We grabbed four coveted bar seats on a Friday night. Some bars make it difficult to eat because they're too high or have a raised edge but this bar is very easy to navigate. The bartenders were all fantastic too. We shared the grilled pretzel with pub cheese & sweet mustard which was decent but a tad dried out from the grilling. The flavors were good. The Faroe Island grilled salmon over grilled cauliflower and Yukon Gold potatoes was really delicious. We would definitely order that again. The music was a country artist and not so overly loud that we couldn't talk so that was a plus. It's a packed restaurant though so it gets pretty loud. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely return. They have a nice menu and beer selection. read more

Mahi mahi yooooooo Mahi with those veggies and that sauce l.. Ooooo weeeeeee!! Never tried this establishment. Menu was awesome. Atmosphere was relaxing with a twist. Bar was like -- yo cuzzo you could run this bar . #givemealltheregs It's 42 miles away though. Winter is probably slower.. Our server was basically semi attentive at best though. We come here every once in a while for an early dinner/late lunch and we've never had a bad meal. It's usually not too busy at the time we come in which makes the atmosphere enjoyable. Love the buffalo chicken wrap, but the real star is the mushroom soup! I could eat it every day. Finish your meal with the peanut butter mousse cheesecake. Oh. My. Gosh. It's heaven. Just pure heaven. read more

We stopped in for lunch and were seated right away. The restaurant did fill up quickly so I would suggest a reservation. We started with onion dip (yum!) and then had sandwiches and soup for lunch. The portions were large and I thought the price was a good value. The restaurant itself was very clean and well care for. read more

The food is good but nothing standout. The service is terrible. Literally waited 45 minutes for two chicken sandwiches. When the sandwich's finally came to us, one was not as ordered. read more

Really nice place to grab some lunch. Their Blue Cheese & Pear Salad is my favorite salad anywhere. There are always new appetizers to check out. Jackie is the nicest server there. Sometimes they get busy and service lags a bit but its no worse than anywhere else. I've never been during evening hours nor have I frequented the bar so I can't speak on those. Lunchtime though, worth a stop. Try the salad! Oh, and they heat up the pita perfectly! Noise level is pretty low considering the bar size and all the televisions. Never have to speak loudly to be hear. Handicap parking is in the back so the walk to the door is a little long. Not difficult. Inside there is plenty of room to maneuver between tables. read more

It's been a year since I've been there bartenders are top notch the appetizers suck they used to be great had the nachos during the game very disappointed read more

First time at the Firepit. We called at 4:00 on Friday for reservation and the woman on the phone was rude but we got one for 6:00. We sat in a corner area near the bar. There are quite a few tables, a large bar area and a covered porch area to sit. It was PACKED and extremely loud. We tried the pulled pork sandwich, ribs, burger and pizza. The work sandwich and burger was good, the ribs and pizza were ehhhh.. our waitress was great and handled such a busy night perfect. Maybe we will try it on a week night next time. read more

We visited for a family member's birthday. I was checking out the Yelp score before we went and was slightly worried. The low scores seem to be focused on the service received and not the food or facilities. I can honestly say that we experienced no issues with the service. Our server was nice and also was attentive to our group of 6. The restaurant seemed clean and somewhat newer. The menu was okay, not outstanding. We got an app of chicken tenders which were decent. Two of us ordered burgers. Actually we both got the same burger, the throwback. It was okay, but I will say both were overcooked. We asked for medium and got closer to well done. The fries were good. My son ordered the chicken with asparagus and enjoyed it. My daughter ordered a pizza and liked it as well. If back in the area, I would try it again. read more

I called in the morning and made a reservation for for 5:15 that afternoon, the person that I spoke with couldn't have been more accommodating in determining what our needs were and where we might want to sit, when we arrived, our table was waiting, we were seated and our drink orders were taken right away. The staff and service were outstanding our food orders came out in a reasonable amount of time. Some members of our group were happy with their selections and others were not, overall I'd say it's pretty typical bar food. I chose this restaurant because of its location being a midway point for our group coming from three different directions. read more

I was super excited to find this place while traveling through but I do think we stopped at an "off time." We were one of the first tables here, and the restaurant did fill up quickly. The bruschetta chicken I ordered was horrible, the chicken portion was extremely small and I had to cut off/toss out several bites that were tough and gross. Additionally, it was doused in the balsamic glaze so I couldn't really judge the taste of the food. I was sharing with our toddler so requested to sub the asparagus with fresh veggies, they did so and also charged a generous upcharge to do so. I did confirm there was no charge before ordering but I guess that wasn't the case. The potatoes on my dish were not cooked completely, needless to say I did not finish my plate here. My husbands burger was "ok" which was surprising because it looked yummy. Bar was hopping for steeler game. We don't live in the neighborhood so I'm not sure if we would stop again. read more

I like the food here. Had the pear goat cheese salad and it was delicious. They were pretty busy and service was timely. The bar area is nice too but it's pretty loud. Have also been there for live music. read more

Have been here multiple times since our first. Every time here has been good food & fair price!. Tonight we are a party of 3 on a packed Saturday night. 25 min wait & seated! Live music - the place is hopping at 7 pm. We ordered some classics- fire pit burger, smoked wings with 2 of the special sauces & steak tacos! Our server Taylor was wonderful. Friendly, attentive & hustled. read more

Food was a mixed bag. I got the lunchtime soup/salad combo. I was excited for the mushroom soup but it was beyond salty! Yikes!! The salad was ok but the baby greens were difficult to pick up and really stick to the teeth! I couldn't wait to get home and floss. Husband liked his pulled pork and the onion rings, though the one onion ring I ate wasn't done in the middle! His charred Caesar salad was...interesting? Overall, there's potential but the food wasn't at its best on our visit. read more

Worst Macncheese I've ever had... was just buttered noodles and was like they weren't even whole.

The dinner atmosphere was lacking. Vacuum at 8:40pm. Vacuuming definetly ruined it. The meal was good. Sirloin steak. They sweetened the arugula and corn topping which was offputting. Arugula is enjoyed for its astringent bitter peppery taste, sweetening didnt work well with it read more

I love the Faroe salmon dinner there. They have excellent mushroom soup also. The wait staff are very attentive, pleasant atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere and good food. it seems to be a popular place for people to meet. I especially like to go there for lunch.

Always great food and an even better atmosphere. Every time I've been here, the experience has been consistent from start to finish. The food never disappoints--fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you're hoping for. Definitely one of those go-to spots you can count on. read more

The food was ok. I had the Mac and cheese and it was a little dry. The service was a little slow. The restaurant itself was beautiful.

We are a hospice company that recently hosted a celebration luncheon for our hospice volunteers. We reserved the party room and from start to finish our experience was wonderful! Not only were our waitresses kind and organized, they were helpful and friendly too. The special touches - from the personalized menu they printed to permitting us to bring our own tablecloth and small items for each place setting - made everyone feel welcomed. And best of all - everyone enjoyed what he/she ordered, and the food - especially the salmon - was cooked to perfection! Thank you, thank you, thank you lovely Firepit staff for such a fabulous experience! read more

Yum, just came home from The Firepit after having dinner with friends. I generally eat the same things over and over: Salmon dinner or a pear and blue cheese salad. Tried Chef Mark's steak salad tonight. My new favorite! Amazing service by Rochelle and the wonderful "runner" whose name I should have asked. read more

Dependable, good quality, ambiance was a little touchy last time since we happened to go (and be sat) right in front of the live band . The kids had a blast listening to the music, though, so for as loud as that was- great entertainment and they loved it! Standard menu, we always end up ordering the Mac and cheese. The salads here are fresh, and filling when you choose to add a protein. Servers are always sweet. Glad it's here close to home ! read more

when I went to The Firepit we had terrible service. The first time we went they completely ignored us so we left, the second time we went there they told us that the kitchen was closed even though it says on their website that they clos at 11 pm and we went at 9 pm. I do NOT recommend this restaurant. read more

Walked in last Saturday with a party of 7. We were told there would be no outdoor availability. The problem was how rude and unaccommodating the woman checking us in was. We totally understood we couldn't sit outside. We said maybe we could sit at the bar. The woman then said curtly there aren't enough seats. We left. I've never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant in my life. read more

We went to the restaurant last night. First of all we sat for almost 45 minutes without anyone taking your order. Then another 45 minutes just to get chicken that tasted like rubber and the salad had hardly any lettuce. It was all bacon and pears. The girl was terribly slow that was waiting on us. I can't recommend this restaurant to anybody. The table was dirty and needed it wiped. Save your money. Don't go here. read more

Waited only 20 minutes for a table on a Saturday evening. Hopes were high. Our server was perfectly adequate, but it took 90+ minutes to get two sandwiches and a kids meal. If our server had been more attentive, we'd have just asked for the check for our drinks and left. The acoustics are terrible, so this isn't the place for conversation over dinner. The food was good, but eating anything when everybody's in a foul mood from a ridiculous wait kind of ruins the vibe. We won't dine in ever again, but hopefully will have a better experience spending the rest of our gift card on takeout. read more

Service was terrible, I tried talking to the manger and she had a terrible attitude and was not helpful what so ever

We've been going to Firepit since it opened. Our past two reservation in a row, were confirmed under the awning. When we showed up, they said there were two large groups there and seated us in the sun. The first time, we had a group of six. They seated us at a table for four. We didn't fit. It was 90 degrees in blazing sun. This time, we left. read more

I used to like this restaurant for the lunch specials. But yesterday ... I don't know if they changed recipes or cooks or what. I got my usual salmon with roasted Parmesan cauliflower and roasted potato blend. The salmon was delicious as usual but the vegetables were inedible. They were hard and the potatoes had so much spice you couldn't taste them. All you got was heat and a red, oily residue on the plate. I took the vegetables home thinking that I could add them to soup. Nope. Not even broth, beans, and more potatoes could tame the heat. read more

In general, the locals seem to either love it or hate it. Most of the complaints I've heard is that it's too expensive for what you get. So before I posted a review I wanted to try it more than once. In my opinion it's worth a visit. Tonight I had their steak "street tacos". I'm a fan. Not a huge portion, but they were really good. The waitress was very patient with us...we took quite a while to finally order because we were just enjoying the conversation. But she knew the menu and could answer questions when we finally got ourselves together. The decor inside is meh. They have a nice outside area, but it overlooks a parking lot. Two thumbs up for the beer selection though...lots of choices including some real local craft breweries which is something I always appreciate. Maybe the bill was a little on the high side, but the food and beer were really good. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit. read more

I've been here a number of times. I always have a good experience here, never outstanding, but good. It's a solid, reliable restaurant. Don't expect to be able to sit outside on a nice day if you don't have reservations though, we've been turned away a few times when we wanted to sit outside. The inside is fine, just if there's a band outside you won't be able to hear them from inside. I usually get a sandwich or burger here, they're always good, fries are always hot and fresh tasting. I'm glad to have this restaurant in the area! read more
