The spa pedicure with Sam B. Was amazing today! I was able to book online for the same day, and she even got me in a tad early. First of all this pedicure is truly a spa experience. It is in a quiet room with one other pedicure chair, with low lighting, soft music playing, and fresh smelling aromatherapy. I'm not a huge fan of scents but they used real essential oils (not fragrance), and they were so calming and pleasant. The pedicure starts with a brief foot soak in a warm and relaxing seat. Once you soak for a few minutes they give you a blanket, a warm neck wrap, and recline the chair to zero gravity, and give you an eye cover. I genuinely fell asleep as soon as she started to massage my feet. The experience was 10/10, and I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone! OMG I love this place. Everyone I have dealt with is professional and warm. Jessica does amazing work. I came here for a couples massage with my 14 year old. She really wanted a massage but was nervous- so I figured being in the same room would help. She has Jessica who was so sweet and explained everything to her. I don't recall the name of the lovely person who worked on me, but she was sublime! I swear at one point I thought she had extra hands.. haha. Both of our massages were top notch. I've had a lot of massages in a lot of fancy places, but this massage was probably the best one I've ever had. I came back for a hydra facial and saw Jessica, again. I hate to be the lone negative Nancy and maybe I just got unlucky but I think people need to hear this can possibly be expected with your massage. I went in yesterday excited for my massage and really ready for some me time as I've been caring for everyone else. My husband just had surgery, my dad just had surgery, I'm caring for a new puppy and as always, caring for my son with autism. Heather gave me a lovely Lomi Lomi massage. HOWEVER, I could not relax nor enjoy my massage due to people loudly talking and laughing in the treatment room next door. Heather had two noise machines and had them turned up all the way and I could still hear them. Not to mention, the heat on the bed was turned up all the way but I was literally freezing during most of the massage. None of this was the therapists fault so I still gave her a good tip which ended up costing a total of $157. I waited to write this review after speaking to a manager. The manager, Jessica, called me back this morning and offered me a 15 minute add on to my massage at no cost if I try them again. Like what? Why would I go back after that especially for just a 15 minute add on? I mean maybe I would try them again if they gave me a massage for free or half off or even refunded me by half. I got 2 gift certificates for SpaTherape this Christmas! This week I had the 90 minute pedi with Jessi, which was heavenly. The holidays were rough with the anniversary of the loss of my son, most of my family being ill, and the LA wildfires directly affecting family. Everyone on staff is so kind and caring. They know you by name when you walk in the door. It's like entering a calmer, kinder, more peaceful world for a while. Decided to treat myself and get a manicure, facial and massage here-- I haven't felt this refreshed in a long time! The owner, Sara, is so passionate and caring about her craft and it shows in every detail throughout the spa. During my facial she was informative about each product she was using and it was so relaxing that I dosed off ! Ashley was super helpful and was excited about customizing my dip manicure. This is my go-to spa now after my first visit this weekend. I got a one hour full body massage by Larcey, no chip manicure and regular pedicure by Ashley. The services I received were excellent.
