It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. While I generally don't like battered fries, these were pretty tasty. The only slight negative was the cost. At almost $30 for my sandwich plus a beer, it seemed a little pricey to me. I also would have preferred the wings actually tossed in the sauce instead of having it poured over the top. My kids got the chicken tenders and fries. They were decent, but those also arrived cold. I also ordered the 8-inch Rooster-style Italian. I didn't realize "Rooster style" meant it would come between pizza dough instead of being a traditional hoagie. Interestingly, this was actually piping hot when it arrived, while the wings, chicken tenders, and fries were cold. I'm not really sure how that happened. The sandwich itself was okay, but it was very dough-heavy and I wish the meat had been spread more evenly throughout. Next time I'd probably just order the regular Italian hoagie. The biggest disappointment was my wife's Buffalo chicken salad. The chicken didn't seem to have any Buffalo sauce on it, the bacon was missing, and both containers of ranch had opened during delivery and spilled all over everything.
