Have been here a couple times before, and visited the Pittsburgh location, so understood the quality of the beer - good selection and most beers are medium/high ranked. Price is pretty fair, given the location. My only concern about the visit was that there was a small outdoor tent/booth selling the same beer for an additional $4 per cup, which is extreme for the area and kind of confusing. You can walk to the interior behind the stage and get the same (as well as more variety) beer for $4-5 less? Unsure whether the lady charged me more than intended but it seemed like a gouge. Be aware of that....it was kind of a bummer.

It had good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give it a go. And I'm glad I did. Everything was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice, the workers were friendly, my waitress Jae was very attentive, and most importantly, the fish sandwich was top notch. It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. While I generally don't like battered fries, these were pretty tasty. The only slight negative was the cost. At almost $30 for my sandwich plus a beer, it seemed a little pricey to me. But sometimes you have to pay for quality. I will return.

There are also times where the wait is unbearably long, staff is inattentive (sometimes even rude) and orders are wrong. That being said, this is the kind of place that I don't go often, but every now and then I crave their hush puppies and fish or chicken. Because whatever batter they use is magical. Friends and I have joked that they should sell the pieces that fall off the fried items as a side because everyone seems to love the crispy batter pieces so much. When the food is cooked fresh, it is delicious! A perfect crisp and packed with flavor. But if you have the unfortunate experience of something that has been out for awhile, you likely get a soggy mess. Their prices are comparable to other fast food in the area and they often have weekly or monthly specials on certain combinations or food items, so definitely check on that. Oh - their drive through area is definitely not the most well maintained. It had a lot of pot holes, so just be aware if you are getting food that way. All that being said, when I have had any issues with food, management was generally apologetic and did what they could to make it right. Not an all the time spot for me, but someplace to enjoy when the craving hits.

It was to order the captain's platter, off of their secret menu. But of course nobody knew what I was talking about.. It was to order all of their fried meats off of the menu. All of our orders came out at the same time nothing was burnt or overcooked. Everything a good flavor for what you expect at Long Johns Silvers. I ordered corn as a side that itself is very nasty. I don't recommend that. Now for service, it was friendly and accurate. The bathroom however was heavily dated and a little gross lacking paper towels, and overall cleanliness. Has an over experience I would come back here. I would probably order the same thing again for the most part..

There are many other items on the menu as well; from spaghetti to ravioli to manicotti and even gnocchi. I have no doubt they are as delicious as the pizza. I would recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating there in the future.

The portion of onion rings was not large. There was however more than enough food and it wasn't priced that badly. They had a small draft beer offering. A beer list would have been nice but when I asked for a draft list she said we don't have one, but this (pointing) is what we have. My final take is that this place is okay, not amazing. You can tell that this is a newer location than some that are out there. Great layout, open feel to it, cleaner than some people's houses. There are more than enough pumps outside to get your fuel, but inside is what really makes this place a great asset for the community. Inside you will find all the items you have come to expect from any convenience store, let alone Sheetz. Coolers filled to the brim with a drink of your choice. Individual snacks fill the shelves.
