The restaurant is teeny, maybe 8 tables. Our party of 4 was accommodated by pushing two high top tables together, sparing us a long wait. Our waitress was perky. Had my first toasted lager, which was excellent. There's a regular menu of burgers, sandwiches, lobster rolls, etc.... There was also an extensive specials menu. My wife and I tried the Moroccan salmon. It was excellent- cooked perfectly on a bed of couscous with vegetables. The yogurt sauce was very tasty. Our friends had shrimp tacos and a salmon burger. They were fighting over the fries. The only minor negative is that the restaurant uses disposable plates and cutlery. What a great find! We are looking forward to dining there outdoors next spring.

Katrina's reached out a couple times and we returned their call a bit late, unfortunately I had other priorities (my tire) at the time and didn't immediately call them. The owner had absolutely no empathy for loyal customers who have given good business in the past and our situation, he asked what he should do with the food when we said we wouldn't be able to make it, and told us when we return he will charge us for the total of our order (2 platters - probably $45+). Between this and their outrageously high prices that we usually settle for over convenience and decent food, we will not be coming back here. It's a shame how greedy and unkind people have become nowadays.

I was here on a weekday morning and the place was bustling. Schmidt's is a grocery store but also has a full deli counter service offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options, plus hot food like fried chicken, hot dogs, burgers, you name it. The store was well organized and well stocked. Serve yourself options like the salad bar were well maintained and sanitary looking. I ordered two breakfast burritos which were well made and hefty. On my way out I also grabbed some brown butter toffee cookies from the front at the cashier, and truly I am still thinking about these cookies on a regular basis. They were that good. David B..was our server and after setting us up with some water, he took out drink orders [a Corona beer and a Negroni] We began looking over the menu. It is not a vast menu and each food group [meat, seafood, etc.] has limited choices. The appetizer listings have several more options. Wine list is impressive and is by the glass or bottle along with a list of specialty cocktails. . Our drinks arrived and we gave David B. our food order. My friend to the spicy shrimp rigatoni and I ordered the salmon. Our food arrived shortly after. Both meals were delicious. The spicy rigatoni can be made according to your heat level. The salmon was sitting on a bed of 3 boiled potatoes, olives, capers, cherry tomatoes and mashed potatoes with a sprig of rosemary and was cooked to perfection. It flaked away very nicely. My friend got another Corona and I continued to drink the water provided after my Negroni. In terms of caveats, it is pricey [food and drinks] and although we were there for happy hour, there is no per se happy hour menu that we were made away of. It is a large place, clean with more than adequate staffing. I did not use the restroom while I was there so I cannot comment on how well it was maintained. David our waiter, was attentive and accommodating, checking on us periodically to see if we needed anything else. Our table wobbled a bit and they sent someone over the take care of it for us.
