    Hand-Cut Fries

Stopped by a nearby store and wanted to give the restaurant a try. The staff were very friendly from the start. I had a Knob Hill Old Fashioned to start. If you saw my previous review for the same drink at a different restaurant, the staff at that restaurant should come here to learn how to make an Old Fashioned. It was that good here. I had the cheddar burger with fries. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. The hand cut fries are also very good. My girlfriend has the short ribs and really enjoyed them. I snuck a bite and thought it was very flavorful. We will definitely be back again.

Enjoyed our dinner here on a Sunday evening. We ordered the cornbread to share and it came with butter and honey on the side and was delicious. Three of the four in my party ordered the skirt steak which was by all accounts, perfect. It was tender, tasty and served with a chipotle mayo sauce. I opted for the shrimp tacos which were presented beautifully. The tacos were very good. My issue was that they were so overloaded, that I made a mess while trying to eat them. Oh well, that's clearly on me! The side of rice and beans did not taste like much though. Service was attentive. The bar was large and looked like a great place to hang out. That's for another night!

Easily my favorite restaurant in Murrysville. Service here is always incredible, Madison is the best waitress! She is so attentive, kind, and warm providing personalized attention to every table. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the cornbread skillet for an app is a must try. Any of the tacos or salads are always a go to for entree selection. Great place for a date night or to bring your family! Nice bar area, and they also have outdoor seating during the warmer months.

We always enjoy ourselves at Juniper Grill. The short rib is delicious and the cornbread is a must! It's always so fresh, hot and yummy. The wine list is extensive and they have a wide variety of cocktails. The bartenders know what they're doing. The salads are also really good--especially with cornbread croutons.

Great service and the waiters were helpful when I asked about the salmon or roast! I ended up getting the roast and loved it! Moist, tender, and flavorful! The side was a bit bland since there was just butter, but you could swap it out! I have gone to Juniper multiple times and always had great service. The dining room is more dimly lit, but I love the outside seating for lunch. Other food recommendations include the chicken salad, chicken sandwich, tacos, and salmon!

When I checked into Juniper Grill on Yelp, I was surprised to see a coupon for a free appetizer! We went with the chicken tacos, which were loaded with chicken, lettuce, and all the other good things. :) I also ordered their bacon-avocado burger, which came with an insane side of fries. Seriously, there were enough fries to share with all four of my friends! My burger was cooked perfectly, and the chefs did not skimp on the avocado or bacon. I left feeling extremely full and satisfied.

We stopped in for dinner before a show in Pittsburgh and were happy with both the food and the service. My husband had the shrimp and crab enchiladas. They were loaded with shrimp and real crab, not sea legs. I wasn't that hungry so I chose the Juniper house salad. It was mixed greens with bacon bits, cherry tomatoes, red onions, jicama slivers and corn bread croutons which made it different from other standard house salads. It was filling even without adding an additional protein. I also had the Juniper wheat ale on tap. At 7.3% ABV, it gave me an immediate buzz! Our server was nice and efficient. Water glasses filled often and he came to offer dessert which we split, a key lime pie. In an unusual round shape, it tasted homemade. It was very good. The decor is dark but feels comfortable. We sat inside with the A/C but you could also dine outside if you chose. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience and we were in and out in enough time to get to the show, even with Arts Festival traffic in the cultural district.

This gem of a restaurant is conveniently located in a plaza just off the main highway that cuts thru Murrysville. The food, service, and ambiance here are all simply put, fabulous. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by the hostesses, and taken to your table. I've never seen a waiter or waitress here that is less than near perfect. They're all incredibly kind and friendly. (Shout out to out most recent server, Mia! She's fabulous!) Let's get into the food. It's all delicious, period. My go to here are the fish tacos. They are the best fish tacos I've ever had, and they're served with a side of beans and rice which are pretty darn good. If you visit when they have their Lenten menu, I also highly suggest the scallops. They are huge and quite delicious! Pro Tip: Check in on Yelp and get a free appetizer! We got the street tacos!

One of the best restaurants in the Monroeville/ Murrysville area! Right now they have a deal that with a Yelp check in you can get either the street tacos or dip appetizer. We got the street tacos and really enjoyed them. All the food we've had here is delicious. Some items on the menu are pricier- (like the filet) but you are paying for the quality you get. I enjoyed the brisket and ribs. The ribs have multiple layers of flavor- I don't know how they do it but it's mouth-wateringly delicious. The taco soup was also really good! Lots of delectable desserts. It was hard to choose one, but we got the triple chocolate cake. It's a classy atmosphere. You may want to dress up a bit. Service is excellent. Our server Jordan went above and beyond. I'd recommend making reservations if you don't want to have to sit at the bar as it does fill up. Will definitely return!

Anyways, our group was of about 12 people so they had to put together a few tables so we could all sit together which was nice, there were at least 5 tv's I could look at from my view. All of which had different things broadcasting on them. The waitress was very nice and she was very helpful. The free popcorn there is definitely what makes this place famous. I got an Italian Hoagie and was satisfied with it, also got fries with it. One thing I did notice while I was there was that the floor was somewhat crumby but that was taken care of because a waiter vacuumed it up. Overall a great experience but there were just a few minor inconveniences.

The place was mostly empty when we arrived and stayed that way throughout the night. The building is quite large and the interior is actually quite nice. However, that is where the positives in this review end. After placing a few orders of whole wings to share at our table, we were informed that we just ordered the last of their whole wings for the evening. Not to worry though, they assured us that they still had wing dings available. After placing 2 orders of those, our server came back to say that they were now completely out of all types of wings. This was disappointing because we were all excited to eat a lot of wings that night. I did manage to snag a few of the wings that were ordered before they ran out, and I realized that I wasn't missing out on much. The skin was soggy and the sauces tasted bland. Overall, the quality of food, service, and atmosphere were lacking at this establishment. I would not go back in the future and I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are in search of a sports bar.

We waited quite a while before our waitress, Amber S., came to take our drink order. Even after ordering simple drinks (a Diet Coke and iced tea), it took a long time for them to arrive. After that, we ordered two slices of pizza and a salad, and it took at least 45 minutes for our food to come out. During the entire wait, Amber never checked in with us, provided any updates about the delay, or asked if we needed anything else. A quick update would have gone a long way, but we felt completely ignored throughout the visit. After we finished our food, the situation continued. We waited a long time trying to get the check while Amber repeatedly walked past our table, even as we tried to flag her down. It was frustrating because this restaurant used to be much better when it was North Park Lounge. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill since it became Deejays. It also didn't appear that a manager was present to help address the situation. I hope the restaurant takes feedback like this seriously and works on improving the level of service.

Got a Pinot noir wine and waters Starter=soup of the day: tomato w/ chickpea and chorizo- bold tomato flavor and lots of arugula in it. Not so much chorio but flavor was very good, not overly salty. 10/10 After the soup we put our nit-picking goggles on as we knew this was a pretty sophisticated meal. Daily special- pan seared mahi mahi with asparagus fennel kohlabi and arugula salad citrus buerre Blanc. Light citrus flavor is found thru the mahi mahi, its sauce and the salad. Very congruent. Asparagus was a neutral addition. Not flowing with or against the mahi. Fish was cooked well. Just lots of raw red onion on the salad was a little overpowering. 7/10 Red wine braised short rib- didn't ask how well done, so seems chefs choice. We have a preference towards med rare. This was cooked well done making it a tad tough-stringy. Mashed potatoes with some larger pieces of potato, but very neutral plain flavor, great with the beef sauce. Carrots cooked well, just neutral, natural flavor. Overall a very classic flavor combo that works.7/10. Would stop by again to try more dishes. Ps- when paying we noticed final bill to sign was more than first bill at table. When we asked why the difference we were told it's the credit card fee of $3. This was really the first time I've seen this at a restaurant, yet alone at a decent place like one. Would have been best for them to tell us this upfront.
