Picked up a takeout order. Staff was friendly and pick up service was quick. The food was mediocre at best. Portion size and quality of the sandwiches definitely did not justify the price. French fries were cold and rubbery. We ended up throwing most of them away. We also ordered chicken fingers from the children's menu, which seemed to be a frozen grocery store product. Again, not worth the cost. We have had excellent pizza and salads at Fat Daddy's in the past. This meal was a total disappointment. read more

6 of us arrived, we had a room reserved. The wait person said " you have to turn on the light, there's the switch". We sat, we had to ask for menus. A while later the wait person came back, it took 15 minutes to get the first beverage. More friends arrived and another 15 minutes to get the first beverage ordered. 30 minutes later the first meal ordered still didn't arrive and that order was canceled, waitress said it's ready, well why didn't she bring it?? She had a hand empty and was told it was canceled. 10 minutes later it arrived!! So many little things added up to not fun. We asked for separate checks when we first arrived. Towards the end of the meal, 2 of us were ready yo leave andcwe were told everything was put together. Glad we were just visiting. I for one will never return there. read more

This was a nice place. I was staying nearby and wanted to do something easy for dinner on our first night in the area, so I ordered a pizza from Fat Daddy's Place and was very much impressed. I was able to call the restaurant and place an order, and the order was ready exactly when they said it would be. The restaurant area was closed when I showed up, but the bar area was fairly inviting and comfortable. It even looked like they had a few craft beers on tap, some of them from local breweries. The pizza was significantly better than what I expected for the the area. The crust was crispy and not overly thick. The toppings were generous but still well balanced, and many of the pizzas on the menu were vegetable forward. Highly recommended for take-out pizza. read more

Came here because of the Yelp reviews. The farmers salad dinners were great and the side salad was great. the burgers were well received. The pizza was good, not NY but we've had worse, and it well coated with cheese, pepperoni and fresh mushrooms. The fettuccine Alfredo was creamy. My chicken parm was ok. I think I'd stick to the basics if I came back. I will say that I want to give this place 4 stars but it was hot and we asked for the many ceiling fans to be turned on, but we were told they don't work. Just for show. Could have used a second glass of water especially considering the heat in the place but it never came. Lovely waitress but the place needs ventilation or a better AC. read more

Went here for dinner around 7:30 pm on a Monday. First my gps had a hard time finding it. Not sure why bc when we finally got there it was right on route 30. There was a nice outdoor seating area but it was super hot out so we opted for indoors. Note: there are two front doors. The one to the right is the bar and the one to the left is the restaurant. Once we were seated there was only 1 waitress for the seating area. With that said, it took a bit longer than we thought for service. The waitress was super nice though and staffing is clearly not her fault. I ordered the turkey reuban with a side salad and wedding soup. It was downright amazing. The reuban was ridiculously good. My only complaint is that there was too much turkey on it. My husband got one of the flatbread pizzas which to me actually tasted better cold the second day. We ordered noodles for my daughter off the kids menu. Everything was good. Would definitely come again just hopefully there are 2 servers next time. read more

The service is slow and our waitress was terrible! She never checked on us after getting our food and didn't even offer drink refills. She had conversations with all the other tables in the restaurant but couldn't even stop to give us drinks. Will not be back for awhile. read more

There are no windows so you have no idea what you're about to embark on. The menu is amazing and this is 3rd time we've come. We haven't had something that we haven't liked. The sandwiches are delicious. The people beside us got HUGE salads that they raved about and their artisan pizza is to die for! When we heard about this place from the Amazing owners of Twisted Vine the Eclectic market we knew we had to stop. Now it's our go to restaurant. We stopped here on our way home from the mall. It was pretty empty when we went in so we figured it wouldn't be to bad time wise. The waitress brought our menus and got our drinks. My hubby ordered a burger and I ordered a Rueben. We ordered a garden salad to share. It took a while which was ok but then our salad came out and she literally went straight back and came out with sandwiches. I took one bite and I said this is a ham sandwich so we waited another five minutes until the waitress stopped at our table and when I told her she looked over another table and she said oh I gave them your Ruben she said he has Alzheimer's and probably didn't notice she picked it up and went back to the kitchen and I waited another 10 minutes my husband was done with his sandwich until they brought mine no apology, nothing. read more

Multiple attempts to call in an order were unanswered. So I ordered through Grubhub, paid for it and was given a 40 min wait time. When I got there at 30 min it was 20 min before I could even talk to anyone. One person ahead of me said one waitress and the cook were the only ones working. With many tables full inside and out that waitress was nonstop. The person in front of me changed his mind when his friend got there and they left. The waitress finally came to me and went to get my takeout which was one pizza. She came out empty handed and said the grub hub order was overlooked (until I got to the restaurant to pick it up) and it would take 30 min to make it. I told them to cancel the order because my husband has to go to work. This was my first time in this restaurant. It was recommended by a friend. My husband and dog were waiting in the car and it is a sunny 83 degree day. No discount or compensation towards another day was offered. I understand you are short staffed and no one wants to work but don't accept grubhub orders you can't fulfill! Please go apply for a job here if you are looking for work!!! I was really lucky to find this place while on vacation. All of the food we had was great. The soups were all outstanding and the burgers are legit. Just stopped here and could tell the place was busy. Politely asked the bartender/waitress if we can seat ourselves and if we could sit outside and she rudely replied as if we were bothering her that we could sit outside but we have to come in and order because she doesn't have time for us. As a waitress and bartender I would never in a million years tell a willing customer that I did not have time for them and that they would have to come to me.to order. I would rather deal with a friendly busy waitress than a rude lazy one. HORRIBLE. read more
