Fan-FN-tastic. Great portions and great tasting. Was a bit jaded about trying something new but I'm glad I finally did! Service was great too!

This hidden gem of a restaurant has been serving the community fresh, homemade Italian food for over 40 years. A 10/10, for sure!

All I can say is wow! The portions are huge and delicious! The service is terrific! Everything is top notch all the time! I've never had a bad meal-the burgers are awesome as well! And the real meat ground meat! Not some Patty that was frozen.

I love this place. Make sure you leave room for dessert. Ordering a dinner gets you a few meals - big portions.

After hearing so many good things, we finally tried By George last night. It's a smaller…read morerestaurant with a separate bar area and was decorated very cute for the holidays. We started with a few beverages. The toasted marshmallow old fashioned was delish, I really enjoyed it. Our service started out great but unfortunately didn't end as great as it started. We started with the grape leaves and were very disappointed, they had good flavor but very mushy. The dinners were good. My friend had the ravioli with meatballs which I didn't get a picture of but it looked amazing. They were very generous with the sauce (which I love a saucy dish)! I had the Penne Fra Diavolo which was nice and spicy but in a good way, I added the shrimp and chicken and preferred the shrimp. Large portion/brought home leftovers. The rolls served with dinner were really good too. Now here is where the problem lied, my husband ordered the ribeye steak (medium rare). It looked amazing but was overcooked. He told the waitress and she had another one made but by time it came out the rest of us were done eating. This is always a frustrating dining experience. Thankfully the second steak was cooked perfectly but the sides were on the cold (not sure if they were the original sides or new sides). But it's never great to watch everyone else eat and then have to have the rest of the table sit and watch you eat. Overall good drinks/food but not a wow-ing first experience.

By George was recommended by many friends and neighbors, so we decided to go for a birthday…read moredinner. The place is nestled in near and old strip mall. We pulled in and was surprised how busy it was for a Wednesday. Surprisingly the wait was not long. Everyone who recommended lauded the gyro dip, so that was ordered immediately. We also ordered an onion soup. Wife and I split that. I had the Bershire Pork chop, wife had the surf and turf chicken, and daughter had spaghetti. Everything was very good! My pork chop was grilled perfectly and had a strip steak vibe, the surf and turf was also cooked perfectly with a nice cream sauce. Lastly, my daughter enjoyed her spaghetti. The portions were large and we all had leftovers. Now the gyro dip was good. Don't know if it was a must for our next visit, but good. However, the onion soup was one of the best I've ever had, and that's including high end restaurants. Get it if you like onion soup. We split a homemade candy bar cheese cake for dessert. The piece was huge and all three of us had a taste. Very good. Lastly, the prices are not unreasonable, and the service was very good. The staff speaks highly of the restaurant, and the staff helps each other out to ensure constant attentive service. We will definitely go again.

And trust me, they sell out quick. Too bad they don't sell on Sundays like before a Steelers game (hint, hint),...or later in the evening for dinner (hint, hint). First, thank you to all of the workers wearing masks. I'll always support those local businesses that actually care about their customers and each other. Plus, the staff there is super friendly. Second, while it's great for their business, I'm not a big fan of their "call in" orders. Reason? You can be standing in line, looking at their menu, decide what you want, your salivating glands start their engines,...and one of the workers will come up to the menu board and wipe away a menu item you had your eyes on. Sorry Marty,...just a personal "beef." (Get it?) First stop, we got the buy-two-get-one pork chops ($14) and the half chicken ($8), each swimming in their BBQ sauce,...maybe a little too much sauce but they are generous in that respect. Now, I'm not sure what happened here. But I may have made a mistake by buying these around noon time then saving them for dinner. The chops were both fairly big and thick. We ended up reheating them in the microwave; not sure if this is what did it or they were just overcooked on the grill but the chops were really dry. As for the chicken? It was worse. Unfortunately, it appeared to be slightly under cooked, and the skin was leathery (again, possibly due to reheating in the microwave). The sauce? I got mild on the chops and hot on the chicken, and frankly we couldn't tell the difference between the two (maybe they made a mistake and gave us mild on both). Honestly, we just didn't enjoy the chops and the chicken, but to be fair, it may have been better eating these straight off the grill. Second trip, we had the hot pepper cheese kielbasa ($3.50), the ¼ lb cheese dog ($2.75), and the 1 lb sausage sandwich ($9). The buns are served on the side (a nice touch so things don't get soggy). Things were a lot better this time. We liked the kielbasa - good flavor, nice snap to it. Worth the price. The cheese dog was OK. Sliced down the middle with what looks like American cheese mixed throughout. The lighter shade meat looks like a mix (pork, chicken, whatever); I'm guessing it wasn't 100% beef. We really liked the 1 lb sausage sandwich. Y'know how some places say they have hot sausage, then you bite into and there's nothing? Well, this sausage actually has some spice to it! Top it with their hot sauce and now you've got something. We actually split it into three's and it was well worth the price. The extra large bun they provide was much appreciated. The sauce the second time around was also much better and easily discernible. The mild sauce on the kielbasa and cheese dog had little more peppery bite to it than the last go 'round, but the hot sauce definitely lived up to its name. Third go 'round we got the ribs (half slab - $14) and the pulled pork (1/2 lb - $6). If you order the ribs, you're gonna need the sauce. We tried eating them without the sauce,...and all we tasted was charcoal. We'll put this on the "DOA" list ("Don't Order Again"). The pulled pork was a different story - THAT, my friends, was some good stuff. I'd recommend asking them for an extra bun for this order. You can definitely get two nice sized sandwiches out of what they give you. Or, head to Foodland next door, pick up some slider buns, and share the love with your friends and family. You can get the sauce served on the side in a relatively large in a container with your choice of mild or hot sauce. We had extra so we froze it, thawed it out and served it on some homemade wings (hint, hint). I was leaning towards giving them a 3 out of 5, but based on their customer service and me possibly making a mistake reheating the chops and chicken in the microwave, I decided to give them a 4/5. The reason - I always ask myself this question,... Would I go back? I actually would,...but I'm going there with the philosophy "if it ain't going on a bun, I ain't ordering it."
