    Margarita pizza and Chicken Stromboli.

Great service! Absolutely delicious pizza! I got the margarita pizza for a taste of Italian and a side Caesar salad which was all amazing. The Mrs also tried the Stromboli and we would recommend it all!! We sat outside on a beautiful warm April day on their patio and it was wonderful.

Delicious pizza! Love that they will cook a thin crust upon request. A five- PLUS selection this order was their oven-roasted wings (all mild buffalo with ranch to dip). These were the crowd favorite. As I write this- just started with a four star update because they omitted the two complementary toppings offered on their delicious stuffed portabella. But I think the pizza and wings push it to a 4.5, so I will round up. Because I would order again without hesitation. A bonus is you can pick up a slice to give it a try. I highly recommend!

Mammoth pizza! DELICIOUS! Our families favorite pizza to share!

We often get take out but tonight we dined in to also visit the Ice Festival in town. Although not in the center business area around the Diamond, it's a short walk uptown. Great way to work off some of those calories ! Atmosphere is as expected of an old Italian establishment. Kinda grody with oil stained red checkered tablecloths and an old well worn wooden floor. "Artwork " adorns the walls circa 1950's Venice. But honestly I don't care! The pizza is THAT GOOD! We always order the weekend special which is a large pizza, family size salad (which is also Really Good with cheese, pepperoni and pepperoncini peppers and nice mixed greens) and a 2 liter soda of your choice. Extra for toppings but still a lot of food for a family of 4. If you're in Ligonier and craving pizza, this is the place to go. Don't confuse it with Joio's in Latrobe. Or the one in Carbon. THIS ONE is the best!

Square cut with a crispy and delicate pie-like crust and a sweet sauce. The one thing I do recommend is that you should add a salty or spicy topping to it (pepperoni, sausage, peppers, etc). I'm normally a plain pizza guy, but you need something to cut the sweetness. A large pie and a can of soda was right around $20.

Being from out of town, we were looking for a special spot for lunch with the same charm and draw of Ligonier overall. During our selection process I had written off some other reviews talking about how the fact that this is a local scene detracted from the experience. When we arrived, three of the six tables in the place were occupied by a group of locals talking about whatever. No problem, great, glad there is a sense of community, but the closeness of the seating and the setup of the place meant that me and my spouse didn't really have our own conversation. We weren't invited into the conversation dominating the entire place but did have to listen to it, including the cringe comments on a couple different social issues of the day. I wouldn't normally mention the conversations of patrons in a review but by the same token this business felt the need to display some fake Trump $1,000,000 note on the cash register. The inside decor of the place feels tired, lots of old articles on the walls and a random collection of trains, Elvis, and classic car stuff. All faded/fading. Our server appeared to have just rolled out of bed, threw on a miscellaneous t-shirt, some crocs, and showed up to work. The menu consists mostly of stuff you probably already make at home. There are more options/distinctive items however at the GetGo gas station down the street. For what it was, the food we had was good and the pricing is at least commensurate with the food. These factors saved the two stars in the rating. Wishing we would have walked out shortly after sitting down. Ligonier has so much more to offer. Hoping this review might help someone else not make the same mistake.

Cool that we can be entertained watching food being prepared. Our server, Essense, took our drink orders and gave us a couple minutes to peruse the menu. Nice portions for both dinners. We didn't save room for desserts but, we ordered a couple coffee drinks for our ride home. On the outside, you're greeted with plenty of outdoor patio seating in front of the restaurant and live music from an artist playing tunes. Inside is a spacious bar, lounge and woodsy interior with another room with tables and larger party seating. Since we had a little one with us, we thought more fitting to sit outside, watch the horses and carriages pass and enjoy the fresh air. We were told by the hosts that the seating in the front, though unoccupied, wasn't available, but the tables on the side (which I thought were for storage as they weren't set, cleaned or too presentable looking) were. Although a bit confused by that note, we decided to sit outside. It seemed that there was only one server working the outside area as we saw her hastily going back and forth. We were sat at 5:35pm or so. After about 10 minutes, she took our drink orders and 10 minutes later we then ordered our food. We got the drink we ordered then patiently awaited our food. A little after 6:05p, it started to sprinkle with rain outside. If you know PA, the rain can come down hard and heavy, quick. We asked our server if they had other seating available who went to check. As we were sitting on the side of the building - in an uncovered area - we went inside around 6:15p to ask if there was other seating available. Surely a rain soaked toddler and water ruined food isn't the best look for a restaurant serving its guests.. Both the younger lady hosts and a man (not sure his relation to this restaurant), John, seemed a bit perplexed by our request. He then proceeded to advise that the umbrella-covered seating in the front of the restaurant wasn't available, pulls his phone out to check the weather, notes that it doesn't say it's raining, but instead says "yeah, I don't know what that is, maybe it's a neighbor spraying a hose nearby" (while another employee says "I see the rain on the window in front of us") and doesn't really provide any solution for us to sit so we go back outside. Very confused by that interaction, when we saw our server next, we told her that we would be leaving and we'll pay the check for the one drink we ordered. Another girl came out and apologized, saying she wasn't sure why they wouldn't let us sit inside or anywhere else and proceeded to take us to a table inside. Our now hangry and somewhat sprinkled on toddler got her food, noodles with butter, at 6:20p and we got our dishes at 6:30p. The food looked decent though I can't comment on its flavor and taste of our meals as I had no appetite then. I don't know who would want to enjoy a meal there after that interaction. No apology or conversation from a manager was ever had, no items removed from the bill or a complimentary item provided to make up for the poor experience. We didn't eat much as we were quite off put but paid the bill in full. I still have no idea who the "John" guy is and what purpose he may serve there aside from the blatant disregard of guest's concerns and a poor example set in front of the younger employees. Our server and some of the other runner girls were kind, so I don't think customer service and general decency as a human is lacking from this town but this experience and this specific restaurant left that unfortunate impression. If he or they didn't want us there, I surely would have appreciated the honesty so we could spend our money and celebrate Father's Day weekend elsewhere. I don't plan on coming back and only Yelp members don't visit either. If I could tell you to avoid this restaurant at all costs, I would.
