This is a really small dinning place on one small truck stop. However their scrumble eggs are really delicious. Service is amazing. However if you want to leave a tip you're gonna have to go inside the truck stop pay for food and whatever the tip that you would like to leave, you have to cash back it.

Looking for someplace to stop off 70. This popped up. Glad we tried it. Clean bathrooms, friendly service. Food came out hot, tasted great. Toast best my cousin had. Lots of butter. Great find

    Delicious club sandwich!

Nice little truck stop diner right off the 84 exit on route 70. Lots of choices on the menu for a reasonable price. I ordered the club sandwich. It was so fresh and flavorful and stacked on nice crispy toast. I was very impressed. I would have given 5 stars if the service was a little better. The waitress dropped off our check without asking if we wanted any dessert. I wanted to try a slice of the blackberry pie! Oh well, maybe next time. I would return to Duke's Diner!

Greasy spoon attached to the old truck stop. Menu has a lot of options and they are open early. Not fancy at all, but a good hot breakfast.

    Great portions and prices

The food was surprisingly good and the prices were awesome! Our server, Ashley, was very attentive and nice. We will definitely go back!

The staff couldn't be friendlier; they make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time walking in. Even if you're just stopping by for a quick coffee, it's worth it. MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST IN PITTSBURGH/THE STATE/AND 2ND OF ALL TIME…read more Everything here was fucking perfect and it was just all staple diner food in the best version possible. Absolutely nothing crazy (minus the French toast) that is just NAILED. And THE PRICES are so awesome The Hot Mess. Massive, loaded and delicious. That's not an omelette either.. that's their scrambled eggs loaded with potatoes and smothered it their insane sausage gravy. The biscuits with it. Right out the oven fresh, so soft, not dry in the slightest and honestly didn't even need anything on it. The corned beef hash was probably the best I've had. I never had it was such a great crisp/crunch to it. That is my new standard for corned beef hash The pancakes. The best in Pittsburgh and my top 3-5 of all time. I hate the hotcake style which you see in Pittsburgh MINUS the crisp with it. But I don't want that throughout the entire thing, I still want my fluff. This delivered that PERFECTLY. Great crisp on just the edges and the fluff in the middle. Absolutely perfect THE BOSTON CREME FRENCH TOAST. My second favorite breakfast item I've gotten in Pittsburgh. You will rarely see me get French Toast unless it's recommended a decent bit or just looks nuts. THIS is my favorite French toast I've had and I hate Boston Creme 90% of the time. It always gets too overfilled, and too sweet of a custard. NOT HERE. The chocolate topping was perfect, not just a basic syrup people buy at the store that is so overpowering. Can 1000% tell homemade. The custard had the perfect amount of sweet ratio for amount they give Warning it's small inside with minimal seating and you will have to wait. I drove 50 for it and waited 35 for a table. I would drive 2 hours and wait another 2. I will be returning numerous times ESPECIALLY when they have the Bear Claw Pancake Special

We took advantage of the "drink samples" which was a personal experience with the owner, where we tried each and every drink they made in house.. this was free, and a great start to our dinner. The ambiance was a little wild, very dark.. interesting taste in decor (haha) but very classy, nonetheless. Portions were generous and the price was too. For dinner for my husband and me, I made a reservation through OpenTable. The seating hostess and the waitress served us promptly and politely. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Chef's Cheese Board - 4.5 stars - This appetizer contained two cheeses, two cured meats, bread, and jelly. Prince Edward Island Mussels - 4.5 stars - This entree was a special. A large bowl of mussels was covered in Thai coconut red curry sauce, lime, mint, basil, and cilantro. On the side was a grilled baguette and garlic potatoes. Duck - 4 stars - The duck breast was cooked well, but my husband would have preferred a larger serving size. The waitress said that it was covered in a blueberry sauce, but it tasted like BBQ to us. After eating this entree, my husband still felt hungry. On the side were asparagus and risotto that had an OK flavor. Creme brûlée - 4.5 stars - This creme brûlée was topped with strawberries. Some liquid also sat on top, but the sugar was appropriately hard. Armen's Barrels Blackberry Sangria - 5 stars - This sangria was made from Armen's Barrels Concord wine, and it tasted delicious. The total price for our meal was $123 plus a tip. Customers may book private events at the restaurant. Customers may also book tours of the production facility to see the equipment and the process of making wines, vodkas, and brandies.

Here are my ratings for what we ate: Chopped Salad - 4.5 stars - Iceberg lettuce was topped with grape tomatoes, cucumbers, green olives, croutons, bacon, and parmigiano-reggiano cheese. Bistecca Wedge Salad - 4.5 stars - Roughly half of a head of lettuce was topped with smoked bacon, onions, bleu cheese, and gorgonzola crumble. (No tomatoes at my husband's request.) Salmon Oscar - 4.5 stars - Atlantic salmon was grilled and topped with flavorful colossal lump crab, asparagus, and hollandaise. Filet mignon - 5 stars - My husband ordered a 10-ounce filet mignon, and the chef cooked it medium-rare as requested. On the side was béarnaise sauce. My husband enjoyed this steak very much. Au Gratin Potatoes - 4.5 stars - This side dish looked like "potato lasagna." Potatoes were thinly sliced and layered so they looked like lasagna. The cheesy sauce tasted good. New York Cheese Cake - 4.5 stars - The slice of this cake was a good size. It had a nice cheesy flavor, and we liked its graham crust, strawberry sauce, and sweet whipped cream. We drank water and did not order beverages. The total cost for this meal was $171 plus a tip.

We came in after a round of golf to relax and have a bite to eat. The meat portions on our sandwiches were so small that any cook there should've been embarrassed to serve it. As you can see from the picture, and please note, it's supposed to be a tall boy which means extra meat, there is nothing on the bun except the hard green tomato and a slice of crappy deli. They also should've just apologized in advance when serving us that our supplier gave us terrible tomatoes so we left them off the sandwich. Every other primantis I have been too has had atleast double this tiny "portion" size of meat. We're literally paying extra for a bigger sandwich and yet we got a slice of meat on a bun. Out of character for my boyfriend, he said something to the bartender about there being no meat. And she reluctantly said I'll request a new one. Then, prior to receiving the new sandwich, the bartender confronted us about the size of the sandwich, like we were being difficult, and continued with it was pre-portioned to be the same size as all other Primantis locations and would not be larger or better. All we took from this is its pre-made the day before and not fresh in any way. Given that all we said was, there's no meat and a green tomato on my bun, which is not our normal experience at Primantis, we're disappointed. She then said, If you want, Ill take both sandwiches off the bill so you'll have a free sandwich. You know, the sandwich we never ate!!! All my boyfirend said was yes, take it off the bill and close us out. And he did say its not a free sandwich if I didn't eat it!! Too bad Jim Patrinos doesn't still own the business as he would be so embarrassed at what this primantis has become. The manager (Ryan) did come over, without us requesting, to address our experience. So clearly he was clearly alerted to our dissatisfaction. He apologized profusely, made a completely new sandwich, even though we said no thanks as we needed to leave, and comped part of our check that we had already paid. Obviously to anyone reading this, Primantis will only go so far for the consumer and must be in horrible financial straights since they should've comped the whole bill. What's two drinks to a company this size, right? Well, apparently they will go out of business if you get a extra slice of meat or drink to make up for them serving you what is unacceptable for any consumer. It will take a lot for me to visit a Primanti's in the future. Their food has been going down hill for years and barely edible.
