The worst calamari ever. It's like rubber, can't even bite it. Never buy calamari from this place, such a waste of money

Worst place to eat!!! They totally forgot your order and don't feel sorry at all. I would like to give a zero star if it is an option.

(the broth wasn't signature but it was a type of soup that also had mala in it) it was delicious but i am not a big fan of the numbing taste/sensation. i ended up recooking it at home to really enjoy it. i also ordered scallion pancakes and it very flaky and flavorful. the table ordered 2 sets of mala wings, a soft shell crab, crispy pork belly, two other signature mala soups, and a fried rice with added steak i believe. everything was very yummy, and the only thing i would change besides the soup would be the wings. i would try the black pepper flavor instead. the mala wings were a bit underwhelming being that we've had at least five different mala flavored meals at the table. the restaurant was a bit smaller than i expected from the social medias, but the staff was kind and very informative. i'd return and try different options!

They now control their ordered system through QR codes and it's all completed on your phone. My husband and I both opted for a dry pot. It's $1 for the sauce/seasoning, $4.95 for each meat and $3.95 for each vegetable or starch. As you can imagine this adds up quickly. I ordered the ginger and scallion with beef brisket, pork belly, prince mushrooms, corn, sugar snap peas, and udon noodles. There were a lot of issues with my dish in particular. I ordered mild but my dish was very spicy. I can handle spice but I feel bad if anyone orders this who can't. I'll include a picture with the amount of Szechuan peppers in this dish. The menu says pork belly but what they actually mean is thinly sliced pork which is not the same. Additionally the menu indicated corn so I was under the impression I would get loose corn not corn on the cob. Otherwise, we probably only waited about 5 minutes for our food and all the wait staff was very attentive. My husband loved his dish though so we have very opposite opinions lol. I will be coming back because my husband still loved it here and I want to give the hot pot a try.

My friend and I stopped by here for dinner after a long day of shopping at the outlet malls in NJ…read more as avid city girls, we are always on the hunt for the most authentic and delicious desi food. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted to a dining room, full of patrons, mostly families. We ordered whatever is the best off the menu, of course the waiter suggestion weighed in heavy here. We started with the beef Bihari kebab which was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and perfectly spiced. Personally, I wouldn't have minded a little bit more spice, but this was a beautiful marriage. For the entrée, we ordered some bread with the goat karahi and chicken biryani. The karahi came to the table, sizzling hot and was an absolute spectacle. The spices were absolutely on point and the goat was cooked to the bone, it was very tender and bursting with flavor. The chicken biryani was spicy just how we ordered it and had the perfect ratio of masala to rice. The rice was cooked beautifully and not clump together. This was a really solid plate of biryani. We obviously had so many leftovers and happily took them home. I ordered the pink kashmiri chai to wash all of this down. The owner was super friendly and we enjoyed talking to him very much. This is a small family restaurant in the heart of Edison dishing out some of the best desi food around. Make sure to stop by here and enjoy their many menu offerings. I cannot wait to come back!!

The naan paired perfectly with the meats. My partner loved the chicken kebab and said that it transported him back to Bangladesh! We also ordered the rice pudding which was yummy with pistachios on top. We left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. This is a wonderful spot for halal food, tasty meats, and quaint atmosphere. Service was prompt and efficient. Thank you!
