I am filing a formal complaint against the manager, Ben, if that's even his real name and title, he…read moretook his name badge off before I could see it so I asked for his name at the Blairsville, PA location (949 Rt 22 W) for severe unprofessionalism, classist discrimination, and a flat refusal to refund a completely incorrect order totaling $15.89 plus $2 in reward points. I placed an online order early in the morning specifically requesting wheat bread. When I arrived, Ben handed me white bread. I cannot eat white bread. When I pointed this out, Ben admitted he was out of wheat bread but refused to update the app because he "isn't used to having orders this early in the morning." He never asked if I wanted an alternative, refused to take the hoagies back, and aggressively stated, "I can throw them away for you but you're not getting a refund." He explicitly stated he shut off online orders afterwards because he only had two loaves left and "would rather have someone willing to pay full price for it." which left me in tears. Ben completely violated Subway's customer service and digital ordering policies. I am demanding a full refund of my $15.89 to my original payment method, the immediate reinstatement of my $2 in reward points, and will be filing a formal review of this manager's employment by the franchise owner.

So when my theme park companion wanted to stop at Taco Bell for dinner before heading home, I was very hesitant. But stop we did and the experience was surprising as it was refreshing. You can either order from a kiosk or to an actual person - we chose to order to the worker behind the counter. It was a pleasant experience as it was quick and efficient - as it should be. The food came out as you would expect, as well. It was made well, tasted as good as you would expect from a big box fast food joint, and the meals were event brought out to us to our table - a super plus. I mean, if the Pizza Hut next door had been open I could have done so, but they don't share a dining room, so why would they share operating hours. When I came in I didn't even deal with the counter. I used the touchscreens to place my order. I felt that if I would have ordered at the counter I would have been interrupting the frat party going on between the workers. It was like the workers could not care that there were customers inside. I was not the only person in here and it appeared that the other customers were more annoyed by this. When I got my food it was sloppily made. It felt like the employee that had to call out my name was disgusted that it was Matt. While I was eating, which I guess at this point I could say I didn't finish it all because of how badly it was put together, one employee went around the dining room and started to empty the trash bins. Waving the plastic bags around with no regard to those eating. I'd prefer my food free of germs and who knows exactly what else you might be wafting around the dining room. The least I can say is that my curiosity was put at ease. Knowing I cannot combine my wants between the two restaurants I will probably continue to speed by this place while passing through.
