You can see a non cash adjustment. It was $.78 extra for doing what other places do.( take card payment)

It is a cool place. Food seems really good, friendly service, just be aware to use a debit card or credit they will put a 4% on your bill. No other business I ever been has. What I got was really only rice and beans for $16.00 a little meat and tiny piece of chicharon. Very disappointed with this!

This was our first time visiting South Hamptons Ny and my mom's friend recommended this place. They have all kids of Peruvian food and I believe next door it was Colombian. I think both places were own by the same owner. I really enjoyed their mojarra it was very tasty! I would definitely come back to this place. If you are from Peru and you are visiting South Hamptons definitely check this place out.

The only thing I got a photo of was the zeppolis... While they lasted. I inhaled the food!

45 minute wait for my eggs. Absurdly incompetent staff. May be last the time i come here. They've gone far downhill. Do better.

We only saw the waitress one time. After waiting 15 minutes, she arrived to take our order and we NEVER saw her again. The potato purée with truffle cream and leeks, which we requested to arrive first hadn't arrived after what seemed like 15 to 20 minutes so we got up from the table and apparently they made a mistake and it should've been brought to the table and when it did, it was cold or barely warm. We tried to find someone to get us to help us, but after five minutes gave up and decided to eat it. You couldn't taste any truffle and we ate it just because we were hungry, but it was extremely disappointing. There were hardly any leaks on it and they were overcooked. Next, there was confusion over our entrée which we were splitting and we wanted to come out and we again had to try to track someone down to explain to please send out the entrée. When it arrived, the fish had been pounded down thin and was covered in breading and so much oil that it was completely disgusting and inedible. Instead of a beautiful piece of juicy flounder, we got a dry, oily thin piece, which was mostly breading and really disgusting. It had no flavor. Green beans which they put a fancy name on to make it sound special while they were overcooked and tasteless and the sweet potatoes were watered down. The rum banana was overcooked and would have been better suited as a dessert. We then had to get up from the table again because we never found our waitress so we had to go to the hostess so we can retrieve our bill and left a very undeserving 15% tip. We managed to find someone else to bring us some containers to take on the food that we hadn't eaten and in the end, I don't know why we bothered because it went in the garbage. If you want terrible service and terrible food, then head on over to Fauna . If you want good service and good food walk a few feet and there you have Flora. Flora is a small intimate restaurant that is decorated beautifully had amazing service and cooks their food perfectly. They treat each customer as if they are their most special customer. We felt welcomed there and we felt like they went above and beyond to make us happy. It was such a different experience going to that. We are shocked the same owners owned both restaurants. Maybe they should try switching managers so Fauna can learn how to run things more like Flora. I have a feeling that Fauna makes most of their money on alcohol because you certainly don't wanna go there for the food or ambience. It's noisy and obnoxious. If you want a peaceful restaurant, that's beautiful and knows what their theme is then go on over to Flora. Fauna has lamps with deer, antlers and wood that is dark and uninviting and strange wallpaper with different animals on it in the bathroom and terrible smelling soap. Their menu is confusing as with their music, which was a mix of salsa and a type of music you would expect in a Mexican restaurant. You really missed the mark Fauna.

I've never had this combination before, and it was absolutely brilliant. Honestly, I'd go back just for this dish alone. The restaurant itself is really cute, and we were thankfully able to snag a table without a reservation on a Sunday for brunch--but only because we came early before the crowds rolled in around 9 - they def rolled in as we were leaving! My husband ordered the French toast, which was also delicious. You really can't go wrong with their breakfast or brunch options, but the scrambled eggs with burrata and avocado truly stand out. Highly recommend!

In light of a recent November birthday (it's kind of a hard number for me to swallow this year, but…read morethat's a whole other post, lolol), I decided to unplug in Montauk, which meant staying at the beautifully coastal hotel, Daunt's Albatross, AND trying out their restaurant right across the street, Bird on the Roof. As soon as you walk inside, you see just how WARM AND COZY the ambiance is, and I absolutely LOVED the dim lighting via candlelight, too. Atmosphere aside, the food was positively INCREDIBLE. (Clearly this review is warranting lots of all-caps.) We ordered the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sando (that came with a cute cup of fries), which was great, but the real star of the show was the blue crab! Think deconstructed crab chowder -- this decadent dish featured lump blue crab in a frothy brown butter with snap peas and corn, and it was super memorable, to say the least. We also ordered their Leggy's Thighs, which was another standout plate of small, de-boned fried chicken thighs with garlic, Parmesan, Fresno peppers, and microgreens. (This is not your average fried chicken!) The chef here created a deliciously delicate menu this season that definitely highlights both French and Japanese techniques. (We also caught the very beginning of their weekly trivia night, which seemed super fun and definitely something to keep in mind for the future!) What can I say except that this place is a Montauk gem. With incredibly delicious food, thoughtful service, wonderfully warm ambiance, and the ocean only 100 feet away, Bird on the Roof is a dining experience that will create only the best memories.

The description of the restaurant, the menus and the reviews online made us to decide to give them a try. We're so glad that we did! We entered through the bar entrance which was lively but not crazy loud. There was a musician setting up in one corner of the bar area. We could hear him during our dinner but it was not at all distracting (and he was quite good). We were greeted by one of the hosts (who I now believe may be one of the owners). We were welcomed and escorted to a table in the dining room right behind the bar area. From what I could determine, there were at least two other dining areas and an outside dining area (for dining during the nicer weather). Our server quickly came to welcome us, ask if we had questions about the menu / specials and to take our drink order. She was attentive, pleasant and was able to quickly and accurately answer questions that we had (we have some dietary restrictions and needed to verify some ingredients. She knew immediately what we could order to dine safely. We started our order with the Chiccharon appetizer. I had anticipated that the item would be traditional crispy Chiccaron. Instead the dish was more of a pork belly in a broth. We actually enjoyed that much more! It was plentiful, cooked to perfection and flavorful. For dinner my wife and our friend ordered the sea bass special. They both thought it was plentiful, perfectly prepared and tasted great. I ordered the pork chop with spicy cherry peppers in a light evoo broth. I told our server that I wasn't eating potatoes or rice and asked for a recommendation for a substitute. She recommended the broccolini which was a perfect alternative. My pork chop was served perfectly (medium, juicy,) and was huge! We passed on dessert but the options looked amazing. We will absolutely be back again SOON. Thank you.

There was a hair in it (I've worked in a restaurant before so I was extremely understanding about that). I sent it back for a new one and they took it off the bill without me asking. Overall a great experience and I'd come back again!

We were told that Watermark was five minutes away, and people liked it. We verified that in Yelp, and sure enough, let's go. This is not the sort of place you'd find by accident - on a minor coastal road and pretty much off by itself. The parking lot was so packed that we had to give up on it and park on the road. We were told that there would be a slight delay for a table, but seeing the enthusiastic crowd, we figured it might be worth it. It was. We got a really great roomy table, and our server was a gem. Looking back over the reviews here, we got their star quarterback in Connor, who sat down at a spare chair and talked to us about what to eat. Within two minutes, we were old friends. I'm a big fan of originality in menus, and they had it to spare. I ended up with the fried chicken sandwich and Donna had the Left Coast sandwich. Ham turkey and swiss on crainberry bread. They were both delicious and too much for one sitting. Connor even offered to wrap my mayo. The vibe was enthusiastic but not horribly loud, the food was unifromly great and the service was superior. We now have a go-to place in the Riverhead area.
