Next it is a small place shaped more like a rectangle with a long bar on one side and some tables to the other which are spaced to close together. Also it is not set up well for any music The stage is by the door and it's hard to hear or see anyone if you not up close that way. Music was nice and we could hear it fine but there was a table of loud drunk people that would get rowdy from time to time. We ordered food which included stuffed mushrooms and calamari. Mushrooms were decent but the calamari was bigger then I expected and the taste was ok but they were over cooked and "rubbery" a bit. The bartender was amazing and the service was excellent. Met the wiener and his wife who were super friendly

You can talk me into coming here to watch a game but I just can't bring myself to make this my spot. Maybe the fact that it's a smoking bar has a lot to do with it, but it's definitely the type of place where you should expect that. If that doesn't bother you, then take this review with a grain of salt and keep reading. Anyway, don't let the name fool you. Nothing about the Churchill Haus appears German on the surface. It's a low key neighborhood bar. The bottled beer selection is decent but they don't have much on tap. Once or twice a month they'll have live music. There's a few food specials during the week. I've tried the tacos, burgers, wings, and BBQ. The wings are good if you don't feel like driving into the city. The BBQ is by far my favorite thing on the menu. If nothing else, come by on a Saturday in the summer when they have the grill going and get a few racks of ribs. Take your food to go if you don't want to be overpowered with cigarette smoke in a small space. If you can tolerate it, then stop by here for a penguins or pirates game and watch with a good yinzer crowd.

The Server (male) had no idea about the HH specials even after stating "I've worked here for over a month and no one has ever asked me about specials...". Ok, no worries. Monday is wing night and they were only $.50 so we each ordered 6 (my basket arrived with 7- BONUS. Lol). We also ordered Loaded Sidewinders for $6.50 (HH price). The wings were really good, the sidewinders were basically 's' shaped mashed potatoes, fried like French fries with bacon, cheese and ranch. They were ok, but I won't order them again. Overall- this place is beautiful and it's worth the visit. Check out my video...

The P-Bar is my hometown bar, and I have been coming here for longer than I can remember. My…read morefriends and I would come in high school on Thursdays for $1 Burger Nights (no longer around, RIP), and now we come to enjoy some drinks on the patio and hang out. The bar is located in a strip of stores along Old Clairton Road, just off of route 51. There is some parking in the front that is shared with all the other businesses, and then a parking lot across Old Clairton that gets used at night when the businesses that it is for are closed. Additionally, there is a private lot for the bar in the back, and parking at the Bill Green Shopping Center just a little ways down the road (sidewalks from Bill Green to the bar entrance). Due to a fire that occurred here a few years ago, the entire place has recently been remodeled and reoriented from how it was originally. The bar is now in the back, and the main dining room is in the front. There is also a great patio and outdoor space with open air seating, as well as some area under a porch. Everything is new, clean, and modern as a result of the remodel. On this visit, we came to hang out on a Saturday evening. It was raining, so we had to get a table inside. It was karaoke night, as they have each Saturday, so we got to take in the sights and sounds of several performers. Since we were there later in the evening, we just ordered appetizers to much on along with our drinks. I got the Fiesta Street Corn Dip. It was a great value for the price, and there was a ton to go around the whole table. I also sipped on a Summer Shandy from their seasonal draft list. Overall, the food menu has a decent selection, all at very reasonable prices. The draft list did not have any red or brown ales on it, but there was still a fair selection of drinks. The ladies who came around to our table were pleasant and helpful. It was rather crowded, but there would be times we would not see a server for extended periods of time. I do not think it helped that our table was tucked back in a corner, but wish we would have been visited on a somewhat more frequent basis to put additional orders in. I always have a good time at the P-Bar, and enjoy coming here. Especially in the summer, it is an ideal place to hang out and catch up with friends. And likely, if you are from the area, you will run into several people you know. I did not have their breakfast this time, but the breakfast they have on the weekends is worth a try as well!

My son and I went into the uncrowded restaurant, sat at the bar, ordered two beers and told the bartender we wanted a takeout order. We watched her take care of several other customers. I told her I would be OK with going into the restaurant to place my order, but she said no she would be right back. meanwhile, the bartender was new, and there was a female manager behind the bar, with her. A little while later, the manager came over to us, and asked how could she help us? I ordered the food , and while finishing my beer, a bleach, blonde waitress from the restaurant side came in with a order of pizza. Bartender instructed her that it was for the restaurant customers. The waitress looked at the bartender and said for her to deliver it to the customers, because they were unhappy. During this time, the bartender also had to leave the bar to attend to drinks in the restaurant. I finally got my takeout order, I was walking out of the restaurant, and there were multiple waitresses and waiter in the restaurant area standing around and looking like they were doing nothing. The bartender was left to care for everything by herself. As I had said previously, I've always loved DeeJays ribs, from Wexford. When I finally arrived home, the ribs were quite dry, with hardly any barbecue sauce. I was very disappointed. Someone needs to needs to go to Bridgeville and Wexford to observe how the restaurant is generally run perfectly. I will not recommend this new location.

My partner and I used to love going here or getting takeout when we were nearby. The food was…read morealways amazing, we usually got burgers or wraps, and the fresh cut fries were excellent. They were probably my favorite restaurant fries around. We came in to eat on our way back from Hartwood Acres, and wow, the fall from grace was pretty obvious from the start. It's been about a year since we last dined in here, and slightly more recently for takeout. The server, when she did finally come over to greet us, was very pushy about upsells and visibly disappointed when we weren't going for drinks or appetizers. She only stopped at the table twice before delivering our check; a runner dropped off our food and the server didn't check on us until we were basically done eating and I needed a box. I felt like she was one step away from rolling our eyes at us for getting water and (gasp) no dessert. As a former server myself I usually tip pretty generously, between 20% and 25% for average to good service, but this was an exception. She was borderline rude. But the service wasn't even the most disappointing part. They did away with the fresh cut fries and gave us some sad generic frozen ones. They were fine but they were nothing to write home about. Those fresh cut fries would be in my dreams once in awhile they were so good. To replace them with some Ore Ida crap I could get from the grocery store was beyond disappointing. My husband's burger was visibly lower quality. It had more lettuce on it than meat. Those burgers used to be thick and fresh, and this just wasn't it. My go to at Dive, the salmon BLT wrap, was OK, but the sauce was distributed unevenly in it. One bite would be completely dry and the next was drowning. I'm just overall disappointed that the food isn't as good anymore. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I would happily pay 20% more to maintain the quality we had in past experiences than pay the same for what we got on our most recent visit. I don't think we'll be back unless they brought their original fries back.
