First of all, didn't realize they closed pretty early on a Friday but when we got there it was very busy. We ordered the salad bar but wasnt told they were shutting it down in 20 min. The chili and chicken noodle soup was empty and many people told multiple employees and it was never refilled. I asked my server for chicken noodle soup and she brought me a bowl which was so super salty I could only eat the noodles and I left the broth. We had to ask for silverware and straws after we sat for 10 min with our salads. The salad bar was not clean, it was an absolute mess. The manager was bussing tables and clanging and clanking silverware and dishes. It was so loud. My husband had to ask for a burger and fries because there was hardly anything on it and they closed it up. Poorly managed. read more

Ordered a Mushroom and Swiss Omelet and I have a tumor in my tongue so I can only eat soft foods so I didn't want the potatoes or fruit and asked for (2) two pancakes. The Omelet was terrible. One piece of swiss cheese on the outside, none inside. The mushrooms weren't cooked at all. The worst Omelet I have ever had. The Pancakes were OK but they charged me $6.99 for two pancakes. They were not that good for that price. I guess a substitution isn't possible? Next time I'll drive the extra couple minutes to Cracker Barrel where the Eggs, Pancakes and I have the Steak (rare) are awesome. And if I want more Pancakes it's $2.99 and the syrup is way better also. And extra butter and syrup shouldn't take 10 minutes. We lived in North Huntingdon for 25 years, just recently moving to the South Hills of Pittsburgh to our be nearer to our parents who are in their 90's. Dad still likes a Superburger and fries from Eat n Park, and their coffee is still outstanding. What gets me isn't the food or service, but ALL the negative reviews provided on this site! No WONDER businesses are having difficulty hiring workers if this is the way they're going be treated. We've noticed this attitude shift over the past five years ever since emerging from the pandemic. My wife and I had the whale of a fish. She had it on the plate and I got the sandwich. The fish was awesome. Hung out of the bun and was really crispy Tartar was good and the fries were crispy. Cole slaw was also very good flavor. I'll go back soon. read more

Tara was my waitress.she has been there for years... I asked for my eggs over REAL EASY.. now a good waitress checks the order before bringing it to the table... the mere fact that my eggs were a solid yellow on top, indicates the waitress didn't check her food before bringing it to the table... this didn't happen!! The second thing is, I've complained to management in person numerous times about the simple way of putting butter on toast... they have a melted butter bowl in the back that has a pastry brush they use to DAB THEIR TOAST. Now it takes 5 seconds to put a butter knife in a butter bowl that. Is not melted and butter some toast! I've been doing it for 55 years.. it's not rocket science! If I wanted to butter my own toast, i would have stayed home and prepared my own breakfast. I would have mentioned it to my waitress, but I was starved and would have probably put her in tears. What was so comical was that she was so oblivious to the bad service that she asked my wife and i to leave a review on yelp! I went this morning to get food and my daughter got the breakfast buffet. To start off the eggs were googy and not cooked properly. Then they were out of most everything. The bacon once it was brought after 15 minutes, was RAW. The buffet was disgusting, there was old ketchup on "clean" plates. Our server was great and tried to help with the bacon by microwaving it! that should give you an idea of how this place is run. Just look at these photos!! I stopped here after my haircut which is my normal routine. The young male waiter was spot on service, but I forgot his name. My go to breakfast is called the super griddle with Fruit ( eating healthy, ya right...), French Toast, 3 strips of Bacon, Scrambled Eggs with Texas Toast, and that's what I got today. If you are early like I think until 11 am, you get $1 off Monday-Friday, so great value, descent food and normally great service here with super nice Employee's, at least at this location. read more

I've been to this eat n park a number of times, they are normally busy. During this trip I ordered one of my favorites, the super burger along with their salad bar and a Diet Pepsi (Sugar and I do not get along)-my date ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with the salad bar and a Pepsi...you wouldn't think this would be a difficult order after all we pick up half of it ourselves. Let me paint the picture-we come back from the salad bar, goodies in hand to 2 wrapped sets of silverware tossed on our table (no placemats no drinks)...ok, well at least we can start eating. We eat, and eat... Salad almost gone no sight of our drinks or waitress... Oh! Our waitress we see her! Clapping and singing happy birthday! At that point I gave up hope of ever receiving our drinks so I went to the front of the building asking someone else if she could get us our beverages. When I returned to the table our food was there and still no drinks...disappointing to say the least. I hadn't even gotten to taste my now cold soup or finish my salad-then it happened, one of my biggest pet peeves: our hot food is here, trip 1 to the salad bar 3/4 eaten, I haven't even touched my soup and still have nothing to was it down...so we sit. Finally our waitress brings our beverages (and quickly leaves never to return to see if our order was correct)! And mine is a, you guessed it - regular Pepsi (at this point I had no choice but to drink it, and yes it made me sick, I could only manage to eat half my sandwich) my date had needed mayo, but choked his burger down without because she never returned...then I saw her cleaning a table on the other side of our wall... "Ma'am-I received a Pepsi but needed a Diet Pepsi", she brought it and quickly exited. The next time we saw her was when we were sitting there not eating obviously ready to leave, only at that point did she ask if there was "anything else" we asked for our check. We spent $26 for a really bad experience-there are so many places to eat in the North Huntingdon area, any of them would have been a better choice. It will be a long time before I step foot in ENP again. I will say the food was decent for what it is-way to go kitchen team-the service team needs coaching and development because this was not our first bad service experience here. read more

I love supporting locally operated restaurants and businesses as often as possible. For this reason, I find myself at one of the many Pittsburgh area Eat' N Parks at least twice a month. Whether I choose to visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner I always seem to find something satisfying to eat. I enjoy their famous soup and salad bar and I am usually pleased with the selection and freshness of everything on it. Their employees are dedicated and hard working. I waited for 15 minutes finally spoke to a manager who tried to say that she packed all of my dinners in the bag and said she could not dispute the fact that the dinner was missing. I asked her how long this was going to refix my meal. She said because of how busy they were she could not guarantee me a time. She said that she could not dispute the fact that it was In correct. She was very short with us at the beginning but then she started to butt into our discussions out of no where as if she has a seat at the table. Odd. Overall, a happy and surprisingly good dining experience! The salad bar was very fresh with nice, tripe fruits and fresh lettuce, spinach, and salad topping. They have a great selection of fresh baked pies, muffins, and these really yummy honey pinwheel rolls. The prices are good ($7.99 or $8.99 for the salad bar). The staff is friendly and helpful...AND, there are the cutest little things in the shop. All smiles! Two thumbs up from me! read more

I rarely find myself at this ENP because it always seems so busy. In fact, the whole plaza with Target and Giant Eagle is out of control crowded most of the time. However, the other day, my husband and I were out running errands and were both in the mood for breakfast. We agreed that if it didn't look too busy, we'd stop here. Glad we did! We were seated immediately upon arrival and were greeted a minute or so later by our waitress. The H noticed that there was a 'Breakfast Smile" special from 5am - 11am, which consisted of 2 eggs, your choice of 3 strips of bacon, sausage, or turkey sausage, your choice of a fruit cup, hash browns, or home fries, and your choice of bread. I opted for scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, fruit, and an english muffin. He got dippy eggs (sunny side up, for those not familiar with the term), turkey sausage, home fries, and wheat toast. Meals were $4.99 each. I was happy with mine, but actually could have eaten a little more. The fruit, which was melon, cantaloupe, bananas, and pineapple, was surprisingly fresh. My husband liked his also. But, again, could have probably eaten a complete second meal. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but not annoying or overbearing. My husband had coffee and I had an iced tea, both of which she was prompt to refill. With tax, our bill was around $15. Cons: Parking lot is crap. It doesn't look like a traditional parking lot, as it is a single row that wraps around the building. However, there is ample parking close by, since - as I mentioned already - it is in the same plaza as Giant Eagle, Target, a dollar store, a gym, Bob Evans, etc. On a side note, it's been a while since I've had one but their pies are delicious, especially their banana cream, which is my favorite. Another side note: About 14 or 15 years ago - when I was about 22, a friend and I stopped in for 'breakfast' after a concert at like 3am. Our waitress was pretty nonexistent. So, when we went to leave, we simply left the money on the table, with a small tip. As we walked by the counter, we told another employee that we haven't seen our waitress, money is on the table. She said okay. A minute later, when we out by the truck, a manager comes running out saying we did't pay. We explained the situation and offered to go back in with her. Lo and behold, the money was there on the table, next to the check! I guess we were two still-half-drunk girls at a restaurant at 3 in the morning. But thieves, we are not. She apologized profusely. Too bad it wasn't busier, I would have loved it if there were a bunch of customer around and I could have embarrassed the crap out of that woman. We moved into town from Chicago ten years ago, and this was the first restaurant in the Norwin area that we tried. We've been regulars ever since. The servers are amazing (they know what you need way before you do), the food is quality, dependable and FRESH. Very kid-friendly: they offer free baby food (bananas), a great kids' menu, and a Smiley cookie (if approved by the parents) after every kids' meal. It's the place in town where you always bump into so someone you know (or several someones!) and where you can always get a great meal at a good price at any hour. I feel the food quality is a lot lower than Eat n' Parks closer to the city center. Service can be great, or awful. Ultimately, I prefer the Denny's that's close by. This is my local Eat n Park, and I have always enjoyed coming here with friends after the game on Friday nights when I was in high school. They have decent food for decent prices. However, I was very sad to find out that this location no longer has the Midnight buffets. That was the best feature of Eat n Park, and I cant believe it is no longer there. Wow... where to begin. First, servers were great. A seasoned older lady with killer personality was training a timid just-out-of high school girl. Not a problem. The food was awful. I got the famous strawberry chicken salad with wilted, brown lettuce & the most gloopy salad dressing the consistency of rubber cement. The chicken & tons of strawberries were decent. My son got soup & salad bar. Big whoop. Selection was very limited, (but the white lettuce was crispy )& soups were watery. He also got loaded fries and the cheese (canned,I know) on it was actually soured. Sent it back & order plain fries. No problem. Minutes later, a second fry order showed. 2 servers, remember) She saw we had gotten our fries and took that one away. Well on the bill, we were not charged for the spoiled fries, but charged for 2 fry orders even though only got one. Did not dispute this. Paid bill& tipped the duo well, wasn't their fault food was awful. Probs will NOT go back tho. read more

This is our go to restaurant when we're looking for an average dinner date. They consistently have great food. We usually get the turkey club and the buffalo chicken wrap as our meal. Other times, when we go out to eat for a late night snack, we buy multiple appetizers which are usually the cheese sticks and fried zucchini. All there food is consistently good. I love the staff here, and personally know a good bit of them because we eat their enough. This is a simple American restaurant. With that in mind, there food is also reasonably priced, and the dining area is usually clean. I would highly recommend! read more
