We order pizza from here quite a bit, and love it! They do the little pepperoni cups that we love, and the dough is always perfectly cooked with a nice crispy crust! When we do go into the restaurant it's usually just for drinks, but it's good service and we like Karaoke night! read more

Mr Mikes had a good atmosphere for a bar setting, but pickup at Mr Mikes is very lacking. We have tried to order through Mr mikes directly or through DoorDash and either we cannot get through to the facility or the delivery or extremely late. The past experience was that we ordered a few pizzas and were given an hour timeframe. I went to pickup the food at the hour mark and was told that the food wasn't in yet and it would be at least another 30 minutes. While this was a busy night, we have experienced the same issues during the week on very slow nights. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for pickup within a reasonable timeframe. read more

I'm not David Portnoy, but I know pizza because after 35 years and conquering 38 states I've tried thousands of pounds of the pizza pie genre, and I don't heavily hand out 5 star reviews, so when I hand these out it's with great weight and tremendous pause. Yes, Westmoreland county could do better with its diversity of food and thought, but what it does lack Mr Mikes comes in and steals the number 1 spot in the North Huntingdon/Irwin/ Greensburg area with reasonable prices, and and an assortment of options with their wings and subs. Note, I have yet to try the subs but the mini pizza, white pizza and traditional pizza hit hard and surprised me with their basic balance. Is it the best I've ever had, no, but it's the best in a 300k population and that in its own right is a tremendous win. Traditional Pizza We go half cheese half pepperoni because my oldest needs to feel like she is eating an additional food group even though pepperoni is barely meat! Like bacon, I consider that topping a condiment like olives or mushrooms! Crust needed some char, but they use the right kind of ingredients which carries the pizza across the finish line and gives it the kind of greasy, I'm hung over and hate chain pizza kind of vibe. May I add the ranch is house made and not like a chain. I have a beef about these mom and pops not attempting blue cheese. Would it hurt you to try, please? 7.1/10 White Pizza with Tomatoe Again, great ingredients and simple is the approach and although I think char is a necessity for any 7.5 or above, I feel they know what they are and the price isn't unreasonable. 7.2/10 Wings I love their approach on wings, not flowered but fried and possibly baked on the back end perhaps? Either way, they maintain their juicy flavor while have a crunchy skin that gives you solid texture. By far the more unique approach in the area. 7.5/10 The ranch is spot on and I would like to see them branch out with the blue cheese, but I was very impressed. Infernos quality has dropped big time and loses its crown, and I don't see that changing any time soon. As for Rodney's, they need more consistency to their cooking style but if I had to give the chip it's Mr Mikes because of price and simplicity. read more

We have ordered Mr Mikes before, no problem. The food was good. However, tonight I placed a to go order. Dozen wings and a hoagie and it was $51 which I thought was high. But if the food is good you don't mind. Tonight's food sucked, wings were burnt and flavorless, the hoagie was doused with dressing to the point where it was soggy. We stopped in for dinner after going to some breweries and the fleatique. We chose it because my husband's name is Mike. We waited an hour for our food and while it was good/ok, it was not worth the wait. We're not local so we won't be back but we also won't recommended it to anyone either. Horrible. The bartender is lazy and caters to older males. The take out lady is miserable. You can't hear a single word inside of there and it's elbow to elbow. I walked in for a to-go order, she put her finger up for me to wait and I didn't even say "hello" yet. Then she aggressively grabs the bag sitting on the counter, slaps it down in front of me and tells me to check it to make sure it's mine??.. never had that happen. This is a favorite of my dad's (Who is elderly). One of the main reasons is that during the covid pandemic this amazing establishment made sure the elderly were supplied with a free meal once a week. Which makes them top notch in my opinion. That being said their pizza is absolutely delicious. I have not personally tried other menu items as I keep going back to their pizza. I decided to give them another try and the server was friendly and nice and the restaurant was empty; most likely since their liquor license was not renewed. Horrible service and acknowledgment to needs of my order that they messed up. I ordered a calzone... I got an Italian cold cut? Didn't realize until I got home which was 20 minutes away. I called and explained and they did not seem to care. I was out on "hold" but I guess the person didn't realize they didn't actually press the button to hold. I could hear everything. I heard the voice person say I said cold cut on the phone??? Which was not true. I said an Italian calzone. She asked what size? I thought that was weird and replied what sizes do you you have. She said I don't know. I then asked are they in inches or something? She said yea half or 12. Which I thought was weird and didn't understand why a calzone would be in two sizes. Anyways I explained what I wanted to add and she said ok to each item. Then she asked if I wanted it hot or cold??? I was so confused I said hot? Don't they only come hot? She said no hot or cold. I replied ok hot. She told me 25 minutes. I came in 30 minutes. I got there was waiting 10 minutes before anyone checked on me or even said someone will be with you in a moment. There were many people around and staff members. I got my order finally got home opened it and it was a cold cut !? I called and asked if they could deliver a calzone and they said at 7:45 pm all the drivers left. The person asked if I wanted a refund I said I paid in cash... she said you can bring the cold cut back and swap for a calzone. I explained my cousin had the car and that wasn't an option anymore. They put me on hold again and they were saying she needs to bring the cold cut back now or nothing. Thing is I wasn't going to touch the damn cold cut they wanted back so eagerly. The first time I ever had Mr. Mike's was AMAZING. It was hot and very flavorful. On a side note I was also a little under the influence so of course it would taste 10x better. This past time I got a cheese pizza again and it was still great although it wasn't as hot. I think maybe because when my friend went to pick it up he had it sit on the warmer for a while. I have to give Mr. Mikes 1 star. We ordered food at 5:15 PM and at 7:10 PM, we still had no idea where our food was at. So I called. I was informed that online orders are unpredictable and they only have one driver. I said after 2 hours of waiting, at what point are we still expected to pay for this food? She says let me talk to a manager. The manager tells me the same lines. No mention of any type of refund, coupons, or anything really to show they care about customer service. The order eventually does show up but was missing our drinks. At this point I told my wife we were done with this place because I'm not waiting till 9 to get the drinks we ordered around 5. My husband and in-laws have ordered the Bella's party platters for years, and the hubs has always picked this place to eat/drink on his birthday, until now. For the past couple of years there has been a sharp decline in the quality of food (think fast food), the availability of the menu items, and the service. Although the portions are consistent, the taste and temperature of the food is not. When MM runs out of food items, they simply cross it off of the paper menu instead of ordering more. Food is brought to the table in no logical order (Entrées are brought out with appetizers, and meals are brought out at a different times). Service is slow, and is usually blamed on the small kitchen. I've had great drinks when I'm with a known local at the bar, but get served watered down well liquor when dining. Although I have given this place quite a few chances, I can't excuse the atmosphere. There's a noticeable difference in treatment with dining patrons versus regular bar customers. If you're not a not regular, it seems as if staff and patrons go out of their way to make you feel uncomfortable and unwanted. For some reason there's sports on TVs that are muted, while the jukebox is blaring music, and live bands compete with the noise of the bar. I'm out of reasons/excuses to return, so see you never Mr. Mike's. read more

Horrible experience on Friday, March 10th at 6:30pm (didn't get food brought out until 7:15). It was not busy. No one acknowledged us when we arrived. I was with my husband and my son. I had to find someone to ask if we were supposed to seat ourselves. Once seated, it took 6 minutes before anyone came to our table. She asked what we would like, but we were never given menus. She brought menus and said she didn't think she had kid menus, but she'd check. She did not have any. I asked what the choices were, and she was not positive what came with it. She said it probably comes with Oranges and fries. We ordered 2 waters and a chocolate milk (took 20 minutes to actually get our drinks). My son's chocolate milk was white - until I discovered they didn't actually mix it up. We were not given any Silverware at this point, so I tried my best with the crappy straw. When we ordered our food, it took a long time to arrive. My wrap barely had any chicken, had a ton of cheese, didn't have the onions that were listed on the menu, but had the tomatoes I told her I did not want. Fries tasted like a bag of frozen McCain fries. My son's meal apparently came with a go-gurt. The pull tab was missing, so w couldn't open it. I asked for scissors. She grabbed it to show me how to "just try this" because it's not like I didn't already try to open it. I also told her we needed Silverware and napkins at this point. She brought 2 sets and walked away and pretty much didn't come back until the end of our meal. I shared a napkin with my son for most of the meal. I was able to get her to get a couple more napkins. My husband used his pocket knife to open our son's go-gurt. When the waitress came by she asked how it was. I said something like, "Eh, it was ok I guess." So she said, "Can you tell me what was wrong, because I'm kind of the person in charge of this whole place." I told her most of the things I listed above: specifically not knowing the kids menu, my wrap issues, and her never coming back to open my son's go-gurt. When she came back, she told us she gave us a discount, because we didn't seem happy with our food and said she hopes we give them another try. If this was a first time waitress on her first day, maybe. But to have these issues and then find out your server is the owner, no thank you. I tried again. After some time, figuring let's get a little past Covid and the renovation. So I gave some rope, a lot of rope. It sucks when you want to tip big and it just can't happen - I know it can be tough to be behind the bar, some don't wish to be there and I understand. So I tip at least 20% no matter the service. The staff works hard to make it happen. But at the end of the day I felt simply invisible. I side stepped my favorite, Cafe Supreme (Brandy's), just to try here again and maybe get lucky. I had dubbed their burgers to be the best in Westmoreland County (better than Tessaros and Stinkys only to have been disappointed after a couple of tries back in 2018/2019. Went to a staple that I have always liked, the Sante Fe, sorry to say it did not work for me. So here we are...nothing worse than that feeling of "I can't wait to get outta here". My husband and I love Mr. Mikes! It is a nice local bar/restaurant. We generally get the nachos & seasoned wings. We have tried other things, but those are the BEST! The nachos are what you would dream nachos taste like, warm mushy/crunchy cheesy with the best taco meat, red onions, jalapeños, tomatoes and black olives. This pares nicely with the seasoned whole wings. The seasoning is a beautiful blend of seasonings that delight on your tongue! Mr. Mikes has the best perfectly cooked wings in the area! read more
