Angel was absolutely wonderful! So friendly and welcoming, and she really took the time to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted--from the color to the shape and length. I'm so happy with how my nails turned out and really appreciated how attentive she was throughout the entire appointment. I'll definitely be back! read more

I need regular pedis for my sad toes. We moved here a few years ago but I still drove back to my old place - then my one person left! I knew I had to find someone here and I called this Coco Nail Bar. I explained what I needed - a gentle expert who can manage sensitive feet with ingrown toenails. They connected me with Amy and also Nina. I have seen both and they are both terrific! They both did exactly what I needed and I experienced very little discomfort. I was also thrilled to enjoy the Milk and Honey pedi. Next time the hubs will come with me too. Highly recommend! read more

Everything!! Zoe is my hero - she is thoroughly, knowledgeable, friendly, precise, and efficient. Whether I have a design in mind, or I give her free reign on my hands, she NEVER let's me down. The music is on point, but not loud, the other techs are also wonderful. You feel SO pampered when you leave. Go visit, pls! You won't be disappointed... read more

I hadn't been to them since they moved into their new location in the Commons. We decided to give them another try after years of not returning due to poor service. I can say the service has definitely gotten better and it looks like they have all new staff than who used to be there. The salon looks clean and inviting. They have so many color options and styles to choose from (glitters, chrome, cat eye, etc.). There's something for everyone. My mom and I did our nails. I did a cat eye and I really liked my nail tech- Jason. I do live out of state so when I'm back in town to get my nails I will ask for Jason. He was very gentle with my nails and did a good job. read more

A few things were wrong....1. I showed the nail staff a picture and she helped me find the color but I didn't get the exact picture. 2. She gave me a no chip. I didn't ask for that. I asked for a regular pedicure. 3. I saw a sign outside for 15% off for new clients. I asked her about that but never got the discount. Please if you want better reviews I think you should have people understand what people are asking for. read more

I was serviced by John, Huie I think. He did such an amazing job! He is such a lovely guy to sit and get your nails done with! From the moment I sat down, time felt like it flew by! We just kept having an incredible conversation throughout the time I was being serviced with my nails. I gave him a picture and he delivered just that! I'll show my before and after and it was only a fill and he did his art! Thank you John! Can't wait for my next set! He took his time and really seems to value his clients. From what I've experienced and that was my first time with him ! read more

I'm really disappointed with the experience my family had here. My mom and sister came in for pedicures, and while things started off okay, it quickly became uncomfortable. The technician who was supposed to do my sister's pedicure seemed like she was in a rush to leave and didn't want to be there. She stood right behind my sister with an obvious look of annoyance and was being rude to the other nail tech, asking them to move so she could start. Her attitude and body language made the whole situation awkward and unwelcoming. When you go somewhere to relax and enjoy a service, the last thing you want is to feel like an inconvenience. Unfortunately, that's exactly how it felt. I hope the management addresses professionalism and customer service, because this experience definitely didn't meet expectations. read more

The atmosphere is sterile and so unfriendly, my toe bed was cut during the process (but, I was told "it needed to be done!"), and the nail polish was left on my skin around the nail. I have gone more than once (because I am glutton for punishment), and the extra massage time I pay for never gets done. Overhyped, overpriced, and underwhelming. read more

Very disappointed with my experience. I brought in a photo of a simple nail design and the final result looked nothing like the picture I provided. As I noticed issues during the appointment, I tried to communicate my concerns and work with Lilly to make adjustments, but she was dismissive and unwilling to engage in a productive conversation. To make matters worse, I was charged for several upgrades and add-on services that were never clearly explained beforehand. Customers deserve transparency about pricing and open communication when concerns arise. I left feeling ignored, overcharged, and unhappy with the quality of the service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience. read more

My daughter and I went in and the nail tech was super forceful with wanting my daughter to "add on services" that she didn't want. Then the nail tech actually refused to do her fingernails claiming they were to short and made a huge deal publicly for all to hear. This type of bullying is never okay and they have lost our business for ever. I would have given zero stars if allowed!! read more

Horrible customer service. Sat for 25 min and still no one came to start my service. Won't go back!

I brought my mom here for a special treat and memory to share. We both received pedi's. We both opted for the new Pumpkin Spice Pedi. It comes w complimentary Pumpkin Spice Coffee made to perfection and brought to you. . Perfect for the coming of Fall. Hong took care of me. She helped me pick a Fall color. She was great. Good service and communicated perfect! Halin took care of mom. She gave my mother a lot of attention, outstanding leg/feet massage and very happy disposition. Hong- made sure that everything was going great and we were satisfied customers! I cannot thank you enough for making our day extra special with your great service! This is my go to place for nail services. I appreciate your whole staff as I've come here plenty. Thank you! read more

I really like the quality of the services at Coco Nail Bar and the techs do a great job. However, I'm consistently frustrated with the scheduling. Every time I come in for an appointment, with the exception of my first ever appointment, it's running late and I'm asked to push my appointment time, and I'm always waiting 15+ minutes past my scheduled time. This most recent visit, I waited 45 minutes after my original start time to actually begin my service. I book in advance with a specific tech for a reason, but it feels like walk-ins are being prioritized or appointments are double-booked. It's really frustrating to plan ahead and still not be seen on time. The services are great, but the scheduling system seriously needs improvement. I won't be back for a while.. read more

2 of us came in without an appointment for pedis and they took us right away - one tech was meticulous and attentive, did a detailed job trimming cuticles and shortening nails - the other tech was polite but it felt like he did the minimum, some nails rounded more than others, and lately touched cuticles. I would return, but ask for Andy - seeing other reviews quality is inconsistent read more

So this is my second time visiting this location, but my first time getting my nails done here. Why did I come twice and only get my nails done once? The first time there was a girl at the front desk who seemed like she was having a temper tantrum and I felt really uncomfortable so I left. I went down the street to the other Coco nail salon and got builder gel manicure. I made an appointment for the Algonquin location about a week later because it's more convenient for me and I figured maybe the girl was having a bad day. I went in a few hours ago and I was seen right away from my appointment, but when I booked the appointment, I selected someone by the name of Svetlana. They sent me with a Vietnamese guy. I'm pretty sure his name is not Svetlana lol nonetheless, he did my nails. I don't feel like their materials are the most sanitary. I didn't see any sanitizing materials. I'm relatively new to getting my nails done. I used to always paint them myself. When he greeted me, he took me to the wall to pick colors. I wanted a milky light pink base with an ombre French. That is not what I got it's like he didn't understand what I was looking for, and kept pointing at the gel polishes in a book versus what was on the wall. It seems like the stuff in the back part of the display is regular polish, and the front parts are gel. I showed him several gel polishes that I liked, and he kept telling me no. I could read the bottle. It did say gel so... Not sure I couldn't have what I wanted. Needless to say, the French I got was more of the traditional kind and I do have some spillage of topcoat on my finger that hasn't scratched off quite yet. When you look at the curve of my nails straight on you can see it's not fully painted and it's chipped already literally just a few hours later so especially since I asked for something relatively routine I feel like it should've been a little bit better done the nails don't look horrible but it's not what I wanted and with tip I paid $72 kind of expensive for not being 100% satisfied. Also, the people in there are not very friendly. I'm not expecting them to chat with me all the time I understand maybe there's a language barrier, but the guy seemed annoyed when I was trying to pick a polish. Maybe I need to bring a picture in the future. The girl getting her nails done next to me had a really cool version of sort of a geometric French tip, which is kind of cool and maybe something that would do in the future. It seemed like the girl doing her nails was really detailed and I would prefer a lady to do mine as I feel like I've had better success with them hence why me picking the name Svetlana. If she wasn't there, they should've asked me if I had a preference or even if I wanted to reschedule. read more

Coco Nail Bar - Nails 3 hours after mani - Nail Salons Near Me - Algonquin, Illinois

I just started going here a couple months ago. The service is incredible. I see a nail tech there named Hong. She is incredible! She is fast and precise. It took her nearly 10 seconds to cut my acrylics down to the same size. Her experience is evident. She also knew exactly how to color match to the photo I sent her. She is reliable and kind . I love my sessions with her because she makes me feel so comfortable. Truly a remarkable artist. She gives an experience people pay for . God bless her and her family. The location itself is bougie and clean. Chairs are comfortable. read more

Honey and Vickie did an excellent job!! My wife and I had Mani and pedis. Excellent service! We will definitely be coming back.

Really wanted to love it . I was waiting on by the owner who answered multiple calls and ended up switching to another guest . After waiting a half hour for her to come back they gave me someone else . Took over 2 hours to do my nails and I was just overall upset and they start making tik toks behind me when I am there to relax. read more

This review is long overdue, but I had I guy take care of me don't remember his name. I had a pedicure and acrylic full set. While he was doing my pedicure not only did he make me feel uncomfortable, he embarrassed me by raising his voice at me that "I need to relax because if I get a cramp later to not blame him". I should've let right there but I was scared and nervous. As we were done and moved to the desk to do my nails I got scolded from him that I shouldn't be getting fake long nails if I work at the hospital. I was getting my nails done because I was going on vacation, a customer shouldn't be scolded for paying for the service that they requested. The whole experience was just terrible and felt like I was constantly getting scolded. I hope no one gets to experience what I did. I personally will never this company any service thank you. read more

I have been going here for 5 months and had a nail technician John he was wonderful and since he's left, I have been bounced around all over the place. Had an appointment for 12:30 left at 2:30. Asked for what I thought was a simple ombré on almond nails. After being asked multiple times if I wanted chrome I said yes. Realized how terrible my nails looked and asked for chrome to be added to all nails to try to cover as much as possible. After making it a point to noticed my unkempt eyebrows I agreed to have them waxed. My skin is burnt. My nails look like crap and I'm out $131. I even tipped like a dumbass too. read more

Never go there. Returning customer who received horrible customer service. Put me in a pedicure chair and then completely ignored me for 20 minutes even though twice one of the nail ladies went to the front counter and said I had been waiting. Front counter girl told me I had come at a busy time even though I had an appointment and they had 3 nail ladies sitting there doing nothing. The place wasn't even crowded. I would never go here again. Went for a pedicure with my husband and the nail techs couldn't communicate with us in English. My husbands pedicure was supposed to be $39.00 and mine was supposed to be $44.00. We were charged 44.00 and 72.00. The guy who did my nails did a gel polish and I told him no.
