Here are my ratings for what we ate: Chopped Salad - 4.5 stars - Iceberg lettuce was topped with grape tomatoes, cucumbers, green olives, croutons, bacon, and parmigiano-reggiano cheese. Bistecca Wedge Salad - 4.5 stars - Roughly half of a head of lettuce was topped with smoked bacon, onions, bleu cheese, and gorgonzola crumble. (No tomatoes at my husband's request.) Salmon Oscar - 4.5 stars - Atlantic salmon was grilled and topped with flavorful colossal lump crab, asparagus, and hollandaise. Filet mignon - 5 stars - My husband ordered a 10-ounce filet mignon, and the chef cooked it medium-rare as requested. On the side was béarnaise sauce. My husband enjoyed this steak very much. Au Gratin Potatoes - 4.5 stars - This side dish looked like "potato lasagna." Potatoes were thinly sliced and layered so they looked like lasagna. The cheesy sauce tasted good. New York Cheese Cake - 4.5 stars - The slice of this cake was a good size. It had a nice cheesy flavor, and we liked its graham crust, strawberry sauce, and sweet whipped cream. We went here for the first time on a Friday night. We had a reservation, and whereas there was a decent crowd, I didn't notice anyone waiting for a table. The restaurant has an upscale and classy vibe. The service is attentive and professional. My husband and I shared the 22oz cowboy ribeye, a fully loaded baked potato and sautéed spinach (picture attached). It was good. Not much daylight between say this restaurant and other upscale steak restaurants like Morton's. I am writing this email because I am very frustrated with how I was handled today by your staff. First I had a reservation for 8 pm 3/14/26 and arrived at 750pm and was greeted by your hostess and was told I wasn't allowed to sit in the back because of my hat I was wearing(which is fine rules are rules but how did she know I wouldn't have taken it off I just felt put off by that comment) but we were going to sit at the high tables like I normally do when I attend the restaurant. We ordered our entrees and drinks our waiter took our order soon as we sat down this is very important.....35-40 mins has passed and still no main dish yet and we've been finished with our entrees..our food comes alil over a hour or so after being seated...I order a tomahawk very very well along with fries and my girlfriend order au-grater potatoes and mushrooms with the chicken smothered in more mushroom well done everything was told to the waiter so much so he had to write it down again so that it was clear how we wanted our food..my steak is bleeding from the very first cut and my fries are lukewarm at best and my girlfriend chicken and mushrooms and au-gratin potatoes are the same and not well done either. How it is possible that I've sat in the restaurant and my food was delivered lukewarm as it was jus brought from the kitchen???????! A short guy with glasses comes as says he was told it takes 40mins to cook well done tomahawk!?! How is it my steak is bleeding out sir was my reply! He kept making excuses which irritated me cause none of what he was trying to say had valid points at all and i send $200plus on dinner each time I come. Bistecca is an excellent fine dining steak house in Washington county! My husband gets the rib eye at every steakhouse we go to and he said that Bistecca's is one of the best! I had the seafood special which was also delicious. We've been to many different steakhouses throughout Pittsburgh and the one in Washington, Pa has been one of our better experiences! This was my third time going to Bistecca, I went with a few others tonight for dinner. I ordered the 7oz filet and a side of gnocchi. The sides here are a shareable size so order wisely. The steak was cooked perfectly and had tremendous flavor with a perfect sear. The gnocchi was in a vodka sauce and was hands down, absolutely amazing. Our waiter was very attentive, respectful, and super friendly, he also had great recommendations when we asked for them. The service was quick and I will definitely continue to return. Hubby's lamb chops are normally phenomenal but last night's needed a little salt & pepper but was pretty good. I don't know if we didn't get the full wine listing but it seems the wine selection list that was presented on the iPad thing they had a the table was a lot smaller than normal and the Rivetto we always got was not listed much to our disappointment. I have visited Bistecca on several instances and had mixed feelings. The first visit the steak was decent and did not deter me from returning. The second visit, the cowboy ribeye was a bit tough. Third visit was great as the cajun ribeye was perfect. I usually get a crisp salad to start then the steak with a fully loaded baked potato. The haberano jelly that comes with the steak is freakin awesome; I like to spread it on the roll with butter as well as smear it with my steak! It appears that on Thurs, Friday and Saturdays, the dining area could get noisy as it is next to the live music area and dance floor in the casino. It doesn't matter what you order from prosciutto wrapped cheese to any beef dish to the creme Brule dessert it's absolutely delicious. Tonight we had lamb chops and steak with sides of scallops & scalloped potatoes which are o.m.g delicious. The best part is I don't like scalloped potatoes. Very nice steakhouse nestled in the Meadows Casino. You have to walk through the casino to get to the restaurant. The ambiance is low lit, and classy. There isn't a "dress code" but they will ask you to remove hats. I would recommend wearing nicer pants and maybe even a collared shirt for men. I pointed out to our waitress three different prices are the same 14 ounce ribeye. The board outside the restaurant says $39. My menu said $41 and my brothers and you said $43. Pointed it out to my server she never said thank you or anything and guess what when I got my final bill it was the highest price it was a $43 ribeye.
