It took about 15 minutes just for someone to take our drink order. Our waitress explained there was a delay due to staff singing happy birthday, which we understood. When our waitress checked on us, we mentioned the missing pizza, and she explained it comes from a separate line and would be out later. That was fine, but no effort was made to check on it or follow up. We nearly finished all of our food, and still no pizza. Our waitress then returned with boxes and the check, asking if we needed anything else. At that point, I again mentioned the missing pizza. She rolled her eyes and repeated that it comes from a different line. By then, we were already done eating and no longer wanted it. What followed was extremely unprofessional. After we declined the pizza, she stormed off, removed it from the bill, then came back holding the pizza, dropped the check on the table, and said, "Well here it is--you don't want it?!" She then offered the pizza to a nearby table in an irritated tone. When I said I would be mentioning this in my review, she responded, "I don't know why you're so mad, I did nothing wrong." When I tried to calmly explain the situation from a customer perspective, she interrupted, put her hand up toward me, and said, "Whatever, I don't care, you're nasty." She then continued speaking negatively about us to coworkers within earshot. This was one of the most unprofessional dining experiences I've ever had. There was no apology at any point, no accountability, and no basic courtesy such as thanking us or acknowledging us when we left.
