I liked the family friendly burger joint atmosphere- clean, not fussy. The combo of 2 way chuck and short plate is pretty awesome. It reminded me of Slater's 50/50 in San Diego a lot, though this is pure beef and you can order it medium rare. I got the 7 Peppercorn and Mountain Blue medium rare...not sure where the peppercorn went, but the caramelized onion was awesome and the cheese is just right. It's on the oily side but the potato bun soaks it up just fine. There's no fresh veggie in the burger though, and I think it could've benefited from some crunch. Good, but pricey. Presentation also could've been better because my burger came on a large plate with a single pickle. It just looked off. Service is existent but they don't bother you much. They pretty much left me alone because I sat at the bar with a book. The shake menu looked pretty enticing- they have both normal and spiked- but I was so full after I didn't get that far. Next time! read more

Just had breakfast here with a friend and the food was great! We both ordered the fried egg & bacon sandwich. It was exactly what we wanted. The service on the other hand was... AWFUL. It took a little while for us to order our food, but we finally tracked down our waitress to place the order. The food came in a timely manner. The issue was after we finished it took over 30 minutes for us to get a check. We also asked for the check about 3 times. The table next to us had an even more unfortunate experience with their breakfast. They ordered right after us and first received the wrong food. It was meant for the table next to them. Then they didn't even get their meals until after we were finished with ours. I could tell they weren't very pleased. Overall great food and not so great experience. read more

Came here for happy hour margaritas and... burgers! (duh). You know when you're just craving red meat? I just got the happy hour slider at the bar and it fulfilled the desire! When you walk in you are transported from Sag Harbor into a subway-tile-lined diner complete with booths, a fireplace, neon lights, great smells, and charm. They have a bar complete with taps, milkshakes with booze, and a menu with options! I'll definitely be back to try the array of burgers they offer (chicken/veggie etc). The bar area was packed for happy hour, and everything that came out of the kitchen looked fried and delicious. Margs were strong, bartender smiley, slider was larger than expected and cooked perfectly. Fries were crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside, and delicious! Lost a star for how hot it was in there... For some reason Yelp is not allowing me to post a photo at this time, I'll try later! read more

LT Burger - Happy hour slider... Pretty large patty for a slider!! - Burgers Near Me - Sag Harbor, New York

"Pricey, but oh-so-tasty burgers & shakes" Fresh, tasty burgers. Creative homemade ones or build-your-own. AMAZING shakes--I HIGHLY recommend the Death by Oreo shake. My boyfriend had a LT Backyard Burger (Cheddar & Bacon) and I got a Heritage Turkey Burger (avocados, tomato & lettuce) with an add on of cheddar & bacon. BOTH FRESH TASTING & DELISH! 2 burgers with 2 add-ons (w/o fries), 2 shakes, one mac-n-cheese(that tastes like Velveeta with bacon)=$65. Staff was quick and friendly. We were in and out within 30-40 mins. Chairs are pretty uncomfortable and hard on your bum, unless your on the bench with pillows, but those seats are for half your party for most of the seating in the place. Personally, I'd make a stop again because it was so tasty, but share food next time to keep costs down. Maybe even step in for a quick cocktail or shake to-go! read more

Service is slow as fuck, I got nachos before salad and waiters don't listen they brought the wrong food when asked for a specific directions for what to put on it. Overall wouldn't come here again read more

The veggie burger was beet based and sweet -- not my thing -- by the BBQ sauce helped mask the flavor and the dryness. The shakes were delicious. The battered pickles, however, were my favorite. I'd get the shake and the pickles again for sure but not the burger. read more

The thing I remember most about LT Burger was their milkshakes. They were pretty BOMB!!!! If they didnt't have such great shakes, I would of probably given this place 1 or 2 stars. Well, for $9 a milkshake, it better be da bomb! Burgers and fries were mediocre. They're not giant.... don't expect huge portions. I got lucky and came with 3 other people so we got burgers with different sides. The skinny fries, sweet potato, waffle fires, and onion rings were pretty good. They werent mind blowing or anything. The burger weighed about 7 oz. I think regular burgers weigh 9 oz....so they are on the smaller side. Seriously, you're looking at $30 per person if you just get an LT burger, fries, and one of those special shakes. Death by oreo is one of my favorites. The decor is cool. It has a 1950's "shake shack" feel to it. The thing I didn't really like are the tables along the wall. It's great if you're the only people there and there aren't any other people next to you. But when the place fills up, you would probably feel that the table next to you is a little too close for comfort. Service is satisfactory. I really hate this, but I see it in a few restaurants. At the bottom of the checks, there are several percentages suggesting on the tip. I think it's tacky. Casinos are the types to do such things.... I wouldn't expect a place in the Hamptons to have it. Oh well..... I'd come back just for the shakes. read more

Had a fantastic breakfast here yesterday morning. Our server was a stud. Very knowledgeable, quick thinker, and a hustler. Loved him. Food was superb. We just ordered simple items--oatmeal, eggs, turkey sausage, etc. Coffee was excellent. Only drawbacks were the iced tea and Greek yogurt. Tea was a bit stale, yogurt I think may have been frozen at one point because it was separated when served. read more

LT Burger - The smoked stack! A perfectly cooked burger with just the right combination of smoky, spicy sweet savoriness - Burgers Near Me - Sag Harbor, New York

I paid something in the vicinity of 15 bucks for a ceasar salad, I was working and got it to go . It was romaine lettuce with a shot glass sized cup of dressing and some Romano sprinkled on the floor of the styrofoam container. The tall lanky kid with wavy long hair at the to go counter was completely obnoxious and it looked all the servers were miserable as I was watching the body language of people being served on the patio . I am a year round customer on the east end and when February comes id gladly give my money to Bay Burger instead of this over priced pretentious dump !!! read more

Great turkey burger and fast, attentive service. Spotted this Saturday at lunch: Jill Zarin of RHWNY fame with Oprah's producers. Interesting, I guess. Anyway, for a rainy day in the Hamptons you could do much worse. The sweet potato fries were awesome. Btw, our Australian waitress reminded me a of Olivia Newton John circa 1982. read more

Great food and service but the prices are ABSURD. I understand it's the Hamptons but my burger was $16, which is about normal, and an extra $3 for two thin slices of avocado. Also, their shakes are $8-$18. $8 isn't bad but why are some $18? I don't care how fancy or tasty it is; that is just too much. If they can find a way to decrease their prices, especially $2 for a slice of cheese and $3 for bacon or avocado, then they will be five stars in my opinion. Nice job controlling Covid, though. They have distanced barriers between each table, which is very safe. read more

Great food, delicious shakes, decent staff. Sometimes you'll have a weird experience with the service, but whatever, it's a burger place. Fries are great. Shakes are really good but kind small. I have to be fair to this restaurant, the food is really good and the service has definitely stepped up. I have since been back a couple times since my first review and had a totally different experience. Breakfast: super easy menu to find something you'd like. The boyfriend and I decided to check out the Montauk Brewery this past weekend and after that were looking for a burger joint since they didn't have food there. We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a go- advice to you reading this JUST GO! The burgers were pricy- about $15-$20 without a side, BUT SO worth it! This was by far in my top 5 of best burgers EVER. It was juicy yet lean and cooked to perfection. We also had their $7 smoked Gouda fries- again... Just order it, you won't be disappointed. The beer selection isn't grand, we both ordered IPA's and didn't finish them... They were kind of skunky BUT the Rated R shakes were AMAZING! I would definitely recommend this place and we deff plan on coming back soon! read more

This place was absolutely amazing. When you first walk in, the place is super cozy and adorable. The menus are written on chalkboards as well as printed at the table. We were seated right away and have a great view of the street. We stared with blood orange margaritas which were delicious. For my main course I had the standard burger and added "fizzle onions" which were fried and delightful. My burger was more than enough to fill me up and cooked to perfection. Our service was quick and friendly. Their dessert menu sounded great but I was so full I had to pass! Great place for families or couples! read more

Decent but not great. The gouda waffle fries could have used a thicker, less saucy cheese. The LT sauce was quite tasty. The burger was alright but my stomach was a bit upset after eating the whole thing. Went in for burgers with my wife and my granddaughter . ordered a burger and fries my wife and my granddaughter ordered a burger a milkshake and red wine .was not impressed at all. the burger was average, the fries where soggy . have had much better meal at burger king . then I get the bill. the Wine was 16.00 a glass .the total bill was 76.20 for 3 burgers 1 fry and milkshake and 1 glass of wine. totally outrageous and A ripoff . will never go there again. read more

all I got to say is Max O sucks. he gave me dirty looks and refused to give me a box for my fries. he refused to hydrate my friends and I. it was 100 degrees and we needed water. when we reminded him he rudely said "HOLD ON" and sprinted away. when i asked if he had coffee ice cream for a milkshake he looked at me like i was an idiot and said he had the ice cream but not for a milkshake (he obviously doesn't know how to make a milkshake...). when we asked him to split our check he spitefully crumpled up the one he had prepared and ran away without saying anything. then he aggressively sprinted over to our table to drop off our credit cards (with soggy receipts) and almost ran right into me. the burgers were 7.5/10 and the milkshakes were 11/10. Max O was 0/10. the table he served next to us can confirm all of this. read more

We hosted our daughter's 14th Birthday at LT Burger. We had 17 kids and 5 adults. The staff did an incredible job! They worked very hard to make sure everything went smoothly. Also, a great place to grab a great burger with just the family. The salads are also fantastic! read more

I don't often review but I'm writing because I feel like this place deserves a better rating--not sure why the rating is so low except maybe for the pricing but it's the Hamptons, everything is over priced. Placed an order to go, got home, opened up the bag. First thing I noticed is that they put the bag of onion rings upside down and it spilled in the bag, second thing I noticed was that they wrapped the burgers with one way foil...THE WRONG WAY. Asked for medium, they were medium rare/rare. Onion rings SUCKED. The burgers weren't good. Only saving grace is that the fries were good and the shake was awesome. Oh yeah, 2 burgers, fries, onion rings, a shake, and a fountain coke added up to $51...absolutely ridiculous. And the shake was a "Large" but anywhere else in America that size is a small. Won't be coming back. read more

I recommend this restaurant highly! Had a great dinner here with my wife and son. The food was excellent. We had burgers and shakes. The burgers were one of the best my son and I ever had. My wife really enjoyed her jerk chicken sandwich, as well. The hostess put us on a waiting list. But, a very nice young lady behind the counter seated us on the " to go" side, took our order and served it on plates, instead of in to go packages. Very nice and well above and beyond what she had to do. The restaurant itself is very nice, and centrally located right on Main Street. Hope to get back for breakfast one day soon. read more

one of the most visually delicious-looking burgers I've ever seen was slid before me. I took my first bite and felt a bit of ecstacy. A huge piece of perfectly-seared ahi-tuna. A bright-green slab of cool, rich avocado. A zesty tartar sauce slathered on to perfection. All the flavors were perfectly in-synch and so tasty I had to order the sweet potato fries to seal the deal. The fries were light and crispy, and the perfect compliment the burger. My only qualm was the bun, which was a tad dry and too hearty given the already gracious portions of the burger. The fried green tomato seemed to get lost in the mix as well. Regardless, it's one of the best "non-burgers" I've had in recent memory. LT's menu of course offers an array of "real meat" options to every person liking: try the LT backyard cheeseburger with pickled mayonnaise; Mecox cheddar burger with bacon and mushrooms. Their sides read delicious as well: Fried Pickles and Chopped Brisket and Chipotle Nachos? Yum. They also pride themselves on their milkshakes which sound dangerously decadent ("The Fluffer" with vanilla ice cream and toasted marshmallows is still calling my name). Budget beware as everything comes a la carte so a simple burger/fries meal can quickly add up. read more

This has become my "go to" place in The Hamptons! I love the atmosphere, the laughter and din of all ages, it just adds to the feel of a true family restaurant, AND I don't even have children! I just makes you feel alive! The food is great! The menu may be short, but it is a burger place, after all! Even the veggie plate specials are unique and flavorful. The staff is more than willing to make adjustments for you to anything you may have a hankering for. There are four (Maybe more?) types of French fries! Now, for the adults, the bar is also fantastic. Sue, Sara and Ryan are all ready to serve you with a smile and a sincere welcome! They have a Happy Hour everyday, and the dessert drinks are adapted for adults, but don't be afraid to ask for something different, Sara particularly, has a knack for mixing up something totally awesome to satisfy your libatious craving! Every day there is a specialty drink or two written on the wall, be sure to check it! So, take the family and enjoy, or just go to know there will be laughter and children, not to mention cocktails and great food, to lift anyone's spirit! read more

I have very mixed feelings about this place. The interior was quite interesting...It's an older building and thus has a lot of character. There's an old fashioned fan and cool horseshoe bar. The food on the other hand was nothing special--particularly for the price. Burgers were definitely above average but shoestring fries that accomplished combo meals were not good. Waffle fries were better. Kids meal has the dubious distinction of the most expensive I've seen on a menu...$17! I don't care that it's the Hamptons. That price is outrageous. Why bother ordering a kids meal? And believe me we didn't! Shake was ok but very heavy on the whipped cream. ...Like I said: all in all nothing special. read more

The shakes are ridiculously over the top and extra in the best way possible. Best cheat day is going in for a brownie wonka, a s'mores shake and Kathy's cupcakes. Worst service and food ever! Kids meal ridiculously overpriced and not even healthy. Get real!

It is shocking this place can stay in business. For the 2nd time this summer I ended up not eating because they could not get a very simple order correct (Who puts mayo on anything anymore?) My dining partner also had to send back but it came out right the 2nd time. The wait staff is beyond apathetic and clearly have not been trained. Management seems to barely be oversee for such busy place. They squeeze 6 people at a 4 person table causing children to be hanging all over the place. Unfortunately with limited options in Sag Harbor this remains a place for people to take their unruly children and not have to supervise as they would at some of the better places. read more

I enjoy their lunch and dinner menu so when I was thinking about where to go for coffee I remembered their inviting "cafe" in the front of the restaurant that opens for breakfast. Cappuccino was meh but what will keep me from coming back for breakfast: everything is served in brown boxes. Unless they compost, which I seriously doubt. So much waste! Not even ceramic cups if you choose to stay. read more
