Tonight while I'm in town visiting my in laws I got to enjoy a dinner here! Our server Liz was amazing! She knew the specials and was very attentive to us! I had the burger and of course I didn't take a photo but my sister in law had the chicken entree with mash potatoes and veggies! I also tried her dish and it was sooo good! The mussels are amazing also!! It was my first time here having dinner since I'm visiting but this is their regular dinner spot! Definitely will come back every time I visit town!

Eighty acres has amazing cocktails. I also had an espresso martini I forgot to take a picture of and it was delicious! The only thing I didn't care for was the sauce with the sweet potato fries. It wasn't really needed as they are amazing in their own. They were busy but our food came out hot and fast. Our server John was so kind and attentive. He was able to answer all of our questions and made great suggestions. The place is classy and beautiful!

My husband and I came here a few weeks ago and we had a phenomenal dinner here. My husband had their steak gyro and I had a scallop special that they were featuring. The place is so cozy and the staff were great. I really love that they support local farms. I am obsessed with that, and I recognized some of the featured farms from a farmers market I visit often. The food was delicious, we loved it and were really impressed. I would love to come back soon!

Love the atmosphere, the vibe and best of all the food and service! Excellent old fashioned and wine and followed by delish scallops was the special of the night! One of us had a penne pasta dish that looked mouth watering. Gathering board to start was excellent! Desserts were shared and yummy. Missy is number one in bartending and our dinner service and helpfulness to all our questions and yes the pics too! Free parking Indoor and outdoor covered seating. Going back Saturday for date night food and drink!

Came here with my boyfriend after visiting my cousin at UPMC East. We both ordered the Logan Family Farm steak burger-his with regular fries and mine with the sweet potato fries. I liked the sweet potato fries better. The burger was quite delicious. My boyfriend's burger was a little charred but our server unbeknownst to us took it off our bill which was super sweet and amazing service. She was very attentive. I had one of their whiskey cocktails and it was great. I can't wait to come back here and try more things. The restaurant and bar area is lovely and it looks like there is a nice outdoor area for the summer time.

This place rocks. Unique food, good service, stacked bar, and no complaints. consider reservations and check hours/days open online prior.

Mid-afternoon New Year's Eve dinner started with small, tasty oysters (better with shallots and vinegar- Mignonette Sauce, than with cocktail sauce), followed by mushroom soup and house salad. Entrees delighted guests with delicious lobster risotto and scallops; and surf and turf ribs, shrimp, carrots and potatoes - the sauce was perfect. Casey's service went above and beyond providing details on sources of libations. The room was decorated for the occasion with a small Christmas tree with white lights and "Happy New Year 2025" handwritten on a black chalkboard, creating a festive ambiance.

Absolutely fabulous!!!!! Such a great experience. This is my second time here and it's been excellent both times!! We sat in at the bar, which is in the same area of the dining room which I liked, had a good energy. Food was absolutely amazing. All the dishes we ordered (see attached images and description) were made to perfection. You can tell this food is crafted, not just prepped. Our server was awesome and got our order just right. And you can't beat these prices! Very reasonable for the quality of food you're getting. Highly recommend going!

This place has been on my radar for a while now. I got the chance to visit on a Wednesday evening since it was a "halfway " point for 5 friends gathering from Pittsburgh and points East. It was easy to find for all of us, just off of Route 286 in Plum. The parking lot is large and the outside is tastefully painted white with black accents. Inside we were greeted and seated in the main dining room with a view to the bar and the patio. The menu was tempting, both in food and cocktails which made it hard to choose. I settled on the blood orange cosmopolitan after asking the waitress' opinion. She said it was very popular and for good reason! It was delicious and it had a nice kick. Friends chose the pineapple Margarita and the summer sangria for their cocktails. I ordered the soup of the day, a chicken potato leek soup. It was ok, not what I was expecting. Not much leek flavor, and I wouldn't order it again. My entree though was very good. The sesame crusted tuna salad was delicious. My friends had the roasted beet salad, one added salmon and the other added chicken. Both raved about it. Others who had the chicken salad sandwich and the smoked pork also enjoyed their meals. This was a good experience overall, and I liked the fact that they are trying to do farm to table. Our waitress was nice and efficient, although not overly friendly. One thing to be careful about when leaving the parking lot....use the lower exit because there's a blind curve above the upper exit and cars fly around that curve fairly fast.

I've been here a few times before, but this is my first review. I would say this is one of the best places to eat in the monroeville/murrysville area. We started with their gnocchi appetizer, which has perfectly fluffy gnocchi and a béchamel type sauce. I would have preferred a different sauce but this is a great dish regardless. This time we ordered the crab cakes and the seafood pasta for entrees. They have really amazing crab cakes and is probably my favorite dish they have! There is no filler and you can see the large pieces of crab. The seafood pasta came with a ton of shrimp, muscles, and clams. My only complaint would be how thin the sauce is because towards the end of the dish it was more like a soup than a pasta. Overall, this is a great restaurant and I highly recommend trying it!

    What is the attire like?

It was mostly an older crowd wearing slacks and sweaters. A few people were wearing jeans and Steelers jackets. One family was wearing suits. They don't seem to have a dress code, but I felt underdressed in jeans and a hoodie.

It tasted like they used cheap canned sauce; it reminded me of the canned spaghetti we had sometimes as kids. I also had the applesauce which was ok, but I wish it had been unsweetened. The stuffed cabbage was ok; certainly not as good as my great aunt used to make, but not bad. Although, it was a bit spicy for me. I don't remember what my sister had, but I do remember that she wasn't very impressed with it. Service was a little slow, and we got occasional unpleasant whiffs of cigarette smoke from the attached bar.

Ok history lesson! the building used to be McDades Restaurant a German/Irish establishment that…read moreused have a small but nice selection of usual German fare that I loved dining there. and Golden Goblet was further down the road on Golden Mile Hwy. Fast forward the Mcdade family retired a while ago and The GG took over this location under their own name. The decor was dark and rather dated with something of a nautical theme (I'm guessing because of the "famous" fish sandwich they offer) The dining room has an adjoining party/function room and the bar and kitchen occupying the other side. Over 10 years ago, I went there once during lent, for their so called "Famous Fish Sandwich" well to me, a self declared "Afish'n'ado" being British from the land of Fish'n'chips, it wasn't that "famous" imho. I think it must be a self declared title, just like the Dallas Cowboys are referred to as "America's Team" Anyhoo 10+ years on, I didn't go this time for another try at a fish sandwich, no ...I went there because I found out that they we're continuing offering the alternative German menu inherited from McDades, as a separate Oktoberfest menu. Don't know if it has been offered in prior years or not. Tried the "German Sampler" which used be my favourite from the McDades era, when it was called the "Heidelberg Platter". This new iteration is similar from what I remembered... an oval plate filled with a variety of Knockwurst and Bratwurst, Sauerbraten, Pork roast, with four wonderful sides of Potato pancake, German potato salad, good portions of Sauerkraut and also red cabbage. Whilst not wow, it was flavorful and still very good and quite authentic and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Our server was by herself the whole night and a little harrowed understandably, by having to serve around 10 covers at the same time, but whilst a little discombobulated at times, she still managed very well and was courteous throughout. I think she was quite new to the Oktoberfest menu as despite what the printed German menu said, she interpreted the German sampler as an "either or" on the sides it came with, which is not the case, you "get it all" on the same plate and the kitchen thankfully knew that). My wife had a full Sauerbraten entree which she liked and I had her leftovers the next day. Gravy was nice combo of sweet and sour and peppery with cinnamon or cloves We also had an order of fried zucchini which was quite good for the amount you get and the thick marinara it came with, though was a little on the greasy side. (We shouldn't have ordered it, purely down to our normal greed and craving zucchini and forgetting how much food you get for the main meal but at least there were leftovers to enjoy!) Had a pint of Oktoberfest beer which sadly was flat. Summing up I want to go back before Oktoberfest ends to try their selection of veal entrees, or just get the sampler again. Also as a footnote, while I was there, a neighboring table got a fried fish dinner and from the look, the fish was thin and the breading quite dark indicating that it was either overdone, or they haven't changed the oil in the fryer in quite a while, so based on my observation, will continue to hold off ordering a 'so so' fish sandwich after all these years. History lesson over... class dismissed!

We waited quite a while before our waitress, Amber S., came to take our drink order. Even after ordering simple drinks (a Diet Coke and iced tea), it took a long time for them to arrive. After that, we ordered two slices of pizza and a salad, and it took at least 45 minutes for our food to come out. During the entire wait, Amber never checked in with us, provided any updates about the delay, or asked if we needed anything else. A quick update would have gone a long way, but we felt completely ignored throughout the visit. After we finished our food, the situation continued. We waited a long time trying to get the check while Amber repeatedly walked past our table, even as we tried to flag her down. It was frustrating because this restaurant used to be much better when it was North Park Lounge. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill since it became Deejays. It also didn't appear that a manager was present to help address the situation. I hope the restaurant takes feedback like this seriously and works on improving the level of service.

The place was mostly empty when we arrived and stayed that way throughout the night. The building is quite large and the interior is actually quite nice. However, that is where the positives in this review end. After placing a few orders of whole wings to share at our table, we were informed that we just ordered the last of their whole wings for the evening. Not to worry though, they assured us that they still had wing dings available. After placing 2 orders of those, our server came back to say that they were now completely out of all types of wings. This was disappointing because we were all excited to eat a lot of wings that night. I did manage to snag a few of the wings that were ordered before they ran out, and I realized that I wasn't missing out on much. The skin was soggy and the sauces tasted bland. Overall, the quality of food, service, and atmosphere were lacking at this establishment. I would not go back in the future and I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are in search of a sports bar.
