3.5ish to be honest simply based off of my initial visit. I grew up not far from this place and early on worked in the town where this is located but never visited here. For years I would hear people rave about their pizza and many people I know would not go anywhere else for pizza. So on a solo nights in the mountains I decided to head down and order a pizza to go. The outside is somewhat nondescript and made me wonder what the inside was going to be like. Was it a dingy bar, what am I in for when I open the door? Well when I opened the door I was pleasantly surprised to see a very well lit bar and restaurant. The place is a little dated inside but was spotless. I saddled up to the bar to order a pizza to go and a beer. I was quickly and pleasantly greeted by a gentleman that talked to me like I was a regular. I ordered the pie and looked around to try and see what to drink. I saw tap systems but no handles so I guess no draft beer. I'm guessing no craft beer here either and I don't think a beer list even. So I look around and order what the guy beside me is having. As I sat and waited people came and went, lots more people eating at tables than sitting at the bar. Lots of people came for takeout as well. Very much a locals place, everyone seems to know everyone. The couple beside me chatted me up which was nice. They made suggestions for me if I come back and talked to me like I was a long lost friend. When my pizza came out I left and wished the folks well. I headed back to the mountains. Now the pizza was a bit cool when I finally arrived back and started to eat. I liked the sauce and cheese ratio. I know pizza is a hard rating because everyone is particular and has different tastes with pizza it seems more than any other food. I will say I enjoyed it, but I was a fan of the dough. It was too dense for my taste. Almost reminds me off a bagged dry dough mix you make at home. Again my opinion. The pepperoni and cheese and sauce were good. I'll go back now knowing what to expect, I'll just try something else. Oh and I didn't mention that the huge beer and pizza where cheaper than what I would pay for just a large plain pizza at home! I think my bill was $16.50, it was sixteen something, bargain.

Consistent. Never a bad pie here. Extra sauce is the key. Just had a banana pepper mushroom pie and it was delish.

Best pizza in town - no frills and limited parking but worth the effort. Their other food offerings are good as well.

This place is nothing fancy, and the atmosphere is more like a social club, but the pizza is great, and I wouldn't change a thing.

Best pizza in PA. not just Mt Pleasant. It has a very authentic taste, unlike other pizza, you will find no matter where you travel.

Bill (bar tend) has been at the Village for over 35 years, and he'll pour you up something delicious, and also be able to recite the day's latest sports scores. The dinning room is very comfortable and they also have window tables (our favorites) where you can look over-top street level. The room has a feel of a country inn and it's not loud (like many today) even with a full house. The food is absolutely delicious! Maybe the best pizza anywhere, and pasta dishes with flavor we just can't find in other places. They also offer a salad bar with dinners (or as a meal) that has a nice selection of greens, olives, beets, peppers, cheese and great, great salad dressings. The prices are very reasonable and the service is always friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a noisy, (TVs and music blasting) type of outing, skip the Village. However, for those of us who dine out to relax and enjoy the company we're with, have some delicious food and drink, you must try The Village soon!

We were seated in the dining room close to the windows looking out to the main street. After perusing the menu a couple minutes, we made our choices. A Philly cheese steak and a hot sausage sandwich plus a 4 cut pizza. Our sandwiches arrived first. The Philly was shaved prime rib beef with sauté onions, peppers and cheese. The hot sausage was loaded with onions, peppers. Both included fries. The 4 cut pizza had pepperoni and green peppers. All items ordered were delicious. We recommend this restaurant

Very friendly calm restaurant, they do achieve a calm ambience with a slightly smaller parking lot but that's not an issue. They deserve a bigger parking lot and more customers but either way, they're doing it right here. I got the "fiesta" which was a fried tortilla bowl containing mixed greens, pico de gallo, avocado, corn salsa, cheese, grilled chicken and homemade ranch for $16. Very worth it. While I eat small portions, a normal person should expect to be satisfied with this amount of food. It was everything I wanted in a salad. The waitress was very friendly and polite. I wish many years of open service to this company

It had good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give it a go. And I'm glad I did. Everything was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice, the workers were friendly, my waitress Jae was very attentive, and most importantly, the fish sandwich was top notch. It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. While I generally don't like battered fries, these were pretty tasty. The only slight negative was the cost. At almost $30 for my sandwich plus a beer, it seemed a little pricey to me. But sometimes you have to pay for quality. I will return.
