One of the worst gel French manicures I've ever had. I told the guy not to shape my nails as I had already cut and filed them prior to coming in. He still filed one down and then had to match the length and shape for the rest. I went in less than a week ago and after 3-4 days the edges are pulling away from the actual nail. It's also not a clean or tidy French tip when looked at up close. I think he put the gel way too close to my cuticle and they'll all be off or chipped a week in. Excellent salon! One of the best I've been to in a long time. Easy to make an appointment online and they accommodated my last minute appointment. The are extremely friendly, offered me water, and overall excellent customer service! The salon is clean, inviting, very pretty decor. Instruments were sterilized and my stylist wore gloves. Gentle music in the background was relaxing. My pedicure was excellent - the pedicurist was gentle, kind, efficient and very skilled. My gel manicure was done very well, all of the stylists are professional and skilled. Lots of color options for all types of nails and prices very reasonable. I got a pedicure here a couple weeks ago. Incredibly relaxing and my feet looked brand new even before polish. The polish they use is great it lasts and doesn't chip. horrible will never come again. first off, when we came in me and my mom had an appointment but we ended up waiting 20 minutes before getting attended. when we finally got with someone I asked if they were able to do a design and they said yes. in the end they butchered the design and looks nothing like the inspo pic I showed. Second, when I got my nails done I was with a nice lady and things we're going good but half way through they decided to switch me? they switched me with a guy and he was really rough with doing my nails, he cut through my cuticles and when I left I saw some bleeding. After all, the nails didn't even last 2 weeks they all popped off, can't even say they lasted long.This was really disappointing since Ive had people say great things about this place. I had to point out they were still sticky & then the owner had to fix the bumps in them from him rushing. Going into Peo nails I was automatically told to go wash my hands. Due to COVID you need to make an appointment before coming in and you cannot bring in any extra people with you. **UPDATE 5/25/18** I went back for a second time, better customer service experience. They now have plastic "shower cap" style tub liners that are held in place with elastic and changed between clients. Only reason I'm not giving 5 Stars is I was concerned that her tools hadn't been sterilized - they were sitting in a plastic caddy with all her files and stones and didn't come from an autoclave or sanitary packaging. She just kind of swished all the tools and stones she used on me in my foot water before draining, I sure hope she had plans on sterilizing them after that! The lady was sweet, didn't talk much, but was concerned if she was hurting me when working on a slightly ingrown nail. I appreciated the overall quality of her work. read more

I'm very disappointed in this place and it was my first time there. From the time I walked in there seem to be one problem after another. First of all I went for a pedicure and a manicure and the gal overfilled the water for my feet which ended up all over which was no big deal accidents happen. Then she scolded my foot by putting too hot of water in there. Then when we did my manicure I had one of the no chip done and she told me about some powder thing that was better and would last longer so I tried it which turned out to be a big mistake. The day after two of my nails fell off I had to go back in and have two nails done and since then I've had three other nails come off. So I decided to take them all off and never go back there again. He didn't do ANYTHING that a normal manicure called for, he just made me scrape my own nail polish off and then did a shitty job shaping (they're all crooked) and painting them (like a 3rd grade girl). Needless to say after a couple minutes of thinking I drove right back and got my money back. It's been quite a few months since I last had my nails done...I should have waited a little while longer and gone somewhere else. My mom went in for her regular appointment so I thought if the salon had availability, I'd meet her there to get a simple gel manicure. I'm not really familiar with the nail salons in the area and my mom usually seems happy with the work they do. The woman who painted my nails was extremely rushed. She spent 15 minutes from start to finish to complete my manicure and it shows. I was done before my mom even had any polish on her nails and they started her appointment almost 20 minutes before I even got to the salon. If the salon didn't have the time available to do a good job then they should have said so. I would have been fine not going at all. Now I'm stuck with gel polish on my nails and torn up cuticles. I would have taken the polish off right away if it wouldn't damage my fingernails by removing it so soon. The layers of the polish itself are uneven in several areas. There are a couple nails where the polish is non existent where there should be polish. When everything was finished, I had to file every finger where the skin and nail meet because they were fused together with sloppy excess polish. But one of the BIGGEST issues I have is that the woman painting my nails used a cuticle clipper from her station drawer that I don't even think had been sanitized beforehand. Even if it was, you should open the kit in front of the client so they know they you are using clean tools. The whole thing cost $30 which is crazy for what was done. In downtown San Francisco I get my nails painted, shoulder/arm/hand massage, refreshments, snacks, and earn free manicures for less money that I was charged at this salon today. I literally just paid someone to make my nails look worse walking out than when I went in. read more

I have been using Pro Nails services for years and have always been very pleased! Today, I was with a new Technician for my pedicure. It was honestly, terrible!! She rushed through it like she was running late, she hurt my toes more than 3 times and my polish looks very unprofessional! I could have done better myself! The owner of the salon is very nice and always gets me in on short notice. ANTHONY is fantastic! Always careful and gentle and the pedicure is always perfect! If this was based on personality i would give Anthony a 5, the only good thing about pro nails is the great conversation, the actual service was terrible. my nails looked like giant lumps on my fingers, and were extremely thick even though I asked for thin nails.The gel was uneven and pouring out in the sides of my actual nail. Worst over lay ever. I was already late for work so I just left and went to nail 2000 the next day to get them fixed. The man who did the nail/cuticle trimming part of my pedicure kept showing me what he had removed for some reason. I couldn't ask why as he didn't speak any English. The woman who runs or owns the salon applied the color on my toes and my manicure. She was unfriendly and rushed thru applying the polish. When I returned home I saw the color on my toe nails was also on my skin. In addition, my nails weren't filed evenly and were rough. I have been here three times. The first time I was here, I loved it! The woman who did it was fast yet thorough. She was kind and made conversation with me. Sadly, the second time I went back, she was busy but I figured all of the nail techs would do just as an amazing job as my first visit. Not so! I was rushed in and out and the paint job was so bad I ended up re doing it three days later.. It was streaky as if not enough polish was used. Also, three of my nails had fallen off by the time I got back for my third visit, about 2.5 weeks later - admittedly a little longer than I should have waited but life is like that. I had my third visit just 1.5 weeks ago. I had the same nail tech as the second time I went, she answers the phone and works in the first station on the left. She was very rude to me. First remarking that I did a bad job polishing my nails... Believe me I know I'm bad at painting my own nails, that's why I'm here. Then she was rushing thru the process again and even asked me who filled my nails last because they looked "so bad". When I told her she did it last she stopped talking altogether. As I write this I have three missing nails...two of which were the new ones she just put on less than two weeks ago. To top it off I learned that the nail tech I first saw- who I really liked- is gone! I hope that she found a better place to work where all of the other techs are just as nice and skilled as she is. I'd never been there before, just thought I'd try since I didn't like the nail place by Jewel as they did a crap job 2 times before on me. I was nervous as this small man aged 50 with a fish tattoo on his forearm worked on me. He was very delicate and took his time. It was the best hour I've spent in a salon. He was very precise and took his time. The outcome was fabulous, the best no chip manicure I've ever had! Every side of the nails covered and down to the cuticle. $30. They use gelish polish with the gelish 18W led lamp. I would definitely recommend and go there again! Very, very, happy girl here! read more

This is my favorite nail place in Woodstock now. All the people that work here are very friendly. I have been to three other nail places in Woodstock and all of them have been okay but I would sometimes feel rushed or they would be a bit rude. This place did a very good job and I personally am a baby when it comes to the cuticle part but they were really gentle and were sure to ask me if they were getting to close or if they hurt me.
