Lobster ravs
Dian R.

Our server Eleanor was great! Personable, fast and efficient. We hadn't been here in a while & were excited to join friends for their bday dinner. Fried zucchini was good, the lobster ravs were good, but the spinach feta angel hair had zero flavor- just noodles and oil. NO FLAVOR AT ALL. Don't even want it to go, nothing. Mentioned it to our server, she went to the mgr, sitting at the next table. & told him. He didnt address us at all and left the DR. She returned w a slice if desert which we gave to the bday friend. Thanks, but no thanks $22.99 for buttered noodles was a BIG disappointment.

Linguini Gamberi

Went for dinner Saturday night, waited about 20 mins to be seated. After we were sat the waitress was phenomenal. So nice and attentive. Ordered the fried provolone, yum!! I got the linguini gamberi. It was packed with seafood. It tasted fresh and loved the white wine sauce. I was stuffed after this.

I have been going to the Union Grill my entire life. The food is excellent, the service is friendly, and the restaurant is clean! The Union Grill is underground and about a block away from the courthouse. They always have tasty food. I love the Greek pasta, even though I didn't get it this time. If you are in Washington and trying to decide where to go, you will not be disappointed at the grill!

Union Grill, what a staple of this town! Immediately upon entering you be happy with the "underground mob feel" and the friendly staff. This is a very good Italian restaurant with an awesome bar area. We ordered a little bit of everything, and I've been coming here for years. I always recommend this restaurant for those traveling to Washington. It's not too far off of the interstate for those traveling around, either! Parking is tight but newspaper building is vacant in evening hours, or street parking.

We were in the area visiting family for a long weekend. Stopped for an early dinner at the Union grill. I had the halibut with spinach, peppers and onions with mashed potatoes. My sister had the Cajun linguine with chicken. Portions are large and food very high quality. Great value for the price. Food was absolutely delicious. We split the almond layer cake for dessert. Our server was Nicole and she was amazing and welcoming. 10/10 highly recommend eating here.

The food was amazing. The service was excellent. The ambiance is so a hit. If I could rate 10/10 I definitely would. I would recommend

Great food but menu is too big. It should be 1/2 of what it is. Take it back to what is was when Tucci and Nicholas had it

The menu lists foods such as salads, crab bisque, pastas, oysters, scallops, sea bass, chicken, lamb, pork, ribeye, NY strip, filet mignon, spinach, and tiramisu. My husband and I had a reservation for dinner here. The dress code was business casual, but some other customers wore smart casual. The waitress provided friendly service. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Chopped Salad - 4.5 stars - Iceberg lettuce was topped with grape tomatoes, cucumbers, green olives, croutons, bacon, and parmigiano-reggiano cheese. Bistecca Wedge Salad - 4.5 stars - Roughly half of a head of lettuce was topped with smoked bacon, onions, bleu cheese, and gorgonzola crumble. (No tomatoes at my husband's request.) Salmon Oscar - 4.5 stars - Atlantic salmon was grilled and topped with flavorful colossal lump crab, asparagus, and hollandaise. Filet mignon - 5 stars - My husband ordered a 10-ounce filet mignon, and the chef cooked it medium-rare as requested. On the side was béarnaise sauce. My husband enjoyed this steak very much. Au Gratin Potatoes - 4.5 stars - This side dish looked like "potato lasagna." Potatoes were thinly sliced and layered so they looked like lasagna. The cheesy sauce tasted good. New York Cheese Cake - 4.5 stars - The slice of this cake was a good size. It had a nice cheesy flavor, and we liked its graham crust, strawberry sauce, and sweet whipped cream. We drank water and did not order beverages. The total cost for this meal was $171 plus a tip.

Although the tables are spaced pretty tight, but the patrons are very considerate. Service - Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful. Food - come for the wine and stay for the food. The wine menu is deep and broad with plenty of quality wines to suit your preferences. The food menu is very limited with regard entrees (3 pasta choices), but their pasta is very good. There are ample options for small plates and appetizers. I ordered the Spaghetti ala Vodka. Overall - even if you are not a fan of wine, this restaurant should be on your list to frequent. The food, service, portions and prices are all very good.

There is inside and outside seating as well as some bar seating. The decor and atmosphere are interesting. Our server was super friendly and reminded us happy hour was over in 10 minutes, so we quickly looked at the drink menu and ordered. They have lots of drinks!!!! I settled on a lemon blueberry martini and it was good. The food menu is very limited, but being that Italian is my favorite, I was a happy camper. 4 of us shared the arancini, which was not my favorite. I order this often when I am out and this one was dry and I didn't care for the prosciutto and cheese in the middle. For my entree, I settled on the spaghetti and meatballs which arrived steaming hot which I love. There were 3 huge meatballs which had a nice little spice to them. The sauce was good and the portion size was perfect. No room for dessert. Overall, a good evening

Bella Terra Vineyards is a winery, restaurant, and event venue in the small town of Hunker in…read moreWestmoreland County. It sells a variety of dry and sweet wines (e.g., red, white, rose, sparkling, and cider), cocktails, mocktails, and beers. Some vineyards are on the grounds as are many barrels and bottles of wines. The restaurant has both indoor seating and seasonal outdoor seating in lakeside cabanas and winter igloos. It is open for brunch/lunch and dinner. It is a nice setting for daily dining as well as special events such as weddings, bridal and baby showers, and private parties. Furthermore, the website lists activities such as bingo, painting and candle-making classes, live music with dancing, and more. For my husband and me, I made a reservation for lunch in an igloo. Our igloo was large enough to fit eight people and cost $50 plus foods and drinks. A larger "party dome" fits up to 14 people and has a fee of $75. The temperatures outside were very cold, but our igloo was kept warm by an electric fireplace and a zippered door. Throughout our meal, our waitress provided timely and friendly service. The Bistro menu listed shareables (e.g., pretzel sticks and charcuterie board), several smash burgers, several flatbreads, mains (e.g., fish and chips, cajun chicken pasta, and quinoa bowl), several salads, several handhelds (e.g., turkey melt, veggie wrap, and Italian panini), many sides, and a couple of desserts. Prices were moderate. (The menus for Sunday Brunch and a group Gathering differ.) The waitress first brought our Sweet Wine-Cookie Flight (4.5 stars), which consisted of the following pairs: Diamond Reo with Brown Sugar Pop Tart, Sweet Finley with Chocolate Salted Caramel, Riesling with Cookies and Cream, and Rose Cider with Strawberry Crunch. The wine glasses came in a wooden box, which was slightly too small, so I needed several minutes of time to carefully pull each wine glass out of the box. I, however, did enjoy the sweet flavors of the wines and cookies. Next our waitress brought out our shareable and two mains. The Hummus Plate (4.5 stars) consisted of fresh and tasty hummus, feta, olives, top seedz crackers, tomatoes, cucumbers, green and red peppers, carrots, celery, and tzatziki. My main course was Crab Cakes (4 stars) with a substituted side of salad. Two crab cakes were a decent size of 4 ounces each, but I would have preferred more crab meat. I liked the garlic aioli. My husband's main course was the Cali Burger (4 stars) with a side of fries. In a brioche bun, a beef patty was topped with fontina cheese, applewood-smoked bacon (which he would prefer be crispier), avocado, avocado ranch, lettuce, and pickles (which he commented were nicely crunchy and sweet-sour) (no tomato at his request). The total price for the flight, shareable, two mains, and a soda was $98 plus sales tax and tip (plus the earlier $50 fee for the igloo).
