to get the Bee's Knees, a great gin cocktail. What I received was the Beez Kneez (apparently?) ... gin on ice with a lemon slice and a dollop of Sriracha Honey on the lemon that I guess I'm supposed BYO cocktail shaker to? Huge let down, and I became a sticky mess after trying to mix it all up. The daytime bartender saw me struggling with it and didn't offer to help or apologize as I barely drank it. After shift change, service got much better (one of the regular bartenders that stayed on through ownership change). I got one of my favorites from the old menu - Stuffed Banana Pepper Hoagie - and it was spicy and delicious. The server offered to bring extra sauce, which really made the whole sandwich pop. The star kd the show was the greens and beans that you can get as a side (or appetizer). It comes with sausage and is made with kale as the greens. Everything was crispy and flavorful....I want more just typing this! Overall, good experience that will soon turn into great once they work out kinks on cocktail menu and training
