My daughter had been there before, but this was my first visit, and we were both treated very well by the staff, including the Vice President of the Shinnecock Nation, who teased me for comparing their lobster rolls with ones I had tried previously at the original Lobster Roll in Montauk, Lunch in Southampton, and Cousins' Maine Lobster trucks back in Pennsylvania. He said theirs use fresh, not frozen lobster meat and are better. We both got the four ounce "Guppy" served Hamptons style - warm lobster topped with warm butter and chives over a bed of arugula served on a toasted brioche roll that came with a generous portion of classic shoestring fries and a pickle.
