Stopped in for dinner around 4:30. Nice and quiet on a Thursday. We tried the appetizer pepperoni rolls dipped in sauce and stuffed banana peppers. Both amazing. My son got the pepperoni pizza with extra cheese- great as usual! I got the Italian beef sandwich mini- it is a pretty big sandwich on a hoagie bun toasted perfectly with melty cheese and juicy Italian beef. My husband tried the steak sandwich mini-also served on that perfectly toasted cheesy roll. He said the meat was soft and tasted great. Our waitress was so sweet and happy to help. We will be back to try something else for sure. read more

Shameful Business Practice... Service was good. Food was fine. Ambiance was appropriate. Overall though, I'll NEVER go back and I will NEVER recommend anyone to them or suggest them because for $8 that they were aware of they CHOSE to deceive and steal. I ordered two pieces of lasagna and they took one piece and separated it into two. My friend had two layers of pasta with cheese on top, i had two layers of pasta, no cheese on top. It was obvious. Then drown with sauce to hide the pathetic con job. I asked my server to ask the manager that instead of full price for each, $17, that I'd pay half price each. They vut the price in half for one piece, the one without cheese on top aka the bottom but charged full price for the top. I NEVER ever give reviews but the short-term quick buck attitude of whomever made the rip off decisions last night was exceptional. read more

Let me tell you - if you are hungry go here and get a whole hoagie! We got an Italian and the steak and the amount of meat on both is impressive! I love spicy stuff so I wish they had a spicy Italian but that's here not there. The cost of a whole hoagie was definitely worth the price! I had lunch and dinner the next day and lunch the following day! The staff was extremely friendly and even offered to help when I had my daughter with me realizing that the two whole hoagies were a hand full on top of making sure my daughter walked safely to the car. I highly recommend going here as they also have seating like a restaurant plus they are conveniently located near big name stores Target, Kohls, Walmart, and Sam's club to name a few. Got 3 large pizzas to go. There are no deals to be found. I paid a hefty price for them. The website made it easy to order. They gave an accurate ETA for the order. Only real complaint is the fact they didn't have a pizza box big enough for their own large pizza. They put a brown bag over the pizza put on a cardboard slab. Luckily my suv was empty so I could place 3 pizzas in it. read more

Ordered a pizza with a few toppings. It was saturated wet with water. Used 5 napkins to sop up the water. The end result was soggy wet pizza. There was very little sauce if any. On the positive side, the crust that wasn't soggy tasted good. Waitress never came to see how pizza was. read more

Made a quick stop here on a road trip up to Ohio after seeing the poor reviews for the local Pizza Hut, and BOY was it a good choice! We ordered the garlic bread to start, which was delicious and very cheap! Then we ordered the large pizza as a meal - when they say large, they mean LARGE! Ended up taking half the pie to go with us, and it will be well enjoyed at home. Delicious, crunchy crust and a perfect balance of cheese and sauce. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Service was fast and friendly, we seated ourselves and the server was quick to check on us and refill our drinks. Overall, will definitely be stopping here again on our next trip up! Not sure what my deal is but I have easily driven past this clearly displayed restaurant on Route 30 a thousand times. Absolutely never thought about stopping in until I needed to purchase a gift card for a friend. Apparently this is one of her favorites. After my first visit, I think I will make it the same. I had no idea they had a very cute, and inviting dining area. From the outside, it looks like a typical pizza and hoagie spot so it was a nice surprise. It's not the same overly puffy bottom and plastic cheese that everyone is used to. The pizza here is greasy and delicious. You eat more toppings than dough. The pizza itself is huge too. Never really ate inside so I can't speak on that but it looks like an old school pizza parlor. Best pizza in the Pittsburgh Sports Nation area. Our pizza was enormous. Then we heard a guy & his lady friend order a hoagie. Then the waitress said that hoagie will feed 3 to 4. So he got the half sized hoagie instead. When it came out, it was still to big for one person. It feeds up to 2 people. WOW! You will definitely get your money's worth. This definitely a different style of pizza than you will typically find anywhere in the area. It is served in a paper bag. Yes I said a paper bag. It is quite good and ingredients seem pretty fresh. However when we order the veggies such as onions or peppers as toppings, they are not always throughly "cooked" (we like ours cooked well). I will say that even though this place is small and can be easily passed up, they have the BEST crab stuffed mushrooms. Something you would probably never expect because you're thinking it's just a pizzeria, but so worth the try. It's actually my favorite menu item. Now, I must be honest and mention that my last experience with my call in order wasn't as great as usual. It was 50 minutes before closing and the one who answered the phone was accommodating but the tone in his voice was "I'm ready for the day to be done". When I went to pick it up, I believe I could have pointed out who answered the phone when I called. They became frustrated with the cashier about the order. I believe everyone has long days. Pizza is some of the worst I've ever had. Ordered a medium cheese and medium pepperoni/ham for take out. The cheese pizza wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. Had no flavor and hardly any sauce. It was way too greasy for being just cheese. The pepperoni/ham was absolutely awful. There was hardly any sauce on it. The ham looks like it's sliced for lunchmeat. The pizza was so greasy they had to put two cardboard bases under it because was soaking through the first. The ENTIRE bottom of the pizza was mush from laying in grease. I guess if there was any positive, it was the thick crust. For $37 I would've thought the pizza would've been somewhat decent. And for the people leaving 5 star reviews raving it's the best pizza they've ever had, they've obviously never had good pizza. read more

I am originally from PA but now live on the west coast. This was always my go to place when returning home. it's all about the food for me. This trip, I ate here twice, once dine in and once order out. The pizza, even though only a medium recommended by the waiter as large and Xtra large ran wet in the middle, this one was supposed to not be flooded but it was very wet in the center and was lacking in toppings. We chalked it up to an off day and ate soggy dripping pizza. Next to go order was a calzone. My friend ordered on from Luciano's which was thick with luscious insides and $7.50. Mine, from here, was all thick bread, little innerds of pepperoni and mushrooms, and acted as if they could care less that I was unhappy with my $14.79 loaf of bread lacking pepperoni and mushrooms, thin as could be in the center! Don't waste your time here. There are other businesses that appreciate their customers and prove it with great service and don't want to rip them off skimping on quality. read more

A solid pizza option that is sort of it's own thing, it's not New York style, or deep dish, and has more flare than your typical cookie cutter local pizza places. This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. They load it with toppings, if you worry about cholesterol, the pepperoni is very plentiful and great. My only suggestion is for them to use boxes for takeout instead of bags as you can't stack multiple pizzas. Perhaps they don't have the space. We haven't been to Conforti's since last June & decided to go last evening. we always order the SAME pizza: Large Pepperoni & Sausage. Last night, we ordered and when we got our pizza; it had MAYBE 50% of the toppings on it that it used to. I don't mind paying almost $27.00 for a fully topped pizza. We were very disappointed and won't be returning. It seems, as happens in a lot of business; when they get to a 2nd generation: Things go downhill. Very Sad :( read more
