The pizza was crunchy but not stiff, I ordered the Margherita one and it was so good. The pizza was a but oily but that didn't bother me at all. I enjoyed the sauce, basil and cheese quality so much. The portion sizes were perfect. I was not a fan of the salad dressing however as it was too oily. The service and ambiance were good as well; Just an Italian restaurant vibe. They offer a great lunch menu called "Pick Two," where you can choose from a sandwich, personal pan pizza, or pasta (classic spaghetti and meatballs), paired with either soup or salad. There's also a soup-and-salad option if you're looking for something lighter. We have driven past Aviva many many times, but recently heard from our neighbors that this place is one of their favorite Italian restaurants in the area. We took note of that and made it our date night destination. I ordered the penne ala vodka and it was just as I expected it to be. Great flavor, noodles were al dente and the slice of bread on the side was a nice touch. My husband ordered the Aviva pizza and both of us really enjoyed it. It definitely had a little heat, and I am usually a wimp when it comes to heat, but it wasn't too much for me! haha! Came in for date night and couple weeks ago and really enjoyed our meal! We had great service, the restaurant has a nice warm ambiance, and the food was great! The pizza had a little bit of heat, but was still enjoyable and made for great leftovers day two. The penne pasta in vodka sauce was also great and the sauce had a nice rich flavor. Had their food truck pizza at an event and had to come try it out. My personal thought is that it's a little pricey. Albeit so, the food is delicious!!!! The red potatoes were just kinda burned and hard and that's coming from someone who likes crispy potatoes. The pizza was fantastic and my wife loved the penne al vodka. I really enjoyed my chicken parm sandwich the chicken was perfect. The side of sauce to dip it made it even better. We got 3 meals, a pizza, and a qt if soup to go with pop for all 3 of us and it was over $80. Little high but again we really enjoyed the food. Just makes it more of a treat when we can afford it. When we asked to have the product fixed we were told that the oven doesn't get hot enough to cook it properly. Was told my pizza (the most basic of the bunch) would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived 3 minutes early so I could pay ahead of time and hit the road when the pizza was done. My pizza wasn't ready and had to wait for an additional 30 minutes. Other customers stood there waiting. From what I heard them say, this seems to be a regular occurrence. This place has been open for over 12 years and they still can't plan, organize, or schedule. We've been to Aviva a few times and always had pretty good experiences, so maybe last night was a bit of a fluke. I ordered the rustica salad and it was delightful, with diced apples and walnuts. We also ordered the bruschetta, which was kind of dry and definitely needed something. The margaritta pizza was soooooo garlicky that it gave us indigestion. Okay! Haven't been here in a few years, since I haven't been this way in a long time. Was craving Italian and knew I'd been somewhere good before so I did some research and rediscovered Aviva! I walked in and, again the smell is amazing, was greeted by Melanie. She was very pleasant and sat me at a table. I asked about beers they had and she recommended a local IPA - Spot on! When she asked if I was ready to order I said "I'm torn. When I was in before I spoke with Jay and told him how good the chicken parm was and he said "next time try the pizza". I really wanted a meal though". She suggested I try the Ricotta Gnocchi and add chicken instead of meatballs. Melanie was 2 for 2! They say they use the Yelp join the waitlist feature; however , it continuously said live wait:0, on our way there but when we arrived we were told 15 minutes. We waited for about 25-30 minutes. While this was not a great first impression, it was smooth sailing from there. We started with the large rustica salad-Romaine, shaved Parmesan, dried cranberries, walnuts, gala apples, balsamic vinaigrette. The size was perfect for 3. My son had the kids pepperoni pizza which is HUGE! I had a piece the next day and it was A-ok. For the adults at the table, we ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza -Grilled chicken, mozzarella and provolone blend, Gorgonzola cheese, caramelized onions and house-made Buffalo ranch sauce. I highly recommend this pizza! It has a nice kick to it. We also ordered the Aviva- Crumbled hot Italian sausage, house-made fresh mozzarella, hot banana peppers and our signature red sauce. It was pretty spicy but I'm not a sausage fan so I didn't have more than half a piece. The crust is light and fluffy. Our server was super friendly and on point. We indulged in the Vodka sauce pizza with sausage. The meat topping, combined with melty cheese & fresh herbs sprinkled on top made for a truly delicious pizza. I really enjoyed the vodka sauce as its much more savory and less acidic than traditional red pizza sauce. Also enjoyed the ricotta gnocchi and meatballs in red sauce. We ordered up some curbside pandemic TO GO food last weekend. This was our first take out order as we were being super cautious about going out. We got a buffalo chicken pizza and a mushroom pizza with added pepperoni as well as beans and greens and appetizer meatballs. We had also ordered some brussels sprouts but ended up with someone's Italian hoagie and a side of roasted garlic potatoes. The pizzas were really good, as always. The beans and greens seemed like a super small portion compared to what we normally get in the restaurant but we hungrily ate them and enjoyed every morsel. We ate the meatballs with some pasta the next day and they were seriously delicious meatballs with perfectly light and tomato centered sauce. We will definitely get those again. The Italian hoagie was lunch the next day and it just so-so, to be honest. I love a good Italian hoagie but this was light on meats and heavy on bread. Hopefully we'll get to try their brussels sprouts at some point. There's always next time. read more

Delicious, fast and perfect for our 3 toddlers. We were in and out within the hour. From the hostess to the server everyone was attentive and efficient. We had the white pizza, vodka pizza (yum!), meatball and a side of butter noodles. Kids were happily covered in sauce by the end of the meal, scooping every last bit of the sauce by hand and finishing all of the crust. Such a great experience while passing through cranberry. Aviva ended up being a good lunch spot. The entrances are a bit confusing to me and the distinction between express, lounge, etc. They had a lunch meal deal for a 10inch pizza and soup. For soup, I got the wedding soup over the French onion. The wedding soup ended up being quite nice and flavorful. There were a bunch of ingredients in it and I liked it. It was served at a good temperature. Then I opted for the Aviva pizza, which promised to be a spicy house special. The meal deal says personal size, and I thought the size worked great. The pizza itself was not overflowing with cheese or toppings. It was a thinner crust. I thought all of that was great and worked for me. A tad more cheese on the pizza would have been nice but that was not an issue. I would normally take a bar seat, but their bar seats had this glass panel in from of them making the area rather cramped. It looks like a COVID protocol. There was a second bar too but I wasn't sure if that was that lounge or what. No real complaints here, would go get lunch here again. read more
