A hidden gem batting well above its class. You'll find it tucked off the side of Old Clariton Rd, locals will remember the American Legion that used to be here. Parking is a breeze and on site. As we walked in, we were greeted and immediately seated. The hostess gave us the option of a high top or bench seat. Inside was exceptionally clean. Seating was nicely spaced around the bar, perfect amount of spacing to not feel cramped and able to hear your date/guests. You can get away with casual dress (I wore shorts and a tee shirt) but I would not feel overdressed in nice clothes either, it could easily accommodate both. Our waitress was super nice. Actually, every staff member was very friendly, which made for a very pleasant atmosphere. We started with a pretzel, both the honey mustard and cheese sauce were delicious. I ordered the summer special "backyard burger" which is a 7oz char-grilled steak burger. My wife got the Angus with a salad. Everything came out as ordered and was delicious! Service was excellent. We have been eating here for almost 2 years to use the 3 rivers savings card. . We were able to order salad, sandwiches or flatbread And use the card. Tonight when we were ready to order the server said it had to be an entree or pasta. When we said in the past, we used it on other things he said well the server must've made a mistake. We did not have the same server every time and we were very surprised at what appears to be a policy change. We changed our order and eliminated the appetizer we were going to get in order to use the savings card. It's just disappointing when a restaurant changes the policy in the middle of the savings card year. read more

I took my father here for dinner on a Friday eve. We were seated much quicker than the estimated wait time. The food was excellent - pork shank for me, salmon for him. My only complaint was that the music was too loud; we were sitting beneath a speaker. Though when I asked if it could be turned down slightly, they immediately obliged. Had an amazing Father's Day brunch today. Everyone there was so nice and the service and food were amazing. Fresh fruit to start, then I had the omelette Arrabiatta and my husband had steak and eggs. So delicious. My omelette was loaded with delicious Italian sausage and the spicy sauce was perfect to mix with the creamy burrata. So unique. Our drinks were refilled quickly. I went for the lent menu and I ordered the fish and chips $20 which was fish on a dish and a side of fries I opted for perogies never got my lemon that was to come with it my husband opted for the fish sandwich which came with a bun a choice of side and Cole slaw $17 so beyond the fact he got more food and paid less what was the difference I paid $3 more!!!! So yeah fish was good get the sandwich and put the bread to the side if you don't want it. What makes me sad is the fact you are ripping people off $3 for the same dish. Had a wonderful experience last night trying their newly revamped menu. Very thoughtful and clever flavor combos in every dish that we sampled! My absolute favs were the Bavarian pretzel (it's MASSIVE, easily could feed 6-8ppl) which is served with the most delicious speck ham, horseradish pickles, and fabulous sauces. Seeing the high price on the menu made me hesitant, but, wow! Absolutely don't sleep on this one! For my main dish, I went with the chicken Milanese Ceaser salad. Now, to be honest, I expected this is just be a simple (girl dinner!) salad with some sliced breaded chicken on top - NOPE. It was perfectly presented (see photos) and a generous portion of breaded chicken breast topped with a little bit of beautiful crisp lettuce, Asiago crisps, massive croutons, and the lightest, yet most flavorful Cesar dressing that I've ever had. Everyone at our table raved over this dish. I also tried bites of the pork chop (perfectly cooked, beautiful presentation). The bruschetta chicken pasta (that lemon cream sauce - chefs kiss!) and the mushroom strudel (perfect fall dish!). My only complaint was that the calamari was a touch over cooked, but the flavor was great. My compliments to the chef and the staff as they were absolutely slammed due to the relaunch and they didn't miss a beat. Our server was so kind, helpful, and attentive and we never even had to ask for a refill or a sharing plate. She was 10 steps ahead of us! First impressions weren't great. Half the water glasses had old lipstick marks on them. They replaced with clean glasses. One server and bartender for the whole place -- who is also serving tables now. C'mon man, have enough people to staff your restaurant. Will update after the food arrives. Update: Food was amazing! My husband and I have been to this restaurant a couple times since they opened. They recently did a menu change and we love everything that we have tried. There is something on the menu for everyone! When we walked in we were greeted immediately and shown to our table. We loved the lighting! Our server was wonderful, drinks were so very good. Get the raspberry lemonade martini! I highly recommend it! The eggplant bolognese was so very delicious. My husband had the chicken caprese pasta. I tasted it and ooh la la delish! We celebrated our daughter's birthday there & everyone's food was very good. The appetizers were also very good. This is the perfect addition to our area! We needed a decent sit down family restaurant and 7 Twelve is that place. From it giving respect to the former American Legion that was housed at that building to it understanding of the type of food the residents around wanted. The atmosphere is a very mellow well lit comfortable roomy space. The music is loud enough to hear but not drown out your conversation. The booths and tables are spaced well so that you don't feel like you're sitting with strangers but best of all, and I don't know how that did this, but you're not overwhelmed by the conversation at other tables! The food is all fresh and hand made daily. The portions are perfect to fill you but you're not going to carry home a doggie bag that you're never going to eat. The menu is well organized and concise. Finally made it to this hometown place. It's beautiful inside this place. Modern yet comfortable. The happy hour specials are amazing. Ordered two appetizers and both were awesome. Then a Cesar salad that was delicious. Tons of garlic and homemade croutons. Finally, the chicken parm. It was prepared perfectly. Light batter on a huge, thin breast. We went here for dinner tonight with friends. We had a reservation for four people at 6PM. We placed our order at 6:10PM. At 7:40PM, our meals had not arrived. The waitress and busboy were apologetic but there was obviously nothing they could do about it. The reason that was given to us regarding the long wait was that there was a party of 31 people in the back room. The management obviously did not plan properly when they knew that they were having a private party along with the usual Saturday evening crowd. We were certainly disappointed in this and told the waitress that we would be leaving. We will not return here. The management/ owners need to get their act together. read more

This place is located inside of an old American Legion. This restaurant is also close to my house, so I was excited about trying the menu. I did get reviews from some people I know, but they are mostly shut-ins who think that dinners at restaurants cost $10.00. The inside was completely renovated, with a dim and cozy feeling. We were there with a large party of about 14 people. The appetizers were quite tasty. I really enjoyed the baked feta appetizer. Wow. Now, let's talk about the way I judge a restaurant - Steaks. I ordered a ribeye, which is weirdly no longer on the menu two weeks after visiting the place. Well, that's what I wanted to talk about. It was excellent. The seasoning was perfect and the medium-rare temperature was perfect. My wife enjoyed her steak and the kids devoured a soft pretzel and then some. The wait staff was wonderful and attentive. The refills came quickly and our server was working very hard. Putting out 14 entrees at the same time is a lot harder if you've never worked in the restaurant business. First time going it was fine. Then they changed menu. Got seated timely. Waitress seemed new or didn't care. Brought us drinks and then asked if we knew what we wanted. I asked do you have any specials She said oh yea. I guess she didn't want to give that information out. Anyway We placed our order. Salmon. The waitress brought our meals out and put on table and asked anything else. We said yes how about a napkin and some silverware. So she grabs two from the next table. We ate our meal and she asked if she could take our plates. She came back and asked if we wanted desserts we said no and then she put our check on the table. No asking for refills or after dinner drinks. We were sitted at 6:30 pm and back in car at 6:55 pm. Salmon was raw in middle. Waitress didn't ask how we wanted it done. There was sweet pea gnocchi and pulled bacon with a dill sauce. The salmon had no flavor. I did not like this new salmon dish. The previous salmon dish was better. I have had better salmon dishes for less money. I was really hoping this place would work out. read more

We caught this place on a quiet night but it was so nice inside. Not too loud, nice atmosphere, dim restaurant for a comfortable feel. Waitress was great , I think her name was Sam, but she was great with recommendations including dietary and allergen restrictions in our party. Our food came out in timely manner and was very good - never once did we feel rushed. The signature chicken dish was tasty and enough for leftovers! My family and I were in the area for the day and decided to stop and have a late lunch. The food was ok, the service was good, however my son left his retainer there and didnt realize it until we were home, 3 hours away. I called immediately and luckily they had the retainer in the office, I told them I would pay for shipping if they would send it to us, as we lived 3 hours away. The manager said they would send it the next day, this was a Sunday. A week later the retainer had still not arrived so I called back and spoke to a manager, he said he remembered the call but he had been on vacation the last few days so he asked the other manager and he said he had just mailed it that day (8 days after my initial call). Another week passed and I called again and the manager had no idea what I was talking about but made a note for the GM to call me at 11am when he got in the next day. The GM called me the next evening and told me that it was in the office with a bunch of other stuff and it must have been thrown away (this was 17 days after the initial call/visit) I told him I was pretty upset that I had been lied to several times about it being mailed and I would've driven back had I known they were not going to send it, a new set of retainers is $400. It is absolutely not their fault it was forgotten, but again they assured me on 2 different occasions it was being sent to me. I spoke to 2 different managers that said they were sending it to me and yes half his managers knew nothing about it and it got thrown away. This is just unacceptable to me. read more
