I decided to try their fish sandwich and fries. Believe me, when they state 'some say we invited it here', they were not lying. It had incredible flavor with the batter and the fish was cooked perfectly--flaky, tender and moist. Greasiness was non-existent. Roll was grilled with a slight crunch when bit into. I may be mistaken, but their tartar sauce seemed to be house-made as well. Just the right amount of tangy and sweet, with bits of carrot and pickle. Incredibly delicious. The fries threw me for a loop, wasn't expecting cottage fries, but I loved them. Some were incredibly crispy and crunchy, almost akin to a chip. Some were cut thicker and had a similar feel to steak fries, but so much better. All in all incredibly delicious food. Will definitely be back to check out their other food in addition to their coffee and espresso options. One final thing I love, is the bio-degradable takeout containers. No need for anymore products that will just sit in a landfill for our descendants to worry about.

When you walk in, it has a warm, inviting vibe. There are a variety of tables and seating options (including some couch and comfy chair type seating). You order by going up to the counter, and they either call your order or will bring it to your table when it is done if you are eating it there. One down side is that there is a fairly large menu and it isn't always easy to find/see all of the options when you are waiting to order. My daughter saw someone got a bubble tea but at the time we were looking, that menu wasn't easy to spot so we didn't even know it was something they offered! All of their food items are made to order (well, I suppose except for the soup which is home made and just dished out to order). They even have soup flights on certain days! I need to go back and try that because every soup I've ever had here has been delicious. They have the standard coffee menu but also always have some unique and quirky seasonal options. They also have smoothies, bubble teas and some other unique creations. They have tasty breakfast and lunch sandwiches, breakfast scrambles, mac and cheese and a variety of sandwiches. I wasn't looking for a refund or a replacement--I simply thought they should know. Unfortunately, the manager who answered did not identify himself, and when I asked for his name, instead of simply telling me, he asked who I was. When I told him I was a customer who was there earlier in the day, he then identified himself as Chris. I also found his response to my concern to be very unapologetic, which was disappointing. From a place that prides itself on its desserts, I honestly expected better. I'm hoping this was just a fluke with one batch, because I would hate to see a longtime favorite change for the worse. But since the new owners took over, I have noticed that there just doesn't seem to be the same consistency that I remember from the previous owners. Here are my reviews for what we ate: Giant Cinnamon-Roll Pancake - 4.5 stars - I did not measure this pancake, but it was a very, very large size. Surprisingly, I ate most of it, and I might have eaten all of it if I hadn't planned to eat lunch two hours later. The pancake was fluffy and topped with sweet icing, but I think that it could use more cinnamon. Bagel Breakfast Sandwich - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this sandwich. The bagel, cheese, crispy bacon, and eggs tasted very good. Assorted Cookies - 4.5 stars - These cookies came in several flavors, and I ordered one of each flavor. The waitress, however, told me that two of the flavors were out of stock, which was not true, because I literally took a photo of those cookies in the display case, and you can see that photo attached to this review. She brought out very cold cookies in flavors of triple chocolate chip (which my husband really liked), oatmeal raisin, Reese's (one of my favorites), chaos (several ingredients), and lemon blueberry (my other favorite).
