The technician could not speak English, and I kept trying to clarify what pedicure I wanted; he just smiled and ignored me, proceeding with an elaborate and expensive service, which I did not want or have time for But the worst part was that he cut my foot and it started bleeding. I am not impressed with this salon at all. I went here from out of town and was recommended by a friend. I wanted a mani pedi. My pedicure was great performed by Crystal. She takes her time and really does good work. So leaving her aside from my poor review. This place was overpriced for a dip manicure. I paid $100 for a mani pedi and received sub par service with my manicure technician. She dug into my nail bed with the tool and did not place the dip on evenly. She filed my real nails down too short and they look like they are stubs. She used to the tool to outline the dip but filed down too much close to my cuticle, making it look like I need a replacement earlier than normI am probably more critical as they are on my hands but you want good work for what you pay for. After 1 day one of my nails cracked. I've received better service at a lesser establishment. UPDATE: this place is garbage. Worst pedicure I've ever had. $59 and the polish never cured and rubbed off. Called and said I want to come back for a refund for my time and it to be redone and they said they won't do a refund and it's on my own time if I want to come back to have my $59 pedicure that rubbed off after 1.5 hours repaired. Manager kid said this happens sometimes, what?!! Said I can call another manager and they won't ever refund, only thing they do when they mess up is redo if you want to waste your time and go back again! This terrible nail place charges people $60 PLUS tip for a 35 min pedicure and it rubs off and smears 1.5 hours later! My wife and I have come here five time now and enjoy it each time. They are family owned and treat their customers well with a bit of detachment when it comes to communication. The reality of that is that most of the staff does not speak English fluently so communication can be hard and sometimes frustrating. Regardless of the issue in communication, they deliver a good service and are always busy. The pricing is a little high for pedicures, but this is one of only a few places to go out here! The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the manager was incredibly kind and understanding. I went in with very long natural nails looking to switch my acrylic to dip. Never have I ever had an issue doing this. My nails were handled very roughly and the man working on my nails accidentally broke multiple nails in the process of getting my old nail polish off. After showing him the photo I expected him to apply tips to the nails he broke but when he didn't he told me it's very $10 extra for tips. I can understand that If I had had short nails however this was not the case. After nearly an hour and a half later I was completely unhappy. The manager was wonderful and told me she would redo them and schedule me however with this place being out of the way with me it was not an option. Was sat in the chair before the tub was filled. Told to sit, and when the tub was finally filled (with my feet inside) the water was lukewarm, at best. When Minh came to me, she never asked how the water temperature was. I asked her if she could add some hot water in, which again was lukewarm. She said that they have an issue with the water being cold first thing in the morning. Seemed odd to me sine no other customers were complaining about the water temperature. For me the clear coat on my nails did not go all the way to the edges, so I know the polish is going to chip off pretty quickly. I should have inspected more closely before leaving the salon. First time at this nail salon and especially after the COVID-19 pandemic arose, I was in desperate need to bring back my true femininity. I was so disappointed and heartbroken. The nail technician smelled like cigarettes and did a piss poor job with my color dip on my natural nails. I was getting acrylics and I noticed that my nails were crooked when she filed them down. When I asked if she could file one down a bit more in one corner, she told me "What are you talking about? They're fine". Second, the acrylic material had hardened under a few of my nails, since she didn't clean it well while it was wet. So I ended up trying to break it off with some pointy small scissors when I got home. I know I should have asked her to do it but I was so frustrated that I just wanted to leave. Also a few nails were uneven- bulky on top. I might try this place one more time but with Taylor this time only because it's so close to my house and it's convenient. I don't remember the name of the lady who did my nails. I know her husband also worked there and they have been married for 30+ years. I was visiting from another country and stopped in to get my nails done. The lady was very nice and accommodating with my fill. The end result was nice. However, today makes 6 days and I've already had three nails BREAK OFF AT THE TIP. The first one happened on Tuesday, a mere three days after getting them done. The second one broke on Thursday as I was closing my car door. The third broke today as I was wiping after using the bathroom (tmi, but no excessive force was used). I've been back home since Monday so obviously I can't go back to get them fixed, but this is CRAZY. I've never had this happen before. Came for a birthday pedicure (and writing this as I sit) and was sadly disappointed. Sat down at a pedicure chair that only had flap (so your head just bounces back and forth) and let the man know and he stated that he just does "nails" and doesn't sit in the chair. He didn't move me chairs as there were at least 6 other ones open. He also didn't care to try and fix it. Then the pedicure lasted 15 minutes (maybe 20- but that's being generous).
