10 oz Center Cut Filet Mignon and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake

I'm not sure why I have waited so long to dine here but I'm glad the husband and I finally got to experience what this restaurant has to offer . Let me start with the phenomenal service . Ash was on point with her service and knowledge of the menu. She provided an amazing experience , completely professional while also making us laugh a few times. The manager also came over to ensure everything was running smoothly. I appreciate little things such as that ! The food was was impeccable and exactly expected for the pricing . We indulged in the beef tartar , crab stuffed shrimp, Caesar salad , filet with blue cheese crust , crab cake, asparagus , potatoes and a crème brûlée. Everything was done to perfection ! I am excited to add this to our upscale night outs !

Let me start by saying Ron, the server made this evening amazing. My 10 yr old had to join last second and you would've thought we were celebrating her the way he made her feel special. From the recommendations to the drink and dessert he got her. Service was too tier. The food! Fantastic. The Parmesan sole was the best crusted fish I've had. It had a flavorful crunch on the outside but nice and tender on the inside. I will def be comparing all fish going forward to this. The Mac n cheese was flavorful. If you like truffle. You'll love the Mac. Asparagus was tender and flavorful. Very good. Both of the steaks were cooked to perfection. The peppercorn bourbon sauce that came with the strip was amazing. Also the fries were very crispy. Great taste all around. The mule was great and balanced. The inside is very nice. Lighting is just enough to see what you're doing. You can see into the kitchen, there are expensive bottles of liquor and wine on display. Very nice date vibes. Highly recommend.

Eddie V's was a marvelous experience top to bottom! We went to celebrate and they matched the energy x1000 with the food, drinks and service. This wasn't my first time, and it definitely won't be my last. The food & drinks were unforgettable. I'm actually still thinking about the truffle Mac & Cheese days later. We had oysters, all of which were good but the Moon Light Bay were plump with a perfect brine for me! The tuna crispy rice was sooo delicious, it almost had a croquette quality. The tuna had a fantastic freshness and sashimi-like quality. the tiny dollop of wasabi was smooth, almost like it was whipped. The halibut was so wonderfully cooked: tender and moist it was flaking and sliding apart at the same time. I'd also recommend the Brussel sprouts! The 24K cocktail was a 10/10! Get this, especially if you like grand marnier. I also enjoyed the espresso martini and would recommend. Our waiter Chris provided stellar service and made the experience unforgettable. The ambiance was magnificent: A talented live band and singer, mood lighting and gorgeous decor and detailssss for days. Loved Eddie's! 10/10 will definitely be back!

We had a private event here yesterday night and unfortunately it wasn't as good as our last private event here. First off, our private room was really really dark even after our presentation was over. The inside was quite cold and I would have to leave the private room to warm up because the rest of the restaurant was a normal temperature. The walls were not very soundproof. There was live music yesterday night and it was difficult to hear the other people on the room as a result. For some reason we never got any bread. The filet and salad were decent. The potatoes were good and I thought the asparagus was a little undercooked. I'm not sure why the dessert is family style when it's a portion size for some person.

We went to Eddie V's on a Saturday night while visiting Pittsburgh for the first time. Our server was Liz S. and she immediately made us feel welcome and provided wonderful and attentive service, especially for my newly diagnosed gluten-free daughter with celiac. She made sure my daughter had plenty of choices for every course and the food and drink were outstanding for all of us. Highlights were the Hope Diamond cocktail, lobster bisque, wagyu beef dumplings and salmon. Delicious!

Went here for my birthday; Amazing service! Quite the elegant experience! The food is exquisite and the vibe was perfect. I had the Chilean Sea Bass, asparagus, and added scallops. Absolutely cooked to perfection! They had a live band that played great music. They made this a great experience!

10 oz Center Cut Filet Mignon

I cannot remember our servers name. She had brown hair. We sat down and ordered drinks and the eddies tower immediately. Our drinks came about 10-15 min later. 45 minutes later and the eddies tower was not there yet after about 2-3 visits saying it was on the way. After 70 min, the manager came over and said the lobster was bad so they cannot serve it to us. Then the server came over and said the crab was bad. The server said she immediately put our entrees orders in but then offered us appetizers. The appetizers and salads came. The Caesar salad was the worst Caesar I've ever had. Our steaks came but we didn't have steak knives and then our sides came a little later. My steak was a little overcooked compared to the group. We ended getting dessert from the manager and he checked on us. Overall this was my first time to Eddie vs and it was not impressive with the miscommunication of the seafood tower, not telling us and bringing us something instead of having us wait and then the timing of the rest of the meal was just off. All this food came at once and wasn't spaced and felt rushed. The drinks timing was off the whole meal.

Burrata and Beet Salad

We made reservations before a recent concert and still waited almost 30 mins before being seated. Our waiter was attentive until we ordered our main dishes, which we all chose sides and appetizers as our entrees since they are plenty for a meal. We didn't see him much after that. The burrata had such a light texture and the beets nicely complimented it for a light appetizer. The crab cake was very heavy on the crab with a light crusted outside. It stayed together when I took a bite. I'm glad I got to try it and won't be rushing back.

Eddie V's was a perfect choice for a date night downtown. The food was phenomenal, and fantastic service from Ian. Definitely will return!

Wonderful birthday dinner. Had a rocky start due to overcrowded dining room and backed up reservations. Michael the manager that night, smoothed everything out and got us situated. I really appreciate his sensitivity towards me and my guests. The food was amazing as expected. Our server was kind and attentive. She had great suggestions and took great care of us. Friday nights are extremely busy so plan ahead and plan for delays!

When we walked in, the host greeted us right away, asked for our name, and seated us pretty quickly. There were actually a good amount of open seats, so I am not sure reservations were completely necessary, but it was still nice to have one. I honestly expected the inside to feel more extravagant and space themed, almost like an outer space vibe with more visual elements and atmosphere. I was hoping for something more immersive and futuristic. It was still cool overall, just not quite as visually dramatic as I imagined. We ordered an espresso martini and the Kiwi Nova. I really enjoyed my drink, especially after talking with the host who explained that they use scientific processes for their cocktails along with fresh purées and fresh ingredients. That is something I really appreciate because I am not a fan of drinks made with a lot of simple syrup or fake additives. He loved his espresso martini and said it was one of the best he has had. My drink was definitely on the sweeter side and I feel like too much of it might lead to a hangover, but it was still really good. Our server was attentive at first, but later on we ended up waiting a while to order another round. After sitting for a bit, we decided to order through the hostess instead and she got us taken care of right away. Overall, it was a cool experience mainly for the drinks. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. Service was okay, and I am not sure if we will return, but I am glad we finally got to check it out.

First of all you just feel welcome when you walk in the door. There is lots of bar sitting, along with some booths and even a couch. We usually grab some seats at the bar. There are frequently events going on and a wide range as well. Some events are ticketed, sometimes there is a cover and sometimes no charge. The artwork is great and all the fun photographs and sayings. Every time I'm there I spot something new. There is even a gumball machine with poetry in it. How cool. Most often we have gone for live music. This time we were in the area and just wanted to grab a drink. They did have a DJ though which was fun. It was also a great choice because they stay open late when so many local places close early. They do have a limited food menu but I have never eaten there. They have a variety of drinks ranging from non alcoholic to beer or wine, even cider. The cocktail menu is where it's at though. There are so many choices and some unique combinations. It's been fun trying so many. I think my favorite drink on the menu is Galeophobia which comes in a fun shark glass. It's fruity without being too sweet and the macadamia liquor adds just the right amount of nuttiness in the background. I seriously could drink several of them. The Spork House Punch is another favorite. Immediately *pinkies up* with the fancy little crystal mug. The pear and lemon gives such great flavor and it's well balanced and an easy drinker. It also feels like a good value with the amount you get. This time my fiancé tried Elvis' death and loved the toilet mug. He said it was tasty but a bit expensive for what it was so he probably wouldn't order it again. Fun bartenders, great drinks, good atmosphere, enjoyable entertainment.. what's not to love?

I've been to quite a few cigar lounges--and even worked at one--so I have a good sense of what makes a place stand out. Burn by Rocky Patel did just that on every level. The ambiance, décor, cigar selection, and service were all top-tier. It's a classy lounge with a twist of sports bar energy, which made it both elevated and fun. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day, and they had live entertainment--a violinist playing along to hip hop and R&B--which created such a unique vibe. Kayla, the bartender, let us know about the live entertainment the day before, it wasn't posted on their social media or website. She was attentive, sweet, and made excellent drinks. Evan, who was working the cigar side, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and communicated well with customers even during a heavy flow. One thing that really stood out was the crowd--mixed ages, mature, and plenty of ladies confidently partaking in the beautiful art of cigars, which I loved seeing. Even if you don't smoke cigars, the vibes in this place are worth the visit. If and when I return to Pittsburgh, this place is a must. It's also within walking distance to the stadiums, which is a huge plus. Feedback for management: The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the disconnect between locations and social media postings. There was an event listed on the website that wasn't actually happening at this location, while an amazing event that was happening wasn't shared online; which would have been a shame to miss. It may be worth considering in-house social media and website management to ensure updates are accurate and timely to the specific location.
