Wow, what an amazing gem for the small quaint town of Mount Pleasant. This town has been plagued historically with low quality food, frozen garbage and lack of ambience. Finally, we can get a fresh high-quality meal at a fair price in the local town that we all love. The flavor and seasoning on all the food was fantastic truly delicious from the quality of the ingredients to the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of the new facility updates. We're really excited to make this or go to place in town.

Diner beware. Arrived for a first time visit to the Tuscan Table & Tavern for dinner. Upon entering the restaurant, we were shown to our table in the dining room. There was only one table of 4 ladies in the dining room. A server asked the ladies if they wanted desserts and they declined. Next the server asked the ladies if any needed to-go boxes. The server left and returned with boxes then acknowledged another table of two ladies who were seated at least 8 minutes after we were first seated saying he would be over to them shortly. We continued to sit and wait for a server to approach us for a first time. The server returned to the two ladies seated after we were and took their drink orders and walked away again without acknowledging us. At this point, we've been seated and waiting at least 14 minutes. At that point, my wife and I agreed to leave. As we walked to the door, I mentioned to the hostess our experience. She had no comment. I can not recommend this "restaurant " as there was zero service and maybe the same could be said about food.

Tuscan Table and Tavern, is a new addition to the Jaffre's restaurant group . Jaffre's took over the location of Leo's Pub in Mt Pleasant and opened their new restaurant in mid May of 2025. Being a new restaurant we were anxious to give it a try but apprehensive about how the service might be in a new restaurant. I'm happy to say that the service and the quality of food was excellent. The restaurant was crowded they don't take reservations, but we had a minimal wait, and were seated in less than 10 minutes. The wait staff was very friendly and quick to take our food orders, the food arrived quickly and everyone in our group was pleased with the q

Everything I've ever had here has been excellent. I've only eaten near the bar and the bartender provides excellent service.

Very friendly calm restaurant, they do achieve a calm ambience with a slightly smaller parking lot but that's not an issue. They deserve a bigger parking lot and more customers but either way, they're doing it right here. I got the "fiesta" which was a fried tortilla bowl containing mixed greens, pico de gallo, avocado, corn salsa, cheese, grilled chicken and homemade ranch for $16. Very worth it. While I eat small portions, a normal person should expect to be satisfied with this amount of food. It was everything I wanted in a salad. The waitress was very friendly and polite. It had good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give it a go. And I'm glad I did. Everything was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice, the workers were friendly, my waitress Jae was very attentive, and most importantly, the fish sandwich was top notch. It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. While I generally don't like battered fries, these were pretty tasty. The only slight negative was the cost. At almost $30 for my sandwich plus a beer, it seemed a little pricey to me. But sometimes you have to pay for quality. I will return.

A Hidden Gem Worth Leaving the Turnpike For! After making…read morethe drive between Northern Virginia and Ohio for more than 20 years, we couldn't believe we had never discovered Out of the Fire Café before. Anyone who regularly travels the Pennsylvania Turnpike knows how hard it is to find a truly memorable place to eat. This one is absolutely worth the short detour. The atmosphere is charming, the view is beautiful, and the food exceeded every expectation. We had to try their famous mushroom soup, and even though I'm not normally a mushroom fan, it was hands-down one of the best cups of soup I've ever had. The smoked salmon salad was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the Filet Mignon Sandwich special, and every bite was packed with incredible flavor. Our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made us feel right at home and added to what was already a wonderful dining experience. We finished with the Bananas Foster. While it wasn't the tableside flaming presentation you'd find at a fine-dining restaurant, the flavor was outstanding and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. We'll definitely be making Out of the Fire Café a tradition on our future trips. If you're traveling the Pennsylvania Turnpike, do yourself a favor and make the stop--you won't regret it!
