I don't come to Edison often but was excited to find a good reviews Vietnamese restaurant. I went in at 4:30pm for an early dinner. It was not too crowded and we got a table right away. However, the food took more than 30 minutes to come. Meanwhile, all the water that were given to us were dirty. Even the waiter was surprised to see the dirt of all four cups of water. Food was ok but appetite was ruined. Overall, I don't see myself going back again. read more

Came to try this lovely restaurant for an early dinner. I appreciated the modern decor, with bright colors and greenery for a very calm dining experience. The staff were very attentive. I started with the sugar cane juice which was delicious, along with the avocado summer rolls and Bo wagyu la lot. The avocado summer rolls were very light and the dipping sauce was just what the dish needed. The Bo wagyu la lot weren't my favorite but I wanted to try something new. I originally ordered the vegetarian noodle soup but was told after I ordered that it was not available so I ordered the beef noodle soup. The beef noodle soup was hearty and had a lovely seasoned broth. The steak and eggs was my favorite! So much flavor! I ended my dining experience with the tofu pudding. Loved the brown sugar boba. The tofu pudding was very light and much appreciated after enjoying two hearty entrees. Will be back to try the vegetarian noddle soup! read more

The food was pretty good but the service needs a lot of improvement. When you initially walk into the restaurant there's no one to greet you/direct you to a table. So we just stood at the front looking goofy for a good minute... When our food came out, we noticed that the bone marrow was raw under the surface, we basically took bites of raw bone marrow and spat it out. We flagged down a staff member and asked him to send the bone back to the kitchen to cook more. He didn't say anything to us and just grabbed it with a napkin and 5 minutes later someone else brought it back out to us. Literally no words were said to us during this exchange lmao. Throughout our meal, no one came to check up/refill our water. When we finished our meal, we had to flag another employee down for our check because again, no one was checking up on us haha. This modern Vietnamese restaurant is better than its competitors with bigger servings and nicer ambiance. I appreciate their $10 pho on Wednesdays with a large serving of noodles and 3 kinds of meat of your choosing (brisket, tendon & meatball are my favorite). While Lua's competitors such as Baguette Delite increased prices to match Lua's, their quality & quantity is no match for Lua's. This is my favorite Vietnames restaurant now. read more

Exciting to see more Vietnamese restaurants opening up in the area. I had to give this one a try, especially as a Vietnamese American from southern California. Interior and ambience are amazing. Very sleek, modern, and clean. They seem well staffed, so service is good and personnel attentive. I ordered cà phê sữa đá, which has a good coffee kick but a questioningly slushy texture from the shaved ice. I also got Bún bò Huế, which was not bad. Personally not a fan of the meat (kind of dry/bland), though the broth makes up for it. Overall very passable. And the prices? Ow...it's expensive. I would agree with another review which mentions it feels like you're mostly paying for the service and decor. It's a decent place, but it's nothing spectacular. I might give this place another shot to try out other dishes, but I'm currently reluctant until the price is lower or quality gets better. To be fair, it is still new and definitely has potential, so with time they'll hopefully improve! read more

The meat quality for the pho is above average. The broth is very average. If you are looking for ambiance and alcohol, come here. I prefer other pho place in town since i dont drink. Nor do i care about ambiance. Just need a good bowl of pho. read more

Ambiance is nice with a price tag to match. Drinks were very tiny for $7-8. Food was very so so and COLD. Pho ingredients (ox tail and tendons) were under cooked. Servers were also clearly inexperienced. You might as well get kura sushi next door for better food for your money. read more

The pho is really tasty and flavorful, and the environment is one of the best parts of going here. The lights and ambiance are modern and really aesthetic. Zilan is a great server, and definitely knows what he is doing. Most definitely recommend coming here for a good meal. read more

Not an expansive menu for a Vietnamese restaurant and is expensive. Menu item meals are $$$. I ordered just an appetizer, Goi Cuon, but it didn't have pork or mint as part of the ingredients. That was a disappointment. read more

I was hopeful that the pho will be as good as what they have at Pho Minhs, Linden, NJ. Instead, it taste like water, none of the expected spice and herbs that one would taste in a nice broth. The summer spring roll is somehow missing something plus the fact that it was not freshly done that the rice noodles inside were hard to eat. It's like eating day old rice straight out from the fridge. The bbq chicken was good and it taste like a typical glazed bbq chicken but again there's something that is missing. The pork chop grilled was missing that vietnamese seasoning containing mild fish sauce taste and lemon grass. It would be nice to have been given more lettuce leaves to wrap the meat in. I hoped that they will improve what they are serving. For now, it's not worth the price they charge. read more

Ordered take out through Uber, picked it up myself. The person could not find the order. Eventually found it and I took it home. The ordered was well packed and the top of the bag stapled. However the drinks and dessert were missing. Called them up and they acknowledged they I did not picked them it. I countered that they did not give it to me. Then a lady in the background started to shift the blame to the Uber guy. I explained I am the customer that picked it up. The lady continued to argue it was not their fault. This back and forth went on for 2 minutes. Instead of trying to fix the problem, their focus was to blame someone. Terrible customer service! Food was ok. The restaurant was half empty at 6pm on a Sat. With so many Vietnamese restaurant in the area, you would think they should focus on custom service to compete. I ended up driving 30 min to get my drinks and dessert, even though they said they would deliver it to me. At that point trust was lost. read more
